One true MERCEDES BENZ's fan here but after having the all new CX-5 for a week now I gotta say the soundproof, comfortness and the feel of luxury of the car are almost the same as my S class 2015 I have to admit.

Agree with you on interior colour should have been anything but black. Looks so dark and dingy. My neighbour has a 2017 mazda 3 in soul red with white leather just so awe inspiring. According to contrary belief, white will get dirty - his still looks new and he has 2 toddlers on tow. Give me white/beige/brown leather anytime of the day.
They should have include peddle shifter and it’s very useful when going uphill. Quality issues on the centre console whereby it’s less solidly mounted in which you can use your knee to push it sideways. The worst should be the istop panel which is so flimsy and badly engineered.
The new Mazda 3 and CX-30 have a better 360 camera. I also wonder why Mazda doesn’t upgrade the current models. My CX-5 has «only» a rear camera but with good quality.
In Thailand, the top spec CX-5 still have CD players because Thai people still use a lot of CDs.
I love the power of the new turbo motor. Have a look at my 2015 CX-5 AWD GT performance on pure icy surface in Canada. The AWD is awesome.
Im agree with the low quality of 360 camera.
I like your channel very much . However I want to tell all automotive
commentators to test the safety level, comfort level and cabin noise
level of a car. We are not racer but we do enjoy racing test and
extreme acceleration but extreme test drive is dangerous to yourself
and other drivers might imitate on the road. This can cause great danger to other
road users. We dont want to
know how fast a car can reach 100 km/h or some other extreme test drive
. I hope sir can provide us data about safety, comfort and cabin

I'd happily take the NA. Not sure if owning the Turbo is worth the inevitable higher fuel bill.

There is still some people using CD player. CD player makes the songs even nicer to listen compare to bluetooth.
When you switch your spotify to the highest quality setting, CDs can't fight. And it also depends on the head unit of the CD player
@@BobbyAngmalaysia if I set to the highest quality, that's mean I have to pay for premium right? I tried, and the highest setting I can is "High" not the "very high".

I never like the rims on this Cx-5 as they looked rather small. Would be much better if can spec the cx8 rims on it.

Last year was deciding between passat b8, tiguan or the cx5. Chose the b8 because eof the power. If this was out, for sure will get this one

I don’t miss the paddle shifters. I seldom used them on our Mazda 3 and I seldom use the manual mode with the CX-5 Diesel.

Bobby, between Mazda cx-5turbo n Hyundai santa Fe which will you recommend.
If you need 7 seat, then go for Santa Fe. If you don't need 7 seat, then go for Mazda CX-5.
CX-5 2.5 Turbo equipment list is way higher than 2.2 Diesel Santa Fe. You also get more power, better handling, and more premium interior quality from the CX-5.
Santafe the best choice.. Comfortable, economical, cool, strong. Mazda? only sell good class material where you also get it at Santafe.
@@adiwinata79 tbh santa fe doesnt feel that premium on the inside been into one during a hyundau road show the soft materials used just doesnt feel as plush as the ones in the cx5

Mr Bobby, compared to the tiguan 1.4 turbo?
Tiguan's handling is sharp but the grippy type, not the flowy type. The CX5's handling is the type that seems it just flows through the corner instead of the Tiguan type where it seems the car just hang on to the corners. For certain drivers, the Tiguan's handling might be more accessible and easier to drive fast. Tiguan's biggest drawback compared to this is the DSG's slow response from stationary to kick down. And of course the CX5 turbo is much faster.
It may have more torque than the N55 but does it turn and twist like one. I own both BMW N55 and Mazda CX-5 by the way.

How about mazda maintenance cost?
Starting from Jan 2019, all newly bought Mazda vehicles come with 5 years or 100,000km (whichever comes 1st) free maintenance service.
