Who in their lifetime is good on Earth
Will become an angel after death
You look to the sky and ask
    Why can't you see them
Only once the clouds have gone to sleep
Can you see us in the sky
    We are afraid and alone
Because God knows I don't want to be an angel
    They live behind the sunshine
    Separated from us, infinitely far
They must cling to the stars (Very tightly)
So they don't fall from the sky
Only once the clouds have gone to sleep
Can you see us in the sky

    • @HontoNeet
      @HontoNeet 12 дней назад +6

Apparently he learned all that stuff in the first place because he had stage fright, felt awkward, didn't know where to look or what to do with his hands, so the pyrotechnics were a way for him to have something to do while singing that would add to the performance

Rammstein is probably the best metal band to see at least one time in your life live. I went many times, always the same "woaw", each song is a banger on stage, because of lights, pyro, fx. Sometimes fun or creepy or both. Last time was last summer in Spain, with some crazy heavy rain since the morning we waited, i've never been so much wet in my whole life, but it added some magic to the show.

Rammstein are considered ‘industrial techno metal’ or Neue Deutsche Härte which translates as “new German hardness”. To see Rammstein live is indescribable. It’s a total immersive experience. Their pyrotechnics are amazing as you can see in the video, but to be there is next level. Been a huge fan since the 90’s. Also recommend Rosenrot, Sonne and Mein Tell. Rammstein: "we're going to play Engel."
    Venue: "which one is that?"
Rammstein: "That's the one without a lot of flames"
Venue: "doesn't your lead singer have giant wings with flames coming out of the ends surrounded by flame fountains and fireworks?"
Rammstein: "yes, it's one of our more restrained pyrotechnics displays. We decided we didn't want to go too overboard with this one."

“Engel” is a song from Rammstein’s 2nd album “Sehnsucht” (1997). This song was the first commercial success in Germany - the first album "Herzeleid" (1995) remained musically quite unnoticed by the public until then. After that it was a steep climb - with the usual ups and downs.
I also like “Engel” and especially because of the whistling. It fits perfectly. And it's risky - a lot of people don't like whistling in songs.
You also like this whistling sound (besides the song) - that's why I recommend another song with exactly this special feature (whistling). It's by DREAMCATCHER - a Korean group with a clear hard rock influence (of course not comparable to Rammstein). Very worth listening to and seeing: “Piri” (official Dreamcatcher MV).
This group (which I would classify as an alternative in the broadest sense) has been around for over 7 years now and is fantastic. If you are interested, the last publication “Justice” is also recommended. Anyway - thanks for the Rammstein reaction. And greeting from Germany.

Brother, you NEED to watch “Keine lust” the official video, it’s hilarious, and “Mein Teil ” in a live performance!

For more videos with the fun twist, also do "Dicke Titten", "Zick Zack" and (my favorite) "Mein Land"

I think you’d enjoy watching the Rammstein, Mein Teil live performance. It’s a dark subject that is 100% true, but the show they put on for that song is incredible. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing them live and out of the hundreds of bands I’ve seen, they top them all for live performances

    Great reaction!
This genre of rock music that Rammstein is master is called industry metal, where it's very common to borrow elements from the synth music, that was a thing at the 1980's and early 90's. Some bands also borrow elements from the hip hop scene aswell as several others away from metal.

🔥TY for another great Rammstein reaction ! 😊..... Love seeing people experiencing their first listen/watching Rammstein songs....well at least people who are liking the music ..some can't seem to relax and enjoy the music because they don't know what they are saying...and just kind of ..keep asking the camera..'what are they saying?' the whole reaction.... and it.. feels ..like a forced reaction somehow... You are an excellent reactor! ...such genuine joy and curiosity (sometimes awe❤) and not just with Rammstein but other bands too.... it's very engaging 💯... Peace & Love 🤘💜

You have to listen to Ich Tu Dir Weh live at Madison Square Garden next. It will go on your playlist for sure and that riff and chorus will haunt you for weeks.

Rammstein caused people to rethink things back in late 1990's.
Engel song was published on Sehnsucht ("Desire") album back in 1997, and just like it's predecessor album Herzeleid ("Heartbreak", 1995), album combined 1990's techno/dance music themes with slightly heavier guitar riffs.
When you look up song lyrics from first two albums, you understand why some people thought Rammstein were making fun out of popular techno/dance music of it's time. Beside regular "I love your baby" style lyrics, there is song about baby smelling good (on Herzleid album) and other song where lyrics go through wedding ceremony dialogue (on Sehnsucht album).
Still Rammstein influenced a lot of bands late 1990's and early 2000's, specially after Live Aus Berlin 1998 was released.
Entire stage show is to give non-German speaking audience something to see for tickets.

Not really my thing but heard a song I have never heard before. The whistling reminds me of RUN RABBIT from house of 1000 corpses.

Rammstein are one of the best live performers I've seen. You should try to get your hands on their Paris show in 2012 I believe. Amazing! If I remember correctly your reaction for Du Hast was from that show. If you get your hands on it be prepare for anything. Their "Bück dich" performance was quite memorable

"The Zoo" will alter your brain chemistry
    "Blackout" will melt your face
"Bad Boys Running Wild" will hype you up
"Coming Home" will sit your ass back down

Each to their own. They don't match the same heaviness of Rammstein for me.
