The problem is that the closing price of the LR is completely different from the candle bar one, so the results you show are not true, how did you manage those diferences

Excellent Video @Trading Guru, just have one question. Sometimes everything is right, means, the Alerts comes for Sell, the candle also forms below the plot line, but it forms the Green Color and same happens for the Long positions. Why does that happen?

You can't really set SL and TP on LRC because they are kind of a representation of the volume for the actual candle. The way I do it, is say for a BUY signal, I enter several contracts(depending on your risk tolerance) then hold until a red candle appears(Unless I'm in the negative, then I hold). I then take off a position or 2(If in profit). I keep holding until the next red candle, taking another position or 2 off. I keep taking off as red candles appear. If I'm in a BUY and a SELL signal appears, I collapse the trade automatically. That's like my stop loss. Hope this helps!

Hi! This is because we use our linear regression candles as our candles for entry and price correspondence. We should only view the original candles to see the correlation between the two markets. The lin reg is there so that we can take the entry, and the original candles are for verification.
Nothing beats price action, it's king, after that a few indicators is good 👑
I agree that price action is very important. For all trading strategies, price action should always be implemented and prioritised. But price action does not always require an indicator.

Hi Sandra! My choice of timeframe will vary, depending upon which product I am trading. For the product I traded in this video, 5 minute worked best.
Also, I understand what you are saying about mixed signals per timeframe. Your price action analysis is important, just as much as the indicators' signals, but I recommend you always wait until the signals on each timeframe are closely correlated and are not showing opposites. I hope this has helped you to understand!

what is the total time period you used for 200 trades?
I’m a newbie in stock trading. I tested out this strategy in real time. I guess I got out of the trade just a little too early because the price decided to turn around and go up higher. From where do you take price to setup trade on exchange ? Is it current price on exchange or price took from measurement tool ?

I followed the setups exactly like in the video but when I change to another FX chart the screen is blank. Then I have to click on the eyeball for the pair and then the indicator shows up then I have to hide the original chart bc now I have them both on the screen.
You can move the linear regression candles to a window at the bottom of the chart .

This is a tradingview bug and only happens when an indicator is put on the chart that correlates to the original candles of the product. To get rid of this, refresh your page (F5) until it has been fixed. Or if you are on the mobile app, close the tradingview app, then close the tab and then restart your app. I hope this has helped!
Hi. great video. I find it difficult to trade these smoothed out charts because actual pricing is very different. Can you make a video using renko bars? They also are smoother but time is not part of the picture. just price. but entry and exit can be tricky and ranging choppy days can lose a lot. Settings in trading view? Other indicators? I think they have amazing potential but i cant figure them out. Thanks for all the great videos!

The linear regression candles are deceiving. Actual entries will not be anything like as good as how it looks on the linear regression candles chart. If you want to check that, just click on and off the actual candles on the chart and you will see that most entries when a buy or sell is generated are a lot worse than what you see on the linear regression chart.
Hi! I use the linear regression candles as entries to make it more clear for beginner trader. I believe that this indicator helps reduce market noise and thus, creating more confident entries. I will agree that the actual candles will be producing something different, and if you would rather use the actual chart for you entry prices, I believe that is also a good idea.

good, it's like in my Community
the stock market operated on traditional candlesticks. the sell or bay signal that UT Bot generates is in a completely different place in the price. The candles in this chart do not reflect the actual price. how to place orders then??? because often the profit is already much smaller or even non-existent.
Hi! You are correct, the linear regression candles correlate with the market, but are displayed as a different price on the chart. The indicator's purpose is to reduce market noise, and help the trader make effective entries. But despite the difference in price display, we should still use the linear regression candles as our entries, although they display a different price. This does mean that our entries may be quite late, and our exits may be late also. But the linear regression candles do help with accuracy, over the normal candles.

Real candles are different than linear reg candles...one big red candle can be shown by lin reg candle in 3 small red candles.....just you guys fooling the innocent/novice traders.
Hi Meil! I try my best to explain the strategies I make in my videos as best I can, for traders of all skill levels. Although the linear regression candles do not display the actual price of the original candles, we should still be using this structure to reduce the traders' stereotypical emotions like stress and anxiety and greed. I believe this strategy is good for beginners to understand the market at a starting level, but they will understand that the indicator explained in this video is not the actual price.

How to solve the different price between original price with linear regression price is different.
Hi! For this strategy, the linear regression candles are going to be used like they are normal candles. I understand that they are displaying a different price than that of a normal chart, but the linear regression candles will still be used for our entries.

Hi! With this strategy, just over 3 months.
Unfortunately one can not use the linear regression candles as entry points and risk reward positions. Instead of hiding the candles of the instrument, change the chart type to line to see where the price actually is. It is very different to the linear regression candles.
I turned the regression candles off. And used heiken ashi instead. Better results than the regression candles.

Of course! The algorithm used to produce the indicator is different- linear regression candles use a smooth moving average script, whereas the smoothed heikin ashi candles produces from an EMA script. I hope this helps.

Hi! When the candle is still open, a signal may be formed. But this does not confirm that it will close with that signal. Always wait for a valid confirmation of the strategy; it must meet all the requirements. If the requirements are met, we have to wait until the valid candle closes. I hope this helps you understand!

Bro.. candlestick type shown are heikinashi.. 1st real orders wont execute at hekinashi candle prices and 2nd heikinashi wont populate negative or positive candles opposite to trend, hence you cannot bktest real stoploss triggered.... just a note
Hi! I understand what you are trying to say, but we will still use the lin reg candles for our entries. I know that these candles do not represent the real market price, but we should still be using them as if they were the real price. If you would like to trade this strategy without the linear regression candles, that is completely fine. But please don't forget to do your own research and backtesting analysis before you head into some trades. Good luck!

looks great on the video, however, you cannot realistically measure the rissk reward on the linreg candles. The actual candles behind look far different. Seems to me that the UT bot is just an MA cross type signal.
Hi! I understand that the linear regression candles indicator is not corresponding to the actual price of the market. Besides this, we will still use this level for our entries, brackets and exits for this strategy. If you would not like to use the linear regression candles for this strategy, this is ok, but please do your own research before using it. I have not backtested this strategy without the linear regression candles.
I am testing this in a live market, it doesn't work the way you're explaining.... But, I have found a way to make it extremely profitable regardless

@@padsvj9255 Don't trade every signal, it's a losing strategy. Instead, mark out S/R zones on the chart and when price gets there.... then wait for a signal from the UT Bot, use the lin reg candles to stay in the trade as long as possible.

Hi! Any product with significant market participance can be used with this indicator. I understand that small cap stocks involve a lot of gaps in the market, as well as frequently low volume. I highly suggest using this strategy only on high volume products. I hope this has helped!

When backtesting using linear regression candles or HeikenAshi candles, the backtesting results are not correct because the candles do NOT represent the actual bid/ask/close prices but show averages. It makes your results completely false.
Hi! You are correct, the linear regression candles do not correspond to the actual price. But I still use the linear regression candles for my entries and for my brackets. I know that they are showing a different market price than the actual candles, but we still use the lin reg candles for this strategy.
My strategy results were not false, they were backtested with the linear regression candles however. If you have any other questions, feel free to message!

The problem is that is not real price the signal and price have 15 pips difference.

Hi! Backtesting is a term used in modeling to refer to testing a predictive model on historical data. No matter which way I do my 'backtesting', either from the back of the chart to the front, or the front to the back, I will still be 'backtesting the strategy'. I try to consistently backtest from the most recent structure of the product I am doing the strategy on, so users know the % profitability on the most recent historical data. It's no use for a trader to know the % profitability from 2017 for example. 2023 price action can be very different to past structure, so the most recent entries and exits are what my backtest will be done on!

price and linear regression candles are not the same i would not suggest using this in a live account as is
Linear regression candle have a +/_ 10 pip difference from the Heiken Ashi candles.
If you are going to use the Linear Regression candles for entries, the trade will enter the market 10 pips later than the Heiken Ashi or Japanese candlestick... Your entry will be 10 pips late.... However, the stop-loss and take profit levels are 100% accurate.
Linnear Regression candle are highly profitable when you replace the 11 period plot line with the 11 period EMA... You can confirm the direction of the trend with a 50 period EMA on the lower time frames or 200 period EMA on the higher time frames.... Use MACD and Stochastic RSI together (both) as added confirmation.

am using something as this for a long time/ ut bot..am using it on nas100 (its the only one i trade). ,2 or 3 minutes. it works perfect.ut bot works better than this one. and the linreg on a second screen. and i let the market go until i have enoug or it change from collor .or the utbot change from signal. sometimes the moves are 100 to 200 points.but you cant walk away.you must keep a look at the market. it can change in a second

Hi! I’m not a financial advisor, or consultant for proprietary trading.
This video is misleading and overstates the profit potential. This is because the LinReg Candles are always smaller than the actual candles, so actual buy price will be higher and sell price will be lower than what we see on the chart.

There is a 7 Minutes and 35 seconds delay in this indicator vs the live price. I tested this while taking trade on Binance for Eth/USDT on a 5 minutes chart. On the average, I was 3 candles behind after a Buy or Sell signal. The price and candles were delayed by 7mins35 seconds. I will carry on testing this with $100. But, if 2.3k people are liking this and we all follow these indicators then we can easily manipulate the market, that's what Whales do anyway.
this will most likely not be profitable especially how you drew your entries price and linear regression candles are not the same
Hi! When I do my videos, I try to be as accurate as I can with the verbal explanation, as well as the visual representation. I understand now that the entries are different on the linear regression candles, but that is still where we would have our entry, and we would still keep the same stop loss and take profit, even though the linear regression candles do not accurately correspond to the original chart. They are there for reducing market noise, but we would also use this indicator for our entries and brackets. I'm sorry if I was unclear in my video.

Hi! I understand that the linear regression candles are not the same price level at the real market, but these candles can still be used as our entry points. The lin reg does suffer from late entries, yes. But this does not mean we cannot use it as our entry level.
