These Batman trilogy reactions are gonna be lit 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Damn right!
I’m so stoked for The Dark Knight… The whole trilogy is great but that movie is the best of the three
Oh! LOVED the Joffery moment. Laughed my ass off,I was waiting to see if that was what you'd noticed and you didn't disappoint.
Laughed my ass off at that. Kill him before he gets to Game of Thrones!😆
he quit acting after getting killed on GoT
Your whole life about to change with this trilogy. Be ready.
Those last two lines define the essence of Batman:
“I never said ‘thank you.’”
“…And you’ll never have to.”
The actor who played Dr. Crane to this day during his scene with batman when he got gassed still amazes me. The ways he acts with his eyes is absolutely amazing I really buy the terror and to me the way he finds a way to convey that terror with his eyes and a few simple words is top acting
One of the greatest movies ever is next in this trilogy. Heath Ledgers performance as the Joker was amazing (RIP).
I've been waiting for this can't wait for the dark knight
And then being disappointed by Rises :/
Cant wait for ip man 2
@@MrJholshouser41 naw...rises was awesome what are you talking about?

The thought of Batman stopping to grab some juice and a muffin before jumping down into the bat cave has me in stiches. I love how your brain works Mr Video, that's what I'm here for!
ruclips.net/video/pQTvXskADTs/видео.html
Excuse me? Batman would never stop to grab some juice and a muffin
He would stop to grab some BATjuice and a BATmuffin
Batman’s “No Killing” rule is meant to be a self-imposed limit. Despite what a lot of media might say, Bruce knows he is not a perfect being. He knows that if he ever kills, he can never trust himself to know when to stop.
He also has respect for the law, even if the police and lawyers in Gotham don't measure up. As he says in this movie, he's not an executioner. No one invested him with the right to take a life.
And if he killed anyone, I doubt he'd wear the cape and cowl again.
The movie was inspired by several Batman stories, including Year One, The Man Who Falls, and The Long Halloween.
And dark victory
One thing to note before the next film, the actress for Rachel changed and it throws ALOT of people off when they first watch it. It is the same character, just a different actress. Great Reaction by the way!
Imagine passing on the Dark Knight lmfao
@@xXSinForLifeXx It was because Katie Holmes got pregnant.
@@justindenney-hall5875 Nah a quick google search shows she turned it down to focus on her other work.
@@xXSinForLifeXx Being a parent is serious work lol.
@@justindenney-hall5875 I don't doubt that lol but Google says she was working on other movies.
Maybe google is wrong but not anywhere does it say she was pregnant. But it's not a big deal anyway just found it funny since she made a huge mistake.
The next movie is one of my favourites of all time, with one of the best acting performances of all time, can’t wait!!
This is a darn good franchise, and The Dark Knight is just generally regarded as one of the best films of that decade (and for damn good reason!). And Michael Caine as Alfred is just someone we could all use in our lives.
Also Morgan Freeman as the supplier of highly advanced technology
The Dark Knight is definitely up there on my favorite Bat-Movies, Heath played the best live Joker of all time.
@L4fty - That warehouse fight scene in BvS is just legendary. That is Batman epicness that the character deserves.
Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy is one of my favorite trilogies ever. Christian Bale is the best Batman and Heath Ledger is the best Joker.
I feel like the dark Knight hasn't aged well for me. Like it's still damn good, but I just can't call it great anymore. I think that's because the writing is pretty uneven. Great for the character moments and a great overall arch, but the beats that make the overall arch happen don't really stand up to scrutiny. The sum of it's parts is greater than the individual parts if that makes any sense
"I'm not going to kill you...but I don't have to save you either!"
"It's not just your name sir! It's your father's name! And it's all that's left of him!"
My favorite lines of the film.
Why do we fall?
I love the "it's your father's name" line but the "but I don't have to save you" line really seems out of character. He isn't directly murdering someone but Bruce has always aimed to capture villains because it offered them a chance at redemption hence him not killing truly psychotic and evil characters like the Joker.
I've always thought the line Caine delivered telling Bruce that his father let with him the "most precious thing in the world" to protect was a good one.
You forgot " All those pushups, and you can't even lift a bloody log!" x)
"Is that Geoffrey, batman kill him"😭😭😭🤣that part had me dying🤣
Batman has been around for almost 80 years so he’s been through a lot of incarnations, from dark and brooding (like in this movie) to light, colorful, and downright colorful and goofy. If you want to see Batman at his goofiest, check out Batman: The Movie from 1966, starring Adam West (the mayor from Family Guy) as Batman. You’ll also recognize The Penguin as the same actor who played Rocky’s trainer, Mickey.
When Ra's says "you burned my house down and left me for dead" I think it's more because Bruce literally did that to the guy he thought was Ra's. Great reaction as usual man, can't wait for the Dark Knight reaction
That’s right. Bruce left who he thought was Ra’s (DECOY RA’S) to burn in the fire and chose to save Ducard (REAL RA’S). Ra’s would naturally be a little miffed about the whole situation.
What I love about this trilogy is that it really plays into the idea that Bruce Wayne is the mask and that Batman is his true self
Omg yaaassssss! (The original Batman movie that you watched with Michael Keaton is still a classic and a must see so you're good lol)
It's been a while since I've watched this movie and I forgot how great this movie is. This trilogy really spoiled superhero movies for me because you just don't see this anymore. This is a legit "film" made with a director's vision that transcends the genre. These comic book films these days, while enjoyable, feel like movies made by a studio checklist. They are micromanaged for the biggest audience possible and have an absence of passion and creativity. It's why The Dark Knight won't be topped anytime soon.
I'm telling you now your reaction for The Dark Knight is gonna be epic bro. I'm hype for that
Yo it's actually improving the quality of this reaction that you saw the 1989 (my birth year) Batman first. blessing in disguise I guess? hope you do hop back on that franchise too at some point... the next one in that one has Danny DeVito as the Penguin, lol
"Thats joffrey!" From game of thrones!-lol still laughing
Damn this one was outta no where can’t wait till dark knight drops one the best Batman movies of all time keep up this Heatt Leo 🔥🔥
It's funny that the actor who plays Joffrey in Game of Thrones is also the little blond boy that Batman saves near the end of the movie. I can't think of anything else he's been in but it's definitely two iconic things.
The gas activates your fear center causing you to see everything you're scared of.
28:53 "Batman! Kill him before he gets to game of thrones!....." lmaooo im dying...🤣🤣🤣
Guy playing Falcone was phenomenal, in a cast of phenomenal actors, that ain't easy.
So the reason Batman didn't have the antidote on him is because Lucius Fox had to make more. So Batman went out without it because 1. It wasn't finished yet and 2. becausde when you take the antidote you are set. You wont be affected by the gas. Love your reactions and Im soo happy you're doing Christopher Nolans Batman. The next movie is also better than this one!!!
The next movie, "The Dark Knight," is even better than this one. And Heath Ledger's protrayal of the Joker? One of the best cinematic perfiormances ever.
I'm so glad you enjoyed this one. I promise you that each one gets better. The best Batman movies are this trilogy and the 1989 one that you already watched. Can't wait to go watch this on Patreon now HAHAHAA
Bring it on, Leo! Take care and happy 2022 from Canada.
Absolutely agree, from Vancouver BC.
47:18, now you get the BEST BEST, first Academy Award winning Joker in The Dark Knight played by the late Heath Ledger before Joaquin Phoenix got his Academy Award. Gotta be your next movie definitely.
And that gas was the blue flower without any filter that Bruce sniffed in the beginning.
I feel sorry for Jack Gleeson. He's a great actor, and seems like a good dude, but he's received actual hate mail because he played Joffery. He basically semi-retired from acting because of that. Hopefully he gets more roles in the future though.
Hope so, he's got a lot of potential. I hated the Joffery character but think Jack played the role perfect
He should play a school counselor, where the kid comes in for advice but then you see the guy is Joffrey and they're like "ah hell nah" when he hasn't even done anything yet
Speaks to how great of an actor he is if he can make people hate him that much.
People can't separate characters from the actors and it's weird. I seen this in alit of TV shows and movies.
Yeah man, he said he was inspired by Joaquin Phoenix as Commodus and I can really see it.
Same thing happened to Joaquin Phoenix after he played the emperor in The Gladiator.
I personally it’s the mark of an amazing actor to play a character written to be hated. And to play it so well.
10:36 It was a mob hit for testifying against him, the person who killed him was working for Falcone
That’s why she was like “Hey Joe, Falcone says hi”
Your reactions never fail to impress.
The next two are even better get ready 😂

I remember watching GoT for the first time and saying: "Wait, that's the little kid from Batman Begins."
I've a good memory for faces.
Ohhhh a young Cillian Murphy as the Scarecrow! He really played that role well. LOL @ Joffery that creased me!
Marilyn Manson, Christopher Eccleston, Ewan McGregor, and Jeremy Davies were considered for The Scarecrow.

@@coyotelong4349 yeah I was thinking mine just might stay up. Its pretty Charlie Brown anyways lol
This might have been recorded weeks ago for all we know
At 8:10 when Liam Neeson's character said it was Bruce's father's fault, I assumed he was saying it to provoke his anger - not that he necessarily meant it literally. He was saying to to see if Bruce would lose control - something he is not supposed to do under any circumstances if he is trained well.
Mostly but I also think he was saying it was his dad's fault because he knew what Gotham was and wasn't able to protect himself. And if I remember correctly his dad was trying to save Gotham.. .and as we find out later they don't think that's possible. So basically by trying to save something that they don't feel should be saved he brought about his own death. He's saying Bruce's father was misguided and that is what ultimately caused his death
Honestly I agree, though I wouldn't find a use for saying it to Bruce's face.
His father should've known better than to lead his family into some poorly lit back alley with no form of protection. For all Thomas' goodwill, he only saw the poor Gotham through a window, and trusted a city he didn't know. In that moment Thomas was too toothless, moral though he was, to do anything.
What's hard is to have teeth and still have the principle to decide when not to use them.
@@samwallaceart288 that's the sign of a good moral man. You are violent but can control that violence for good.
I love Bruce's Dad in this - he's such a great role-model for a boy
I feel like this is the only Batman movie where they make the wider audience realize that Batman is a ninja. He was trained to be a ninja, and used that training to become a vigilante.
I love your reactions! You make me laugh so much! Ooo, I’m so ready for The Dark Knight❤️
I'm obsessed with TV show "Gotham". All of dark DC characters are there and a little Bruce Wayne like before The Batman. It's so intensive, so well done shoot, gorgeous Jada P. Smith, the unpredictable interesting plot and amazing action/darkhumor/gothic/thriller/stylish scenes!
I love Gotham so much and really, really miss it. The actors were all so good in their roles and the villains really shined. I would love for Leo to react to that show eventually.

This reminds me, you need to do Inception some time. Same director and a ton of the same cast. One of the best movies of that decade.
And then watch TENET, which is terrible but I love with all my heart
I bet there's some wild ass fan fiction out there having King Joffrey being exposed to Scarecrow toxin in Gotham and the gadget Batman gave him malfunctions; transporting him to the Game of Throne universe. The Scarecrow toxin leads him to insanity in GoT.
These first two movies are the best batman movies of them all. "Dark Knight" is one of the best movies ever in this genre.
Batman Begins, good good stuff dude think you'll like the storytelling in this one. I'll see at the end of the video I guess lol.

Batman is and always will be my fav Superhero. Love these movies. Excited for you to watch them. Enjoy man
Now your talking bro!!! A film that most people can enjoy!!!
This is the BEST trilogy! So keep watching... This saved the Bat-Man movies! Music: Zimmer. Direction: Nolan and all the very hard working people that helps him. Acting: "Of the Charts" - all actors has one of their best performance in these 3 movies. (Later, you can watch "Bat-Man & Robin", for giggles... )
Chris Nolan made Batman movies gritty and exciting and serious again after Joel Schumacher had made them into a cheap campy joke
It wasn't just Hans Zimmer who composed the music for this film. It was also James Newton Howard. He left the DKR cause Zimmer kept getting all the credit, and he didn't want to feel like a third wheel.

I was SO HAPPY you caught that was Joffrey!!!
The best superhero trilogy ever.
The second film in the "Trilogy" "The Dark Knight" is BY FAR the best Batman Movie IMHO, and you will get introduced to my favorite "Joker"
while i agree that ledger was great as the joker, for my taste, begins was the best of the three and tdk and tdkr gradually devolved script and pacing wise..... i always feel like people tend to overlook the glaring flaws of those movies because of the budget upgrade and ledger's great performance... dazzled the eyes but numbed the brain... plus, bale's batman voice really started to get on my nerves 😜
@@stefanforrer2573 Pacing-wise, Begins is best, but I still love The Dark Knight more just because of Ledger's performance. All the Joker scenes are gold and a lot of the Batman/Wayne scenes are slow and pale in comparison. It does have a satisfying ending true to the title, but could easily have been called "The Joker" instead of "The Dark Knight" so I agree.
Great reaction. Keep them coming 🖖
If more of us had realized you hadn't seen The Dark Knight yet we would've been screaming for it. all time classic.
damn so stoked you begin this trilogy! it's an amazing series, and the third one is a top movie of all time for me. i hope you enjoy the trilogy, and the new year. best wishes bro
2nd one is the best. You can’t beat The Joker . He even wins at the end
@@alkoholic3216 The joker was very good, but after years of hearing this i got tired of it, still prefer the dark knight rises to this day
I don't know why some people hate on TDKR. I love that movie.
I am always unsure which one I prefer more. Heath Ledger is insane, but so is the whole third one. Action fullstop, amazing antihero, and an insane end to the trilogy.
Just by the "artsy" factor I guess the second one is to be prefered (go Joker!), I personally do love the third one more, too. But I understand how people say #2 is the best. Personally, watched the Dark Knight Rises a LOT more because I enjoy it more. One of the few movies I can just go back to and still enjoy it. The opening scene in the plane alone catches me each time. And sets the tone for Bane.
The Batman Trilogy is 🔥🔥. Dark Knight is the best of the Trilogy, but Batman Begins is underrated. I think it's a great movie.

This is my favorite of the Batman series. Very dark and serious.
Me too. I'm a sucker for an origin story and this movie did it just about better than any other. Also didn't take itself quite as seriously as Dark Knight but was still nice and gothic
The beginning of one of the best trilogies ever! The acting, storyline, darkness puts it above the typical superhero movies.
here's hoping the new Bat-Movies can hold themselves to this trilogy's standard.
First one!!
Batmans first rival was the riddler i believe, his second is scarecrow, then joker, and finally Bane. Used to love the comics and cartoon. This series with Christian Bale is great.
The Joker was introduced in Batman #1 (1940), Scarecrow was introduced in World's Finest Comics #3 (1941), Riddler was introduced in Detective Comics # 140 (1948), and Bane was introduced in Batman: Vengeance of Bane #1 (1993). Joker was first among Batman's major rivals.

The interesting thing about Nolan's Batman movies is that they don't use much CGI. So this is all practical effects.
IDC what the poll results say, you have to hop into Band of Brothers, brother. Based on the actual interviews done with the survivors of Easy Company, it became basically mandatory viewing in the 101st while I was stationed there. We follow the legendary unit from training through the end of WW2. Unlike 'The Walking Dead,' this show doesn't disappoint the viewer the farther along you get.

Having grown up with the older Batmans (all the way back to reruns of the Adam West TV show/movie), I don't enjoy the serious take on Batman. I like my Batman fun and with a little bit of goofiness. Though I do enjoy Dark Knight purely for Heath Ledger.
Would love to see you continue with the older Batman movies (Batman Returns, Batman Forever, Batman & Robin), because they are a lot of fun if you don't take them too seriously. If you can find Batman 1966, it is about as silly as it gets.
I've got it on DVD and Adam West just kills me 🤣🤣🤣 holy action hero batman
