well the films we use for this sort of application now are known as - pressure activated adhesive with air release channels- Definately alot easier to work with, the channels allow the air to flow out from under the film, the higher quality films are almost perfet once post heated, and the pressure activated adhessive allows you to slide the film and lift and move it around as you saw CK Wraps do.
Hey guys, wanted to leave a few notes. 1. The camera makes the wrap look a different color than in person. Its more gray in person. Not sure why it looks so blue on film? 2. The price of wraps vary based on size of the car, intricacy of the body shape, type of material (chrome/patterns/just color), and how much of the car is going to be disassembled, and if its a full wrap or just the side of a work van, for example. Most wraps cost between $800 up to $6,000. So discuss the variables with your installer. 3. After 2 weeks, the wrap still looks brand new and I have no complaints. This video was about the "process", so I (we) could understand more about what it takes to install and decide if its something we would want on our cars or not. 4. You can do everything (almost) you would do to uncovered paint, including light light compound/polishing. (More videos to come) 5. Maintenance is exactly the same as uncovered paint. (Again, video coming) 6. And remember, this can be removed in 30 minutes. So it was a fun experiment and video series. Hope you find this video as interesting as I did when I watched him work and explain his techniques. Thx for watching as always!
AMMO NYC Congratulations on the collaboration I followed both of you for quite some time seeing you both work together create some great content and learning experience I work in a vinyl shop I know how hard it is to work with sometimes looking forward to seeing you work together again
The bluer look could be due uncalibrated monitors. Uncalibrated TVs almost always have a blue push, as it makes the image appear brighter. I assume an uncalibrated LED monitor would do the same.
Enzo Ardente yes, to get complete coverage it helps tremendously to remove as much as possible. It also makes wrapping much easier since you won't need to work around awkward parts

@@MommaBearsCorner I think you missed the point. Wrapping is cheaper compared to a repaint. When you end up not liking the wrap is is way easier to go back to the original colour compared to a repaint. You can just remove the wrap instead of having to paint the car again

SO TRUE. Literally 90% of wraps are utter shit. You should even clay bar a car to ensure it is dead flat before wrapping. THIS guy shows how an actual quality wrap is done. It is painstaking.
The part where he uses the WrapStick to tuck the edge, and THEN, when he slices the excess?! Oh my god, I need a cigarette. Forget it. Issa Nesheiwat full quality installation is anything from £1000 for a smart car to £10000 for a larger more difficult job. Labour included, not just the material cost obviously.

Yiannimize doesn't do toutorial videos so the steps aren't shown as in-depth as this. They pretty much do as good as a job, if not better, because of the manpower
Ya I wouldn't say Yiannimize doesn't take these steps. They just don't show much prep in the videos. I'm sure they wouldn't be dealing with continuous high end customers if they didn't take the proper necessary steps when it comes to vehicle wrapping.
SO TRUE. Literally 90% of wraps are utter shit. You should even clay bar a car to ensure it is dead flat before wrapping. THIS guy shows how an actual quality wrap is done. It is painstaking.
Yiannimize shows car wrapping, not how to wrap a car
I'm really not into cars being wrapped, but that looks very nice....in fact....SICK!!!!! NICE JOB!!!
The part where he uses the WrapStick to tuck the edge, and THEN, when he slices the excess?! Oh my god, I need a cigarette. Forget it. And don't think for one second I didn't admire Larry swoppin' around that fatass detail brush, just Picasso'ing the INSIDE of the bumpers?! This video is out of control.
The consistent quality of information in your videos astounds me..
"If you don't like it, you can just rip it off"
NOT IF I DON'T WANT TO WASTE $5,000 lol
mugdays my dad worked a Porsche and someone had got a 911 turbo and got a wrap and ripped it off 2 weeks later, 10-15 grand down the drain if not more
People do pay this mich to get their car wrapped? The Material ist At the very lost like 500 and experiecened duded wohnt take more then to days , making this 2k a day so like 200/h if you already have the tools:
Wtf
Beyond the $$ cost, the Car is also out of commission for AT LEAST two days. Three in this case. 🥴
I like doing the overlay color on top of vinyl lettering, never seen it done on a car before, but I have done it a few times on motorcycles and interior signage. Great skill!
How much did all that wrap cost?
Issa Nesheiwat full quality installation is anything from £1000 for a smart car to £10000 for a larger more difficult job. Labour included, not just the material cost obviously.
Issa Nesheiwat yes it can range normally from partial wrap about $800 to full coverage including door shoots and returns in high cost finishes such as chrome for over $10,000
2 nice guys demonstrating craftsmanship! Easy to watch! Thank you.
I dare you to wrap a Ferrari 512tr
Done a few ferraris, Pain in the ass !! vadly fitted panels on everyone, Mercs are way better
matthew roderique look at a picture of the 512tr and you’ll understand what I’m saying
that would actally be quite easy, flatish panels every where,
Started tapping my hands on my desk like a child thats seen food when i saw the finished product at the end. Phenomenal!!
Christian is the man! Love his Channel. Keep up the great work guys!
The amount of work and dedication in each video you post... Thanks Larry

Amazing video! I like the way you show us these little tricks and not just film a professional do it!
Love the new colour! Looks amazing with the met red calipers and polished wheels! Understated but way cool!
Better than the original colour? I think yes!!!
