Hello! I am trading for a while and for the past year I have watched a lot of tutorials on RUclips
with different ideas and strategies. I bought a few trading courses as well and during the span of 6 months I doubled my account. But this tutorial is by far the best I have ever seen and tested. In a span of 4 hours I made 522 points trading wall street 30!!! I will try it again tomorrow and Friday and see how things go. But in my opinion this tutorial is absolutely amazing!

gave this a shot on a live account. I can say it does not work unless you catch big moves. also, candles don't represent the actual price, so even tho is seems like its moving in your direction, it in fact isn't.
the backtesting is done wrong. You're taking the LinReg Candle as entry and exit instead of the real candle close to enter. Just did the backtesting myself, you don't get this high winrate with such high %.

Also, he's using HA-candles, they never give the exact entry based on the candle itself.
For this, you must mark the entry HA-candle with a line, then switch to regular candle to approximate entry.
With these things in mind, when you backtest you'll see the high winrate is misleading.

@@PatrikBerisha You are right, but the thing is that 1 minute can change so fast the entry and hit SL often. Will be great the settings of the indicators using 15 minutes candle.

Pretty neat strategy. Only issue is the actual price is not what you are trading. You are trading the generated candle pattern from the LinReg Indicator. (Actual price will hit SL and provide less RisktoReward.)

True, my entry and stop loss i prefer to change it to the normal candle to see where is the real price. I need to do that to have the real position size calculator. I dont know if somebody agree with me.
Like I do is before put the position I change the graphic to the regular candle to see where really the price is, and with that information I can know my risk (difference between my sl and my entry). Doing that I know my lot to use.
He should backtest it on the real candles.

My friend... as u see in the chart, before changing settings to the lin reg candles, the real candles below are way far the candles of the indicator. This means that you are gonna hit stoploss more times that reaching profit. Try to make a full hour video of live trading with this indicator, please. And we will see who is right.
Unchecking the LinReg from the input & the LinReg Candles from the Style - keeping only the Plot checked is good to go with the Strategy - pls friends check and comment how you feel 🙂

I dont see how thats possible with these kinds of candles. Unless you are trading the real candles, using linear regression candles and UT bot as your entry signal

Couple this with a standard MACD.I use this with the micro e-mini futures...currently 8 winning trades with 1 break even.

The entry price and exit price never comes if you compare this with normal candles
on trading view time 3 min.and 5 min timefram on our trading platfarm. good result.

His backtest is not valid at all, he's using LinReg candles
Added a SuperTrended Moving Average indicator to eliminate bad trades - the size of the "cloud" shows trend strength.
I generally like your vids - they are great for getting new ideas. But you c'ant backtest regression candles, manually. If one compares it with the real price fluctuations the outcome is different

I also cocur with the other comments, it is absolute BS you cannot backtest linear reg candles. They must be true candles to reflect the actual price open/close.
One could display actual price by changing the price style to "line" and show.

What are settings for 15 minutes?
Backtesting is easy, I suspect signals are lagging (may be 2-3 candles) so performance will be less amazing
Linear Candle i use single smoothing 10 and LR length 20 gives best with super trend 14 - 2 settings.
Yes i concur, i use this on heiken as well to act as confirmation for the entry on real candle in combination with my own strategy. Works best during london and NY market for me.

You shouldn't use HA or lin reg candles in backtesting. They do not show actual price. Do you even trade?
Never used Trading View but you are trading the Linear Regression Candles which are extrapolated and not the real candles so your claimed backtest is fake and you must know that

Yeah it definitely is the candles are faulty and the sell signal might looked like an early entry but is not is bad
Also the UT Bot on Tradingview is coded in a way that it basically looks into the future. It doesn't work live.

To make sure that you do not miss the buy and sell signals, you can change their colors, for example, buy signal in blue and sell signal in yellow.
To make it properly visible simply change the buy sell Signals settings from Absolute to below and above ...

This would work perfectly if the broker that u uses has the same price points as TradingView. The price is too far off
I was thinking the same thing but in reality it doesn't matter what tradingview price is because your broker and that chart move exactly the same so just go with the price of your broker pay no attention to the trading view price when it turns over changing directions enter your sell or buy trade and when it does the same thing again close your trade just totally ignore the price from tradingview it remove it they move the same as your broker. Now I've tested this many a times for almost a month and depending on time frame you're using the price will be way far away from the candle until it closes so on higher time frames it's very difficult but go ahead and try that on your demo account of course running for a week or two
I find the 15-min time frame works the best for me

Price not start at candle start with HeikinAshi, so all backtest wrong!
good strategy, however the real-time signals are not as clear as they appear on the historical chart

I think this indicator Is not suitable for lower tf cuz the price is not accurate, i use it for higher tf.
I have my volume all the way up..I can barely hear this ..please fix it ..

Also wenn man die normalen Candles drüber legt, sieht man wo die Preise wirklich sind und waren, zum Zeitpunkt des Signales. Es wärte auch zu schön gewesen.

As you can't enter on the Linreg candles as the real price isn't the same
Now do it with the chart on replay with you entering the trades as the signals come up. You had the chart already played out and just drew the trades in over it, that's not realistic. You could do that with just EMAs and never lose.

Also, backrest during your actual trading hours. No one is trading 24 hours.

not bad strategy but results are completely fake, winrate is wrong and profit definetly wrong, the candles you use dont have any similarity with real price data and theres a huge difference in entry and exit with real pricecandles
and even when you dont use the linear candles, heikin ashi price data is still false

You disabled the regular candles and place your entries with the lingreg but they don´t match, so it´s a limit order what you would place and when is reached will be filled? Otherwise wouldn´t make sense right?

you could always enter by market price. yeah its less profitable but at least you will enter 100%. the indicator shows you general direction and TIME when to enter , not the price. The price of your entry will depend on your luck

I have a bot that does that. It's not as good as it sounds, at least as far as I've tried it. In forex it is complicated. The trends are not so clean.
Why the trading view doesnt look the same like my chart from PO?i mean the candles from trading view are going up and my candles from PO are going down..why
He seems to stay in the trade until there is a candle opposing the trend. The works out to a different risk:reward every trade.
Usually you're placing the stop at the last Swing low or high, possibly adding some for ATR, then only if your reward is say 2:1 or greater to the next KEY price level / zone, you take the trade. Price levels zones aren't mentioned. The Risk:Reward is only determined once the trade has played out. What am I missing?

This indicator like most of them only works if a market is trending. Also, the UT Bot repaints itself, which means you need to deploy an additional indicator for confirmation.

You are entering at the BUY/SELL signal…..but how can I set my stop loss without having the future times happening yet?
For example. You set the S/L at when the candle changes. On a LONG position how do I set the S/L of when the candle changes if it hasn’t happened yet?

How do you make it so the Linreg candles aren't delayed so much
One idea to get a better return might be to close 50% of the position at the first opposite candle. Then wait for a couple more. You will likely still be in profit for that long, but if the trend resumes the original direction you still have a better chance to make more.
