      He has children, he’s trying to defend himself as best as he possibly can. He’s conflicted, not everyone separates their emotions well. This is something I see, it is very common. It’s the most prominent behavior based on “emotional unintelligence”. Lack of ability to separate and sort out emotions, display emotional empathy, etc. I know for a fact that people that have these issues, usually have them because the people around them, don’t care about them. Likely, his identity is to portray a tough persona when it is obvious he can show patience and he asks a lot of questions to clarify because he doesn’t understand the direction everyone is going on. It makes sense, if you didn’t go to law school, who would know? Plus states have different laws they’re not all the same. People forget that he has been impacted by his life because of his race. So, it easy to cast stones. Judging people and hating them doesn’t help anything. He didn’t just wake up one morning and seek to do this. If he wanted to make this easier for the families he could plead guilty and confess, then serve less time. People don’t like him, but he’s American and living, he still has legal rights. I personally think he wants people to see that he does not understand and maybe a great attorney will step in to work for him. He murdered 6 people that day, why would he stop and ask them if they’re okay? Of course they’re NOT okay… he was fleeing police thinking about himself. There’s nothing else left to discuss here. He needs to move on from this but the only true way for anyone to be able to do that and begin closure would be if he ADMITS what he did. Apologizing, something.

    • @michaellovely6601
      @michaellovely6601 Год назад +1

      The only way Darrell Brooks would be sentenced to death is if this crime occurred in the south because that area of the country is vehemently supportive of the Death Penalty. In addition; practically every state in the southeast and southwest US is a Death Penalty state with the exceptions of New Mexico, Virginia and West Virginia. Plus the states that have the highest amount of Death Row inmates are Texas and Florida. Though there have been a few instances wherein criminal defendants were either not sentenced to death because of the jury not unanimously agreeing to sentence the accused to death (the most recent example of this is Nikolas Cruz; the perpetrator of the shooting at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida) or the prosecution deciding against seeking the Death Penalty (the most recent example I can think of is trial of Travis Reinking; the perpetrator of the shooting at a Waffle House in Nashville, Tennessee.) In both instances the defendants were sentenced to life in prison. The families of the Parkland victims are disgusted and enraged with the jury not sentencing Cruz to death; saying that the jurors failed them and that they hope every one of the jurors hangs their heads in shame over their decision as they have the bloodshed of the tragedy on their hands.
