Traxxas really does have the best warranty. They have sent me my replacement parts for different vehicles multiple times without hesitation and very fast. Another reason I'm a huge fan of them
Man I’ve had my first delivery model since they came out and bashed it hard as hell and fortunately both my ESC and motor fans are still perfectly intact! Fingers crossed!
Earl!!!!! Thanks for the MULTIPLE shoutouts. You didn't pop your front diff cover so I'm curious to know if you found water intrusion in the front as that's where I'm finding it from mine. I thinking because that's where the maxx hits hardest when going through water (and snow)😜😂 like The Parting of the Red Sea😝🤣😜😂👍💯👊
RC Guy Garage I was always told they where water resident not water proof lol but idk never had good luck in water even tho I silicone everything lol 😂
So second question. Do your rear arms seem to have any play at the arm pin area. Mine seem a little wobbly around the pin and arm joint. On the rear arms especially are wiggly compared to the front.
beetlebailey depends if you saw me and my daughter bashing the back flips land and wheelies better but for speed in the dirt the stock tires are faster and more controllable for me I don’t race her enough I like to jump more so backflips for me she loves the stock tires better hope that helps 🔥🔥👍👍👍
Hey Earl could you measure the top roof guard on your Maxx and tell the dimensions of it in inches? Have a plan for it but not the the measurements of it.
Earl Moorhead, thank you sir. I will be using it on my X-MAXX roof. I recently installed the RPM Skid Rails on my X-MAXX but There’s was still a large gap in between.
Noeys FastRC for me I would use the infraction Roif skids there is only two on it I would double it and run 4 of them maybe look into those since the infraction is a 1/6 scale it might fit better 💪💪🔥🔥👍👍
Earl Moorhead, I’ll look into that it’s just that I already installed the RPM Roof Skid Rails on the X-MAXX but I’ll look into it thanks for your ideas.
@@earlmoorhead5555 Wonder why my pins are totally different then. The arms have holes for a screw pin retainer. But the pins themselves are the screws. 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️

I know this is almost a year old but here it goes. I just bought a maxx hasn't arrived yet. Do you run yours with a dust bag/cover? Asking because I ordered one for mine and I hope it helps. Great video and new subscriber.
if you take the fan out of the new Maxx Motor Fan housing you will see how Traxxas fixed the issue. They put a spacer (piece of foam) on the housing to keep them from moving so much.
The fans they sent are not. In the housing or are. You talking about the housing the Fan itself comes in I Did see a video showing a plastic washer was added 💪💪👍👍🔥🔥
@@earlmoorhead5555 I wish I could send a picture they added a piece of foam to the housing itself. I called them when we broke both of James' and the guy I talked to sent me a set even though I told him I was going out to the the store at Traxxas HQ which is about 30 minutes from me and at the store they gave me another set both are complete with the new housings. I told the guy at the store I was going to do your fix with the epoxy and he asked me not to as these new housings were designed to not need it so they wanted me to try them without the "fix" and let them know how it worked. It has been over a month now and so far they are working great and James bashes the crap out of this thing you can see that in our videos
I had fan issues as well. I posted a video of what problem I was having and how I fixed it. And traxxas has fixed the same issue as shown in my Maxx fan issue video.
I probably missed it, but did you stick with the 80k in all four shocks? Or did you go with the 60k in front. I ordered my wide kit and some 80k oil. Just checking so I can get some 60k coming
Yes Earl, I am Diggin them tyres on him, he looks more dope than we thought he could have, have u driven as yet to show us the tall infraction, or is he the maxx infraction, shucks about the Warrenty issue, hope its solved some time soon⌚🍺
Surchaufeur maybe I’ve never called for a warranty issue on any of my traxxas but the warranty card I fill out and file says one year but this is my first rc to call them on 💪💪🔥🔥👍👍
Maybe because he is a youtuber XD horizon hobby were 10 times more kind than traxxas for me their shitty esc they wanted me to send it and take 4 weeks of waiting and they would have tell me to buy the same esc for half the retail price. Horizon hobby covers for 2 years for arrma at least about anything that is out of your control esc motor bearong explosion and their consequances they all cover it and understand what your going trought when i did that with traxxas they said we only send you remplacements for the first time. If something out of your control happens traxxas wont cover a dime its 30days or your out for any remplacements on the elctronics
Traxxas has a lifetime warranty i quess its great for someone who buys an used traxxas vehicule but someone in the right mind wont buy a traxxas motor or esc they will move to hobbywing or some company that are specialised into making those stuffs
Just found u great video i bust got my max looking forward to watch mlore videos. Thanks
Appreciate the support 💯💯🔥🔥🔥🙏🙏

Dan Brando I agree with traxxas I pay more for the support like MAXAMPS batteries 👍👍🔥🔥🔥
@@earlmoorhead5555 I couldn't agree more!
Like #34 congrats on the 1k sub good information for maxx owners 👍🏾
Thanks 🙏
I agree i get a ton of good info from u Earl!😃
Super cool video, I use the Turnigy Graphite Powder live on hinge pins and more instead of that silicone which seemed to create drag.
1etergen silicone didn’t last at all
Congrats on 1000 subs bro let’s get it 👍🏾💯 Rcfam4life

Mot really any play In mine
how should I change the diff fluids if I don't want to wheelie as much?
Center diff fluid goes thinner to stop wheelies fill half ways with fluid of choice like a 30k or just add grease to stop completely
Day one both fans lost all the blades called them same day and had new ones 2 days later but they didn't just send the fans they sent the housings to.
Wow that’s was great I got only the fan first time 🔥🔥
lol....I can hear you doing your laundry at same time ... your dryer is going
Yes most of my videos have that sound single dad life lol 😂😂😅😅

I do the same thing I put a beed of greas in all the seams / contatct points to al the diff and geared arias and pretty much keep it very clean
Awesome way to make it last for sure 💯💯🔥🔥🔥🔥
So do you just but some grease on the edge of the diff cover to help keep dirt out? I recently ran mine in sand and it got all inside the diff cover
Basherqueen now makes a gasket to keep sand out 🔥🔥💯💯💯
