I really like how the vehicle compresses into the robot, rather than the robot compressing into the vehicle like you usually see from these kinds of figures.
There is something so silly about the fact that the guy that turns into an A-10, the results of the military saying "here's a cool gun, let's build a plane around it", only has that little pistol for a weapon
warthog really gave " when pigs fly" a whole new meaning.
Love your videos! Something I've noticed with 3rd party figures and Emgo is either the "difficult" part cooperates and looks easy during the video or it misbehaves and becomes more difficult 😂😂

I always appreciated that the flying murder machine was the alt-mode of one of the friendliest and most accommodating Autobots.
I would really like a deluxe Hasbro version...with the plane based on the show rather than the Warthog.
The Warthog was always one of my favorite jets, but too big for PG in my opinion, and there's something awesome about the tiny plane he turned into in the show.
We will get a deluxe eventually since they are doing all the minibots.
To big for Powerglide? But he was based on it. Though, cartoon didn't always match up robot with alternate size. Look at Megatron.
Powerglide is a chibified representation of the Warthog so it's accurate
I’m using my DX9 for jet mode since it’s more show accurate and using FT for bot mode.

transforming that figure is a nightmare
FansToys always has amazing paint. Every figure of theirs I own has just the most eye-popping colors. If I liked Powerglide more I'd definitely be tempted to pick this figure up, he does look pretty great.
Just noticed the 'lack of firepower' thing in the bio. His alt mode is an A-10 'Warthog'. I dont think 'lack of firepower' and 'a10' are compatible 😂
Powerglide was pitiful for being a Warthog, NGL. Warpath, though, he did his Sheridan mode justice

Highly recommend G1 powerglide, he’s not too expensive or hard to come by on the secondary market. But to each their own
Man there is too many different shades of red in this figure. Once you see it you can’t unsee it.
Looks really good, shame they never used him in the bayverse movies.

I just want to shout out the complexity & ingenuity of the transformation - I’d like to know how long the engineering design process takes.
Recently got this figure and once again Emgo you saved me so much heart ache (becoming a habit now lol) with the transformation.
I have to say that I absolutely love this figure, Fans Toys really smashed it out the park with this one.
I know some will say the transformation of the legs are a mess but when it comes to 3rd Party figures it's actually really good.
As somebody who collects a lot of X-Transbots for my sins this transformation is a walk in the park

His jet mode looks super good! And for sure on a flight stand.
Warthog has gotten a lot of hate from other reviewers who are inpatient but once again Emgo shows us that with the right knowledge and patience that Warthog can be an enjoyable transformation.
Such an impressive change in proportions that the fiddle factor feels like a fair tradeoff. I do wish the lower legs were a bit sturdier in bot mode. The only visual qualm I have with either mode is that I wish the jet engines in alt mode had thrusters molded in rather than just solid red little cylinders where the exhaust should be. Even painting those cylinders silver or black would have helped
I especially love the way the arms completely collapse on themselves to turn into a single white block under the wings just like the G1 animation model
Its actually intuitive and smart. Its a but fiddly but how he mass-shifts is incredible. I kinda wish astro train and other not scale vehicle mps can follow this
Warthog is a super cool name for a transformer. Emgo316 is so cool and funny. The skits are so funny. 😂😂😂 emgo316 is so helpful. I love the colors on it and that's a cool weapon.

The rear is certainly too fiddly for my liking, but gosh, such a wonderful figure. And I love how the arms especially fold up to look maybe like a missile pod as opposed to just looking like an arm under the wing.

They missed an open goal by not having The Gun as his primary weapon in robot mode.
I wish the jet mode was more toon-accurate.

I bought DX9's back in December on the cheap thinking it will fill the void getting the job done. I couldn't resist the heft, paint, and size of FT's. If I can have 6 MP Primes, wth...two Power Glides is okay!
I like toys that mass shift. Like mp iron hide also .I wish someone do it also to Astro train or other TF that don't scale.

Weak knees.. no ratchets.. and mine had a wing panel unattached right out of the box..
he does look like he has alot of fragile clips and tabs that might not hold up over time. would that be fair to say?
I find it funny that FansToys mentioned the weird choice Hasbro made in Combiner Wars to make PowerGlide basically a sixth member of the Arial Bots as basically a Target Master for Surperion
It's funny that they gave him the affectionate name that his alternate mode has in real life
I'm good with my DX9. I actually like it better. The transformation is better too. This one doesn't look accurate in vehicle.

As far as articulation with the feet, you can just totally break his ankle ha ha. Powerglide got alien-probed. Warpath and Powerglide were my favorite minibots. Does he go BRRRRRRRT?
I don't collect masterpiece style figures but this one is tempting. Going to continue to wait for Hasbro to give us a new deluxe version
Every one of these FansToys videos makes me want to collect them but it would mean skipping collecting mainline.
Anyone a fan of vehicle scale (such as myself) will always be sour over how an A-10 Warthog is smaller than an FL84 Freightliner truck.

I have this figure, had a little 45 minutes time transforming it without reading instructions (everyone has his own challenges), but I noticed you've bad locked the main wings assembly on the parts : there's a light tabbed plate that should go up so the surface will be flat without holes ;) @20:53
What do you mean? Which hole?
@@pnhan99 when you look at the wings, there's a gap on the link part of the 2 wing parts (not the one you slide, the other end that goes on the external wing panel), but this is because the notch is not inserted the right way.
which mp seeker mold though, there's like 3 aren't there? the original mp11 the updated mp11 with improved lower body transformation and mp52

Wow, for those of you who collect, how do you keep track of how you transform these? I assume you keep the instructions close by.
I hate how the traded robot mode accuracy just to make the alt mode more realistic. Why did they do that with Warthog and Sheridan? With all the other minibots they've gone for a high level of toon accuracy in both modes.

The back half is also too long, making it look a mash up of an A-10 and a U2. Bot mode looks amazing though!
So...I must say, this is the most tedious transformation I've ever attempted, and I do mean attempted as I'm still, after a week or more? of trying off and on to get him into jet mode. This one, folks, is a humdinger. How doth one learn this by reading color-coded diagrams? I thought I had good shape recognition skills but gd. Maybe I'm impatient...need some good ambient music playing while I toy with the toy awhile. Perhaps something from a Theremin.
As of this writing I'm trying to assemble the rear sections of the fuselage - Merging the leg panels and shoving them into the body. I need more space for tab-slot connections, etc. The way three parts move in 3 dimensions & must together just so is a reason to praise the designers. Give them a small raise & reprimand - 'Good job on this, guys, you can do anything but don't do this again.'
hang in there springer ma boi ............helps on the way .........its a tough one but you'll get there i got mines to not have that gap in jet mode this toy is transfomer it one time and no moe !

To many panels visible on vehicle mode and i don't know if it is the camera but to many different shades of red and on robot mode when you have to un-tab a bunch of things to get the articulation you want is not good if you have the DX 9 version you don't need to get this one
you don't have to untab anything for articulation

As a kid I never wondered where he got a human heart. As an adult I really want to know. Is Prime aware that one of his soldiers is toting a human’s heart (and feasibly a supply of blood that must be continually refreshed to keep the tissue alive)? Autobots are looking a little sinister.
