Thanks! I had a golf ball sized boil under my armpit for a week. I was in excruciating pain! I tried squeezing in hopes that it would pop...NOTHING. Took your advice, soaked a rag in warm water and epsam salt for 15 mins. The next morning, the swelling had subsided drastically! At around lunch time I took a peek and it not only had come to a head, but it was draining! I squeezed and more came gushing out. This will be my new remedy for here forward.
Thank you so much for this factual and valuable information. Your presentation was impeccable. It was clear, understandable and straight to the point. Your voice/speech is strong, clear, and fully understandable. Your on-camera presence is personable, focused, well-timed, and at an even pace. Thank you for not having sour music playing in the background or other distractions. You did not waste time I will never get back. My first time to your channel and I am subscribing. Thank you again,
I'm getting boils in the same area for over a year now, it's in my private part, in inner labia minora or inner lips. I get them after 1 month or 2 or more, mostly I get them when I'm having my period. It's very painful that i can't walk probably and it hurts 24 hours, after 2 to 3 days it pops itself and drains, I even got it cut surgically but it still coming back after months. I don't have diabetes nor I'm overweight So what can I do now, please inform me!
First of all you need to find out what is triggering it then get a thorough check from a doctor. I posted a video on how to prevent vaginal boils so check it out for more information.
Hi I have had one of these for years and it is about 1 cm large under skin, and it does not hurt. Do I have to have surgery or can it be treated without surgery?
@@TimewithLydiaThePharmacist No problem I took your advice after seeing this video and having a painful boil for two days your advice worked and it is draining on it's own. I appreciate your time with making and sharing your video!
Iodine is used for wound healing but there are advantages and disadvantages that you need to know off before using it. Also it is important to consult with your heath care professional before you use it. Thanks for the question
Well yeah, some people who have bad eating habits will get it more often, diabetes also causes people to have more boils than a person without diabetes.
Please be careful because you can infect ur self, as I did after having a boil on my thigh (inner) size of a bow dollar. Antibiotics are always needed.
Really sorry to hear that, because it keeps coming back it could possibly be as a result of a few possible causes eg, ingrown hair, the sensitivity of the skin in that area or the type of underwear . Please do get it checked out by your healthcare provider
@@TimewithLydiaThePharmacist I got waxed last week . I had my husband look and he didn’t see a hair . Could it be where you can’t see a hair? Do you know how to get the area to heal from when it drains? That’s my issue. It keeps coming back because it won’t heal because the area. I almost got it healed . But yesterday , I went to the beach and got sand in it😆. So now it’s irritating again.
@Shelly Belle ok, you would possibly need it checked by a professional. I can only suggest visiting your local pharmacy for an antiseptic or antibiotic cream. Hope this helps 🙏
Names of medications vary based on where you live. In the uk 🇬🇧 you can get a plain antiseptic cream over the counter from the pharmacy. It is called antiseptic cream or a brand called savlon . An antibiotic cream will have to be prescribed by a doctor in the UK. Don't know about where you live.

When u feel it coming start soaking it in warm hot water with some salt so it doesn’t grow, Also take probiotics a few days before your period

So interesting video ❤
I have boils on both sides of my inner thighs area that keep coming back makes things difficult will it ever go away 😕
Have you identified any triggers? Ingrown hair? sensitivity to a product? identifying triggers can help prevent recurrence.
@@TimewithLydiaThePharmacist I have not I Just wish it would go away 😕
Which antibiotics can you prescribed for boil
Flucloxacillin. You cannot take it if you are allergic to penicillin. Speak to your health care provider for more details
@@TimewithLydiaThePharmacist ok
@@TimewithLydiaThePharmacist but I'm Already using penicillin ointment can I still buy the drugs
If the boil is taking a longer than normal time to go away. Speak to your health care provider about it. Have you tried warm compress?
Hello ! How can i get rid of the painful lump in my under arm overnight
Try warm compress. Do it several times in the day
Can a hot compress or turmeric help for overnight treatment
You can use turmeric when going to bed, but warm compress during the day if that is feasible for you
Thank you much these all really helped
Happy to hear that
I just jump in the gulf,
Salt water dries them up quickly
Oh really!. Thanks a lot
My boil has an opening.. can I soak it in warm wter and epsom salt in it?
If it has drained, then leave it to heal on its own, you can cover it with sterile dressing to prevent further infection and to help it heal
Why not iodine ?
Iodine is used for wound healing but there are advantages and disadvantages that you need to know off before using it. Also it is important to consult with your heath care professional before you use it. Thanks for the question
Thank u
Am in pain hoping this would work
If the home remedies do not help , the visit your doctor for a proper check and diagnosis
Nice dear 👍
Thank you 😊
I have one vagina boil and it’s excruciatingly painful and uncomfortable 😢will try the warm compress 😢😢 it’s so painful
Yeah, the warm compress helps a lot. Try it and let me know.
All you have to do is have regular showers with antibacterial soap. If you don’t shower you will get boils!
Is not the same for everyone
Well yeah, some people who have bad eating habits will get it more often, diabetes also causes people to have more boils than a person without diabetes.
"I have tea tree oil, but it's in a spray bottle. How many sprays I need, that amount to five drops?"
You can spray some unto a cotton pad and dab it on the boil
Please be careful because you can infect ur self, as I did after having a boil on my thigh (inner) size of a bow dollar. Antibiotics are always needed.
