I'm sure all of us are familiar with the mechanics of the classic MACD, it helps us identify potential trends by displaying crossovers between two lines. However, a common problem with this Indicator is that it only works on trending markets. And as we all know, markets aren't always trending, it can also move sideways or within a range
But what if I told you that there's a NEW version of the MACD indicator, that could also identify trends, but it could also eliminate false signals when the market is ranging.
And in this video, I'm going to reveal exactly what the indicator is, how it works and the different high win rate strategies that you can use with it.

Thank you for sharing this interesting new indicator: impulse MACD. In regards of the breakout signal, I think it is delayed too much. Any way to make it more sensitive and gives the signal earlier?
Change the MACD parameters and reduce their average values.
But this also adds up in reducing the overall efficiency as more number of false signals would be generated.
So do some trial and error in order to get the best results for your customized needs.

I use macd histogram, rsi crossover, bollinger bands, vwap and for breakouts and price action i use volume per candle, time&sales, level2.

Great info and training around the Impulse MACD on Tradingview. The question I have is this. Will you do training for MT4 and using the Impulse MACD that's out there? Settings are very different and what one sees is very different on the MT4 platforms than on Tradingview. Thanks much,

Can you share your backtesting result on 1st strategy ?
I would argue that instead of fixed OB/OS lines you could potentially use multiplied ATR or standard deviation to get dynamic levels from the zero-line.

What I do which is very effective is by simply adding RSI and edit to(80-20)..so RSI(80-20) represents over-bought and over-sold! Thanks for the video!

it works on any timeframe. But, you would need to constantlv adiust the levels every time you switch timeframes, depending on what you choose

Many thanks for this useful video. The ideal way to use this indicator would be programming an average of maximun extend of the IMACD on both sides of the zero level. If only I knew how to do it.

How do you screen for stocks that work well with this strategy. It seems effective but this is kinda of like going panning for gold and you're telling us to pick up the gold nugget when you we it. Question is, where do you find this gold to begin with?
