I love your videos, GS. Perhaps you could do differential thurst F14A VS SU57 in TopGun 2 Maverick skins for my A lion Lionesses Purpose book. Being that's what I do in DCS to inspire ideas for my dream
190 or 109 vs I-16 donkey.... I've heard the donkey fought well. Let's find out. Not sure if there is an Aircobra in DCS but they fought 109's. Just curious about historical battles.
love ur videos but I ht5ink you are doing too much F14 and f15 when it should be all about f35, not a critique, but it is also almost 2024 and F14 and F15 are dinosaurs.
😂😂😂😂😂 Bruh I was like, homie you could flip the plane and grab a blade of grass! A little bit my a$$ 😂😂😂 The best DCS pilot I've seen. My man might be GOATed
This has made me more interested in new flight sims than anything else recently. I used to nerd out and fly full length missions in F117 Stealth Fighter back in the early 90s, this mission really brought that back.
Definitely one of the best "Technical" simulator pilots I've seen on any of the DCS channels. You provide the "why behind the what" in your narrations and it validates the realism we experience here. Keep up the great work.
FINALLY! Thank-you. This is the first time I've seen the NVGs played with a very limited field of view. You may have done it before, but I missed it. It really heightens the suspense and realism.
Ive been flying the F-16 for about 9 months. Ive pretty much figured out AA radar and weapons. The AG stuff has been a challenge.I have A-10s F-15E and C, Mirage 2000, MiG-21 and all fixed wing and havnt spent much time at all with those. @@wingless747
I could definitely feel the difficulty level well before you said anything about it. As far as which NVG mode, if the through-the-lens mode is what's accurate to what a pilot would be using, that's what I want to see. I think it's cooler that way anyway.
Love the the cockpit management skills, and how you used the SE to it’s designed purpose. Would love to see a video of the EX. Thank you for sharing and fly safe 👍🏾
I like the peripheral NVG view, just seems odd that our pilots who we spent thousands on their training to fly millions of dollars of equipment would be using a PVS-14 and not something newer
The beauty of PGMs. Idk what era of the 15E the performance of this simulation is based on, but considering how effective it's been for over 30 years its capabilities are terrifying.
Got a new lighter the other day and thought of you. It's got a picture of a pickle on it and say pickle under it. 10 seconds later with a sharpie and it had bomb fins and "pickle"
Brings to mind the footage of the car that was driving over a bridge as a bomb hit the structure behind it. It was in Iraq but I cant remember when. 91 or 03. Strange times then. Stranger times now.
Fun contrast after the F22 videos. F22: no one knows he's there, knocks them out before they even realize it. F15: everyone knows he's there, AAA lighting up the night and SA6 firing missles, comes in swinging and delivers the payload regardless. Even knocks out a couple of transports that just happened to be there. Lost track, but how many AMRAAMs was he carrying? 6 or 8?
@@TechLoverforever313 aint no way. This aint even dusk man, i was building off his joke by increasing the time of day, dusk is late afternoon which has lots more light.
Nice. I was stationed at SJAFB before my retirement and watched them all the time. I always wondered how disorienting night flying must be in combat situations. Also, not sure if anyone has ever asked, but you seem to know a lot about aircraft and weapon systems in general. Is it from hours of study or do you have a background in aviation?
GS, I have a question? How do you manage to do so much with that little? Man you were explaining all the way long and all I knew was blam blam GS destroyed the enemy back and forth...........! Dude you are one of a kind
If those two mil transports had their nav lights on, would you still have engaged them? Does DCS have IFF? Be a real storm if they were refugee flights I guess.
I want to see you pull a “get down Mr. president” and destroy an incoming missile headed for a civilian airliner or a similarly vulnerable target. Like what would you have done if that SA-6 had fired on you when you were next to the airliner and it had locked onto it instead, would you just watch the tragedy unfold or try to intervene?
@F16Eagle-Striker, It did seem like a standardized simulator? I think back in HS and the confident level of performance, I had taking my Driver's exam? "Practically, I think taking a simulator for @F16Eagle-Striker successfully. I would be far exceeded by night-vision!"
Seems like night missions are easier to take. How about a dogfight of an F-15E against MiG-29? It'll be awesome to know out of curiosity if their maneuverable differences don't matter as long as it's the pilot
SO, how do you learn so many complex aircraft so quickly? Is it more free time than the average guy, or is it simply taking what you already know from previous aircraft and applying it to new ones?
A lot of skills definitely transfer and it helps to understand how systems work, but yea idk how so many people become proficient with these modules 2 seconds after they release

“So I’ve defended a little bit here”

Flying a fighter/bomber those a Su-34 and though they're fighter/bombers they are still pretty scary

“Little bit of Over-G never hurt anybody.” The crew chief and maintainers took that personally.
I was waiting for this comment Lolol
Being a mechanic, at a job where one of the pilots exceeded VNE with one of the Flight School's aircraft, I must concur.

Over-G in the DCS F-15 makes it fly a bit squirrely. It averages out okay, but is still a more hands-on plane.
GS: *nearly slams into some random neighborhood*
Also GS: “So I’ve defended a little bit here.”

Beautiful airframe. Keep up the awesome content, you’re one of the best.
Thank you, I appreciate you watching

I hear they used to pick out random doghouses in a neighborhood for training to do a simulated run on them is that true? Poor 🐕
You're starting to look frighteningly confident in that thing at night. Air France sends their thanks

Yo the graphics to the videos are sick. Keep up the good work. My job has been tough lately and in a weird way your channel gives me a nice respite.
many thanks, appreciate you watching.
Honestly, this scenario in the F-15 combined with the F-22 scenarios *really* drives home how insanely capable the Raptor is.
I think the fullscreen NVG are better since they are less distracting and they provide a more uniform image for easier viewing.
I agree
Does anyone else immediately hit "like" to save time when you start watching these videos? 😊

This is the best jet of its time for a strike fighter interceptor
That is why it's getting an upgrade from F-15E to an F-15EX. Which takes this platform and makes it borderline a Gen 5th fighter, it's insane.
As a vessel captain, on the Gulf of Mexico, it took years to get comfortable at night. Cool vid.
Fantastic video GS! Love these night missions!
F15 is a dog. So flexible and a legit superiority platform. Night fighters in real world have to be top notch pilots, this is crazy. Great video.
Just bought the Strike Eagle and hooly cow is it weird to learn as a F-16 main on DCS haha. Such a capable jet!
everybody gangster until the f-15 shows up
These night missions are the best. Especially the stealth operations at night.
Really appreciate the time you put in these vids, great bed time mood setters
Really cool stuff, I'd love to see more night strike eagle stuff
Really enjoyed this one. How about an A-10 night mission air to ground? I'd be interested in the pilots use of night mission goggles.
Please do the Tacview analasis after missions like that.
Tacview for night missions is really helpful
Definitely prefer the full screen night vision.
i definitely like the middle screen night Vision way better then full screen Love the content btw
That RADAR map making function blows my mind
Thanks for sharing your flying talent and video making skills. Pretty awesome sir.
imagine walking down a street in the town as an f-15 nearly skips its belly on the roof tops.
