On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.
If you enjoy war thunder or Microsoft flight simulator 2020 or even dogfighting in Battlefield 2042, consider getting yourself into Digital Combat Simulator by Eagle Dynamics, the Combat side of Aviation with the BVR and Dogfights really provides a different and interesting perspective on aviation. Please create a Vid with The A-10C and F-15E working together while directly competing as they are often compared*! Both A-10C and F-15E obviously work together however with a twist! Not really looking out for one another, trying to get the most kills/plus ground support, and of course surviving! VS Couple Mi-24's, Iglas, Strela, Tunguska, SA-5, SA-8, SA-11, and Couple SU-25's! Plus ground support VS 50. Cal Technical Trucks, BTR's, BMP's, T-72's, and Couple T-90's!🙏👍

In all fairness, the F-15E is a terrifying aircraft for any aircraft to fight against. It's one of the fastest airframes with two engines but it lacks stealth. Now had we tossed in an F-22 Raptor then that would have been it, especially with the shared-uplink network they use to provide targeting data. An F-22 can sneak in, provide targeting data to F-15Es loaded out and their missiles can track using that targeting data without the F-15 having to get close.
Terrifying when they work together. Nothing like being painted by a bumblebee flying at Mach 2.
That Eagle may no longer be airworthy, but that's okay, it would have a home in a musuem after that mission.

That was one of the best fights ive seen you perform. Putting the Eagle just beyond its limits in order to evade death by less than 2 seconds at least twice was just masterful. Well done.

Paired with PL-15, its first priority is intended to be taking out AWACS from 150 nmi away, which means the opponent can only react to missiles either after they go active or get detected by missile launch warning systems like the F-35's EODAS, which leaves the hefty strategic targets very little time to react.
@@BravoCheesecakeI mean 5th gen stealth jets all have lower payloads due to internal weapon bays. They could put more of it on the wings, but that would void the stealth idea.

@@FEAROWNAGE they are pretty similar but gripen has meteors (longer range and a better missile than aim120) and is one of the best electronic warfare planes and is more agile than f15 and f16(exepl a ratefight at the deck then the f16 wins)

It depends how hard and how long you over-G. Before failing, the wings will bend. It's like a last chance warning.

I remember the day I picked up a new Aviation Week & Space Technology when I was 13... there I learnt about the new Mc Donnell-Dougas F-15 Eagle project, and the brand new P&W F100s. I dicovered the brand new bird was doing its maiden flight by those days. It inspired me to draw up a poster with the face of an Eagle's pilot on his cockpit staring ahead, followed by two other fellow Eagles drawn on a red sheet of paper with a white sketch of a gunsight on his face and the word "Fire!" I wouldn't figure out in 1972 that in 2024, descendants of that old prototype would be not even still flying but also actively and massively serving for the USAF and even more, the same USAF would be asking Boeing to build up (not just update old airframes!) a brand new series of F-15s; the F-15EX! to keep serving side-by-side F-16s (which also appeared in drawings as a next future step on the same magazine), to serve beside B-52s !!!

The J-20 is point interceptor/BVR missile truck, it doesn't even have a gun or gun pod. Now image an F-15EX with Peregrine missiles, so 24 BVR missiles about the same as the AIM-120C.
Captain I think that air base needs a second pass! great video always entertaining and informative for us wannabe fighter pilots.
The F15s radar is a full on cheat code! If it was full stealth it would be over!!! If they can improve the eagle like this I want to see what they can do with the F22! The shake is hardly noticable. "I bent the wings......." LOL! That thing is a tank! If you bent the wings and then continue to over G, thats mad! What a machine!
Depends on their stealth. We have radar that can count the turbine blades and tell you what engine they have even if it can't see the aircraft.
Reports say the J20 dosent have an internal gun anyway. I'm sure he knew he was living on borrowed time. 😅😂

That's more than the first time you've beaten the J-20s using the Strike Eagle! Impressive improvement for a heavyweight craft, GS. Now for the 103rd time, maybe you can do a merging boss fight against a Felon using either MiG-29 or Su-27? See if the turning rates with your DCS experience can outmatch a 5th Gen Fighter on a turn-and-burn basis using old jets. Great Flying today!

Does DCS actually model stealth? Or is it just a set made up number in the code
It should be modelling it I believe, you can hide from radar in the mountains, as well as notching/beaming. Ultimately I don't know the ins and outs, I'm fairly new. Technically everything would be a number in the code anyway.... RAM (Radar Absorbent Material) would be given a numerical value to denote it's stealth capabilities as it's all computer code, even if it's properly physically rendered.
Strike Eagle in Eagle clothing also sexy.
But man... I think maintenance will have to book some overtime on this one.
