EAM has done exceptional job during COVID and Russia-Ukraine war when world wanted to put sanctions on India for buying Russian oil. People in India do no realize that if we had stopped buying oil from Russia or was under US sanctions then inflation on essential goods would have been 2-3x. I was travelling in US and saw people queuing in their car outside food bank for free groceries. These are people who work but cost of milk, meat and breakfast food had increased so much that they could not afford food! Even today price of food has not reached pre-COVID era in many US cities.

When it comes to digital payment Germany is still in the Stoneage. Many stores still doesnt except card and on farmers market you can forget about it if you dont have cash with you. Opinion of many people here " Bares ist Wahres" If i must say thanks to Corona, the card payment is increasing as compare to before corona pandemic. Majority of the famous Dönner Kababs fast food accept ONLY cash :(

Both India & Germany are aspirants for the UN Security Council reform. India with its sheer size and population will at some point dwarf Germany in most of the sectors. Hence, it makes absolute sense to become steadfast partners.

It was a radical and inconsiderate political decision which will cost Germany, and by extension the EU, dearly. As for India, yes it created a lot of universities over night, however, quantity was prioritized over quality. Western companies hire Indian engineers not because they're good (even though some of them are, of course) but because they're inexpensive. Hopefully India can improve the quality of its universities in the near future.
