This literally has pieced every single thing together that has taken my life from me. I have lost almost everything. It's been almost 2 years since my gut ballooned up with inflammation and my brain turned off. 20+ doctors later, completely broke, credit score tanked.. zero diagnosis. I've devoted every second/bit of brain power i have to learning about my "issue". I narrowed the pages and pages of ever changing symptoms, reactions, etc, files of labs, health/sleep/supplement tracking data down to: hyper intestinal permeability/blood brain barrier dysfunction and/or cellular toxicity....
    I have both issues
Serotonin:covid 2x, possibly other causes, Dopamine:copious amounts of toxicity. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR PUTTING THIS ON HERE.
I cannot wait to wake up tomorrow, dig more into this, find a doctor/order this lab.
I haven't eaten a full meal since feb...I cannot wait to have solid answers/data and a plan to get my life back.

Also your comment on the "bad design" of the tryptophan system: I see where you are coming from, but it's highly probable we just don't fully understand the system...prob missing a thing or 2?
