    Amnesia was the common cold of film noir! Or did Eddie Muller note that already? Even that great scriptwriter Wm Shakespeare didn't attempt it. You know if he didn't, it's probably not a good idea! I liked this film ehen I saw it this year on YT: so great to see shots of my city, LA. Union Station hasn't changed. 😎

      It's never believable because it's always so convenient. Someone just happens to lose just the information needed to solve a crime.

      Kino Lorber has it on Blu Ray. It's expensive, though, because it's out of print.

      ​​@@maartenlemmens8628 I can definitely second that. I own the Kino Lorber blu ray, which is now out of print. The disc has no extra features (unless you consider some trailers of other films "extra features"), is a basic 1080 scan, and doesn't have subtitles. It would definitely be nice to have a re-issue of the film in 4K with some basic features like subtitles.
