There's one major problem with this. After two weeks of back-testing and live-testing, I discovered that this indicator on the Tradingview Bar Replay does not match actual indicator triggers. In most cases, the replay bar will show you that the price is moving from Bearish to Bullish (or vice versa) many candles sooner than in real life/real time. Backtesting this indicator using the bar replay gives false results 100% of the time. I'm trying to figure out why this is.
Someone brought this to my attention as well. Truth be told, I never really tested the combination of using HTF price inputs in bar-replay mode. I do know that Pinescript is a bit weird in how it presents data in replay-mode vs real-time charts (things I've learned in the 18 months since I last published any updates to that indicator).
I'll pop a mental note to take another pass at it and look at possibly refactoring it to take advantage of some newer Pinescript features, and maybe break it into 2 different versions (one for normal charts like line/candle, and another for alternate charts like HA charts - I had to make some compromises in how some of the data was prepped for this to work consistently on both chart types).
Do note that I'm pretty slammed with my day-job, so it'll probably be a few months before I really get a chance to take a deeper review!

I wish i learnt most of these principles about seven years ago. A lot of people have been trapped strongly in the matrix-- Go to school, get a job, and then slave your whole life. Many miss out on life-changing information that could have great effect on their finances. I played with the stock market sometime in 2020, and I was surprised at how well it turned out. I want to put in $90k more into the market. I heard people are making really great returns despite the downturn. Any recommendation?

Ichimoku trader is using 4H chart as trend direction--& entry on 15 minute price action. However if on daily chart price is above the cloud, & on 4H chart price is below the cloud. WHICH DIRECTION SHOULD TRADER BE TRADING? Trader holds positions for 3-5 days & IS NOT A DAY TRADER. 4H trend is not going to flip on A dime.Would anyone trade against daily trend & go in direction of 4H trend when entering on 15M price action turning around to conform to 4H trend?
