Linear regression candle indicators can have incredibly inaccurate entries and exits when being used on live candles.

so this strategy does work but ive modified a little but i put the linear regression in a seperate panel below the candle chart so i can actually see where the price is. If the price jumps too much to trigger the alert then i wait for it to retrace a little. Also the other thing is if you are in a strong trend trading against it without cause is also asking for trouble The other thing i love about the video is trading during the appropriate market window for what your trading. You are going to get your lunch handed to you if you trade outside that window with a lot of false signals which goes for any other strategy. I use it on 15 minute usdcad chart and it works pretty well. I also like using linear regression to show when trends are getting weaker and may flip. its really helpful for that.

Crazy but it does work! Tested it today and made something decent. Made some early entries when UT Bot signal showed up but i realized it pays to be really patient and wait for price to close under the Linear Regression Plot line. If you don't you would soon find out you are in heavy drawdown. Key is to Wait and confirm the move before taking a position. Thanks Mo. Awesome stuff

One thing to note: The actual candles (the wicks and body) isn't taken into account during the backtest. Where the UT buy/sell signal is given, the actual candles (not the regression candles) are usually a couple of pips above or below the regression candles. If you would turn the wicks and body on, you would be able to see this.
So backtesting this strategy with regression candles and real candles being turned on would lose money over a number of trades. If forex was only this easy.

Correct! Still a decent plan, but the regression candles give a different proit/loss.

Just use the Supertrend indicator to verify the UT Bot signal. (instead of Lin.Reg candles)

And therefore, this strategy doesn't work in real life trading.. A real market price would be way different from price showing for LinReg Candles.. Wasted my time again..
I like trading the 15 minute time frame. I traded UT bots on the 15 minutes and found that it works just fine. Sometimes price closes above or below the 50 moving average line several times but the trade continues in the right direction for a long time. I closed several trades too early and missed out on big profits. Its a dilemma whether to hold on to trades or not.

Such a let down. Trading this on demo account tonight and won 3 trades for a total of 7.1% but when I actually checked the real candles I was at -2.6%!!!!

iv noticed if you flick the body candles on and off every now and then you can get a more accurate reading as well as the time goes by
I've seen numerous other videos utilizing linear regression candles for entries and exits and they are all flawed, same as this one. Linear regression candles do not reflect the real prices, so you can't calculate the profit and loss based on the linear regression candles. To determine REAL results, you'd have to utilize the linear regression candles as merely entry / exit signals and use real candles for the actual entries and exits profit calculations.

Agreed, what I’ve found what works best with ut bots is put a hull suite with it, when color changes on hull suite and once you a get a buy or sell signal use 1:5 risk reward on 1 hr time frame.

best ut bot time frame, key value 3, atr period 10, for five minute chart, it's amazing work, but patience is most important this strategy, wait for right trade, 1 ya 2 trade is loose, don't panic wait for big volume trade, and risk management also important this strategy, don't risk more than 2 percent your capital per trade
Continue, you trade on forex, stop loss order don't take under 5 pips
Yes and here starts the problem again. When you show a buy or a sell signal, it's way more below or above that candle because they are different candles then the original ones. so the ratio that you are showing us with those examples are wrong.
Hey tradesbymo I wanted to just say this strategy does work and very effective. No indicator is perfect. As far as the delay or not accurate in the price of the market is not a big deal. Every trader I know has two monitors to trade on so I don’t see the issue here. The ut bot with regression is a good reference to market trend with entry exit and stop. Keep up with the good work and don’t pay attention to foolishness pointed out by simple minded people.

Don’t believe all of these posts guys. Be honest now, If you had a system that gives amazing results would you really be sharing it on social media just to get a few quid 😂. If I had designed a system/strategy that was so successful I would be compounding my trades every week and be a multi millionaire in no time. If things sound too good to be true they usually are. I have a question: The LinReg Candles are not directly on the market but a bit lower. So, when a buy/sell signal occurs, do you have to buy further down, regardless of the current market situation? Is that even possible ?
on some trade it performs amazing. on same its just sluggish. you can take it for his word.

Wait for the candle to close and if you are using alerts to automate it, change the it bot alerts code to only send the alert once the candle is closed

Ut bot works based on the closing over/under the ma. Used in context it has confirmation value

You're taking the % of profit from the reg.candles. This is wrong and can damage peoples wallet.

The actual price of the asset will be higher or lower than where the linear regression candle closes so this video makes 0 sense. Your entries would not be at the price where the linear regression candle closes....
How do we know you actually made these trades? Could not be so hard to record a live session, and everyone claiming using a strategy with such massive gains never ever shows them live, instead they show a chart and just show what maybe could be the trade have been. In a month more than doubling your money means you will start with $1,000 and be a millionaire within 10 months. So yeah I don't know and professional daytrader with such gains, but your video says "just do it and you will be a millionaire within a year with around half an hour work every day". Sorry man but that is irresponsible since you do not say anything about the risks and do not prove that you actually made these trades instead of picking good trades while putting in some bad ones to not look too good. Do a live record actually using it and show how it goes while being absolutly honest

How can you set your TP on future candles that haven't even happened yet? Also, summing the R:R is nonsense. It is the average of the R:R corrected to the volume that matters.
A trailing stop, you enter the trade, set a SL price and leave the take profit open.
When the indicators tell you to exit, exit manually.
Why don't you open a live account with a broker and actually trade? Don't use FX replay or delay indicators. During real-time trading, you will never get an R:R ratio as well as the simulation.
On my MT5 account I use TheTradingFloor's EA to get a perfect RR based on where I drag my stop loss for entry, enter the exact amount you want to risk too. Great piece of software for trading.

No. This one is nonsense. You can't use linear regression candles for backtesting. They don't show the real prices.
One very important thing you missed! How did you pick stock for this strategy? Stock moving side way not really good, also I think with high volume stock with lower float pop and drop quick not much profit on 5min usually, so without a good stock selection this strategy will not work! Can you make a video or add somehow how you choose stock please? Thanks
it's a very frivolous video. I think you know the situation but you are deliberately ignoring it to gain followers. The opening and closing of real candles and regression candles are very different and your back test is completely nonsense. Don't mislead people to gain 3-5 viewers

If you know how to code in PineScript then you could add your own alert in the it bot alerts script
There are programmers that will do this for you in Pinescript…for a cost.
Can someone please help me with my problem? the price on the "UT Bot" chart (1 Minute) is always about one to two minutes behind the current real-time price ! This means I miss important entry and exit points, how can that be ?

Google 'trading sessions'. Can see graphs of when different trading sessions around the world open, this effects the price and market volume and trading outside of sessions usually means consolidation, which means stoploss, stoploss, stoploss

UTBot is a repainting indicator. This has been tested as a bot ...it loses money in reality !!
From the candle close and after, doesn’t repaints.Never.
@@KNIGHTTEMPLAR555 Correct, i watched it live and it does not repaint. The only time the indicator would disappear is on the current candle thats being calculatedbecause it isnt closed yet but once its closed it wont change
