Don't understand why you would halve the eggs before using the egg slicer. It's so much easier to put the whole egg in the slicer in one direction, remove and place in the other direction to dice.
I agree, so much easier to put the whole egg in the slicer. But in this video, these were the same eggs when I was filming how to cook hard boiled eggs, and I needed to show in that video that the eggs were fully cooked as hard boiled eggs, because some people asked the question before (if the eggs were cooked) in my older hard-boiled-eggs video.
