I think this indicator suffers from the same things as many of its similar counterparts. It mistakes current momentum for past momentum. This causes most of the signals to be incorrect. In my back-testing I noticed that when comparing two signal types (most invalid and profitable) the most invalid type occurred significantly more often. Most Invalid in my definition is a signal that is given to buy at the high of a move or sell at the low. This signal type on this indicator occurs frequently because the indicator will look at 3-4 huge bars and then get you into the move. But the move happened already. We see the same problem with the Supertrend indicator where it takes a significant move to generate a signal and generally the first thing that happens after that move is a retracement, usually passed the stop loss.

Yup, it is by Invest Answers and it is called the ATR indicator. You have to sub monthly for it though.

How do you see when a stock is halted on trading view?
I have gone through ALL the 60+ videos and found them useful. But I am not able to choose the best. Please suggest.
I use this indicator sucessfuly for the past few months with two more indicators. My only frustration is the lack of allert functionality - as I am not a person that sits in front of the screens all day. If the developer can maybe add an allert on the dots of the signal line - that will be great.

Visualization Of The Indicator In This Video:
The short-term Xtrender is visualized as a histogram using green and red bars. Green bars indicate positive values, and red bars indicate negative values.
The short-term Xtrender value is smoothed using the T3 function, and the result is displayed as a thicker line with the color changing based on whether it's increasing (lime) or decreasing (red).
Circle markers are placed on the T3 line where the direction changes from increasing to decreasing (or vice versa).
The long-term Xtrender is visualized as a histogram with green and red bars, similar to the short-term version.

The problem we have is because Most people always taught that " you only need a good job to become rich " . These billionaires are operating on a whole other playbook that many don't even know exists.

Even with the right technique and assets some investors would still make more than others. As an investor, you should've known that by now that nothing beats experience and that's final. Personally I had to reach out to a stock expert for guidance which is how I was able to grow my account close to $35k, withdraw my profit right before the correction and now I'm buying again.

In shorting an asset, you're effectively committing to selling it at one price and then buying it after you've committed to the sale... So it nets-out to your benefit once the transaction is settled. In this example, you've committed to sell it for $82.50 to the broker/market-maker (or whomever is on the other side of the trade as the buyer) and then you close the trade by purchasing the asset for $82.10. (Target 1) So you'd make .40 cents per unit. The broker/market-maker is willing to enter the other side of the trade because a) perhaps they have a spread in place which guarantees them profit or b) they have a fixed price to enter and exit the position which guarantees them profit or c) they figure you'll lose the trade and have purchased (closed the position) the asset for more than you sold it for.
