According to my mechanic you can "remove the blades from the throttle bodies and write the code out of the ecu". That's a direct quote from him. I've a K6 750 with C-28 code. I bought a used STVA from ebay which as it turnout was also a bad STVA.
If you're showing c28 and c29 you can totally disregard c28 and just work with the issue of c29 which is the TPS (throttle position sensor) Sometimes the TPS goes bad and will cause c28. I had the same issue and luckily I just had a dirty connecting plug, a little contact cleaner and it was fixed...this was after I took the STVA off and resoldered it and still had the code🤦♂️. For anybody having the same issue of both codes, try the easiest first.
Two years later and you have helped me with this at 4:30 am. My frustrations have been soothed and I can finally access my TPS to adjust it. Hopefully I don't have trouble putting the throttle body back on but I really appreciate you going in depth and not skipping how you got to the TPS unlike every other video I watched for this gen. Was hard to find this video but I am grateful nonetheless! God bless.
Man I've been trying to figure out my 07 750 stva for two weeks now and this video helped so much. The shop here tried to charge me 400 to put my new throttle body on even though I bought it myself. Anyway thanks a lot
I see now. I'm new to the gsxr line so I'm still trying to learn it. I got the c28 and 29 code on mine and couldn't fine the sensors that weren't the same price as the full throttle body so I just bought the whole throttle body and went from there
