Nice video and I was thinking about doing this upgrade. The only thing that bothers me about it is now it looks like a revo. I’m sure it will help a bit but I got it for the design and because it’s a small brother to my xmaxx. Nice truck though.
So I gotta ask you buddy I got the wide maxx kit on mine and yesterday and the end of the camshaft came right off.it pulled right thru the plastic that holds the threaded part where ur tire goes.well I bought steal cv shafts.my question is will they be long enuf with the longer arms? Any advice would b greatly appreciated bud thank you!
I have yet to drive it! If you do get steel cvd's make sure you get the correct ones. there are probably 2 different lengths. i may be wrong but do your homework! first drive video coming soon!
@@rcmustsee437 so here's the shitty thing when I broke the stock cvd I went right to the shop and the guy gave me a stock on and set the pack of steel cvds down too and said I got two options.so I got both lol but I'm still waiting on the aluminium hexes.fingers crossex they work or I'm returning them and getting my 100 bux back lol.ill let you know if there gonna work out buddy
Nick Michaud There’s 2 different steel cvd sets for the Maxx. One for the stock a-arms and one for the WideMaxx kit. The steel cvd’s for the WideMaxx kit are longer, obviously.
Yeah I really should have thot about it but all the cars and parts I've bought come from my hobby shop and I even had the maxx with me and brought it in to show him thinking hed give me the right parts lol I should have known better lol
Hey man, loved the vid. Just as a viewer, and constructive criticism, maybe make the music a little bit quieter. I had to adjust my headphones every time the music would come on.
@@rcmustsee437 Right.. I meant the two points you have to mount the shock. I had read a few guys were hitting to hard using the outer hole on the lower arm.
The more you lay the shocks over the more plush it becomes. Better for handling. If you are bashing real hard and hitting big jumps you want the shocks more upright. That’s the general rule for suspension.
Great video brother

I use 80w oil in my standard shocks an it handles fine on role over
Getting ready to put this kit on. Great helpful video!
thanks buddy
What badlands are on your truck? The 3.8? Need to know what size they are.
How does it handle now?
I believe the stock width is 14.5” from outside tire ti outside tire. What is the measurement now ?
I like your video making style so you got a sub
Aren't you supposed to use the inner shock mount on the front?
Rear spring mounts to the front. The kit included new rear springs

Nice job! Badland on wish wheel?
Do you have to change out the springs? Or can use the old ones
you could use the old springs if you want but the car may not handle well
@@rcmustsee437 You put them on the back?
skylerdiaz84 yes. New springs go on the back, the old tear springs go in the front. But don’t forget to change out that shock oil!
Great job!
What size tires are they are they 2.8 or 3.8
2.8
