20 students killed. my heart goes out to their parents plight of losing their children at such young age.

your last statement on Haqqani group is incorrect. This group is driven by Jala-ud-din haqqani and his son Siraj-ud-din Haqqani. The group of loyals to both of them are called Haqqanis. Sami-ul-haq was only got famous as he ran Madrassa where top leadership of Taliban studied.

And these things happened long time back in the 1980s. That war for over in 1989. Why the problem is still going on? Look at Vietnam. It has returned to peace but Afghanistan is still on the boil.
The main problem of Afghanistan is the tribal disharmony and they can't agree on single point agenda for the prosperity of the country and that is why other countries find it very easy to interrupt in their country. Unless the Afghan themselves agree to carry forward their own country, the mess would definitely go on like this without any abatement

Mr.Gupta, Please don't twist the facts that India has a border with Afghanistan at Wakhan Corridor, in Gilgit Baltistan, India dreams to have a border with Afghanistan but it never will, Gilgit-Baltistan is an integral part of Pakistan as it's people, with their free will joined Pakistan on 1st November, 1947. No bullets were fired, no blood was shed and now with the will of God, it will officially become Pakistan's 5th province. Indian guests can get Pakistan's visa and visit Gilgit-Baltistan, they sure will like the beauty of the area and it's people's hospitality. Peace!
