- The 2025 Toyota Camry is officially being called the ninth generation of the popular sedan, but it's really more of a mild facelift than an all-new vehicle. With a starting price under $30,000, it's not any longer, wider, or taller than its predecessor, and it carries over many of the same features and options. Revised front and rear fascias give it a more modern appearance, and there are a few new color choices. The big news is that the 2025 Camry switches to an all-hybrid lineup. The base four-cylinder gas engine has been dropped, along with the optional V6. That leaves only one drivetrain: a hybrid setup that combines a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder gas engine with either a single electric motor on front-wheel-drive models, or two electric motors on all-wheel-drive models. Total output for the system is 225 horsepower (232 hp on AWD models), which is more than the previous hybrid's 208 hp. Toyota says that the suspension has been retuned for improved responsiveness, but there are no major revisions to the overall setup. It's a similar story for the interior as the basic design remains the same and there are no changes to the interior dimensions. New color and trim options give the cabin a fresh look, and updated seat designs boost the comfort level for the driver and front passenger. The latest infotainment systems feature wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, as well as over-the-air updates. The trim levels have been simplified, resulting in a basic LE, sporty SE, loaded XLE, and top-of-the-line XSE. The TRD performance model is no longer part of the lineup. Primary competitors to the 2025 Toyota Camry include the Honda Accord and Hyundai Sonata. Both have been updated recently and offer hybrid and non-hybrid options in addition to performance models.

My Toyota Camry is going to be 30 years old in 2025, & it is still going strong! Toyota build them to LAST, that is for sure. I am gonna keep my 1995 Camry, but I'm in the market for a new Toyota. But now I am torn, I was going to get a RAV4, but now I'm kind of loving the 2025 Camry!
This would be a great car if you can find a dealer that won't hose down customers.
Come see me at Bob Tyler Toyota , Pensacola FL !
They will. You looking for a base model for 30k? They will tell you to pay 40k for it. Imagine getting the xse trim. Probably close to 70k
Picked up my 2025 XSE AWD in heavy metal yesterday ... loving it. Do think Toyota missed it by not having memory seats on a top of the line model like this. Also I quickly turned off the camera that watches you driving .. driving home the car twice told me to "sit up" ... I don't think so. Turned off!
Got my SE same color today
It is watching you though. It's unfortunate this is where we are in today's society.
@@rxonmymind8362 you can disengage that feature and I did as soon as I got home. After the car told me to “sit up” three times I told it to Fauci yourself.
No way in heck I would buy an all-wheel drive hybrid. It's already bad enough that when your hybrid battery goes out you're going to be paying $5,000 to 7500, now you're going to have to multiply that by two since you have two hybrid batteries.
But I'm the type of person that buys a car new and then will drive it forever.
I'm still driving my 09 Corolla that I bought in 08 looking and plan on driving for another 5 to 10 years, but I'm also looking to get a newer Camry but I'm not buying that hybrid I'll buy a used one that's all gas. They also went to those crappy CVT transmissions just so they can meet government regulations.
Think about it, CVT transmissions cost more, require you to change the fluid every 30,000 me instead of every 100,000, you can't even do it yourself because they removed the dipstick and you have to have special tools. They are nowhere near as reliable.
But they get one to 2% better gas mileage to meet government regulations.
Pathetic.
Yes, it should have more standard features!
Greetings from southern Ontario Canada I really enjoyed the video
how do you set up the clock?
My reaction to this new model year? Wow wow wow, wow!
Was that a Ryan George reference?
Yes
The dangerously thin tires are a turnoff for me.
“Super easy, barely an inconvenience” 😉 nice pitch meeting nod
I have a 2023 Camry SE and the sport mode on the transmission is zooming immediately when needed... afterwards just push Eco and your back to saving gas.
Under $30K with $70K markups. 😂
Your thinking about the Tacomas 🤣
Not in my rural area. The only junk fee that's added is the $175 DOC fee which is the most they can charge in my state.
@josephkelleher8820 which state do you reside in?
19" Wheels no good. Would have to swap out 18". Wish the 19 was only an option😊 on the XSE
Nice, but I love my black 2020 2.0T Accord, and getting black hybrid soon which with tint and rims and few touches looks better too
haha! It often feels like 2.0T Accord owners are contractually obligated to go on reviews for every other car and talk about how much they like them over whatever car is being reviewed. :)
Boring infotainment on the accord. Bland.
@@MattCampbelification My issue was their nannies while driving. Do not steer me back onto the road when I'm purposely going off the road to avoid a semi!
Topgun grannymobile! #1
Old folks love this old sedan! ❤️
that back seat looks miserable
The LE model actually starts at 28,400 according to Toyota website. Not 30k
On the Monroney label they add a freight charge of $1095 plus another Toyota installed option which brings it to a little over $30,000.
I have the 2025 Camry LE with option package. I also bought the eight year extended warranty. After taxes and the add on fees the price was just short of $37,000. In today's car market I felt that it was a fair price. I am all in on the 16 inch tires now and was waiting on an LE to show up on the dealer's lot. Great car that I will own for many years to come. I got 17 years out of my 2007 Honda Accord.
He said under 30k...
It's the car of your dreams. You just don't know it yet.
I have a 2020 Camry and before that...a 2005 Camry (15 years). It's a terrible idea to NOT offer a non-hybrid Camry for 2025! Some potential buyers do not want a hybrid!
it's huge and that's not a good thing in my mind......
Horsepower low
Like you'll ever get even close to using it all.
@@jackscalibur just as you would never , people can’t mind their business because of their racist
This is a crap car. 37 inches of ground clearance means concussions galore. 5.4 inches of ground clearance means it can’t even tackle many driveways.
Probably still cheeping out with no remote start.
