Pakistan's domestic issues are concerning. TLP is essentially running amok in Punjab, TTP is going to resume their guerilla warfare. Pakistani Govt power is waning, the Govt is running out of money and is unable to pay salaries. This destabilization woes spells bad news for nukes.

Thus Pakistani establishment and ISI always have to balance their operations. Neither can they obliterate them completely nor can they let them loose. And they are in a fix.
Even in Kashmir had their not been pakistani help Indian army would have obliterated insurgency at least 2 decades back. Yet pakistanis can't obliterate insurgents in KPK.

A good presentation as to how matters unfold at a physical level -
My two bit is purely an academic observation. I reserve the right to be wrong.
The crux of the problem is the mix of religious methods with law - telling people (more importantly women) how to behave and dress etc… This is completely against the principles of individual freedom, the right of every individual, and democracy. Who decides what is good for the people irrespective of religion? How can a few armed outfits be allowed to hijack a society?
Tailpiece: Is discussing individual freedom a tirade against a religion or political outfits? Humanity needs to discuss these aspects at the abstract levels. The intellect has to be addressed. Or, is this what is known as prodding a hornet’s nest?
