INGREDIENTS:
2 cloves garlic
450 g / 1 lb ground beef
5 eggs
1 tbsp olive oil
salt and pepper
1 tsp Sage
Chives (optional)

I would add finely chopped tomatoes and onion...then put some grated cheese at the end...a complete meal...with some beer or wine...cheers !!!

Mrs. Sophie , very nice recipe & looks delicious , I don't think I'd change anything to the recipe in the pan, but I think I will I will make German rye toast to spread it on & shredded hashbrowns on the side . It is nice to be married as we can have garlic and/or onions for breakfast & have garlic/ onion breath with no complaints from our spouses( even all day on weekends if retired like my wife & I) , lol, God Bless you & your family

I would eat this but instead of bread I would use salsa and sour cream 👍
OMG 😮 My Grandma made this in the 60-70's. She learned it from her mother. So my great grandma learned this from her mom, who came from Spain. I always remember Grandma's cooking stories.
My sister’s in-laws were Lebanese and made this a lot. We would eat it often with Arabic bread and labneh for a meal.
Suggestions:
Add chopped onions to the garlic.
I've often scrambled my eggs and then topped them with either chili or white sausage gravy.
I have been eating this since I was little...it is really good
I am thinking this would be good for breakfast with a dash of Tabasco sauce 😅

My mom made this for over 60 years . I added either canned tomatoes or cut up fresh tomatoes and onions. Put on bread add sheared cheese and spread sour cream on one side of the bread . You have the best sandwich ever. I also do this with breakfast sausage for of course breakfast.

This would be great to make a breakfast pizza.. With a little more mozzarella cheese on a boxed pizza. Recently I did this on flatbread.
My dad used to make this for us when we were little. We ate it in a tortilla tho.

As I am following a strict carnivore diet for medical reasons, and with excellent results, I do this, except for shallots or garlic, which can interact with my medications. In my language, we also say "lekker!” 😊
fry sausage and potatoes with chopped onion then pour in a half dozen stirred eggs and stir till done, turn off heat ,,,then cover with shredded cheese and cover till cheese has melted ,,,, called skillet surprise,,,,,,,,,,,great camp food breakfast
