I even got the little rider backrest for my 53 year old lumbar. Keep on ridin’ Rosy, love the content I’m a big fan. 👍
Wow, thank you Randall I appreciate the comments and you watching. I still get a little sad every time I see a bike that looks similar to mine, but then I remember why I got rid of it

First, Thank you both for your Service! I wanted to say I do like my heel shifter. This the first bike I have owned with one. (‘19 Limited) Had the bike a couple of years now and several month ago decided to make a effort to try and use the heel shifter. Now I love it. Being in SWFL I ride in shorts and sneakers a lot, stupid I know but it damn hot here. The shifter pretty much ruins sneaker after a while so I have been up shifting with my heel and down shifting with my toe and it gets the job done pretty damn well although I had 30 + years habit to break. Rosy Thanks for the info I am planning on stripping my Limited down to more of a Street Glide look now that my wife rides her own Deuce.
In July I bought a 2005 Electra Glide and besides the electronics, it's almost the same bike, and it is very comfortable! Oh yeah, and the bike had only 31.5K for $6500, and still looks new! Well, very close to new. Upgrading it to the Custom Dynamics lights as we speak.
Yeow Sailor what's up man , thanks for your service. I did pretty much the same thing to my 93 ultra classic electra glide. Good call on the seat. My stock lasted about 6 months. Went to a Harley Low Pro that lasted just about a year before I stepped up to a Lucky Dave’s. Super comfortable. Ride safe. 👍🏽👊🏽
Thank you, I really enjoyed it. I believe it’s going to be for sale at Biggs Harley Davidson pretty soon, I just traded it in a few weeks ago on a Roadglide ST
I loved everything about that bike except for one thing, I could never stop the turbulence. Tried multiple windscreens, all the different wind blocking devices, nothing helped above 75 miles an hour. I do miss the bike, she was beautiful
Nice bike. I have a 2019 Roadglide ultra that I leave for two up. I have so many extras I put on that. I also have a 2010 CVO electra glide ultra I'm putting that into a solo bike. Lots of mods on that to make it solo but I love it. Now I have one of each.
I need to remove my king tower pack off of my 2016 RGlide ultra . I will still get the break light to work minus the turn signals correct. I like the turn signals you use . To wire those in do I need to get special wires or do the current blinker light wires clip on to the turn signals you added. Thanks for any help. Pete
Just plugged them right in to the factory plug and they were great. I also have added a low profile brake light/turn signal because from an angle you cannot see the brake lights between the bags and the fender
@@rosyrosenblum9823 yes , plug and play. Although in the ultra the license plate gets in the way of the sissy bar cargo rack . I didn't think that through when I bought my sissy bar and rack . To relocate the plate I do I need to droll out holes or do you know of a plate holder that can do the job without having to drill holes on the back fender
Thank you very much, I really appreciate it. New videos coming out within the next couple of weeks they’re going to show the current state. It’s gotten pretty bad ass
Both the tail light and the lights between the bags and the fender are from custom dynamics. I believe the license plate relocation was from Kuryakyn. Thanks for watching!
You’re right it doesn’t look LED, but it is. I don’t like the way it looks either one of these days I’ll probably replace it. Not a bike shop, just my own toys. Thank you for watching!
Harley laughs all the way to the bank every time some one buys a street glide over the ultra classic. You get less and pay more. No tour pack, no running lights, a worthless windshield, and not much of a passenger seat for several thousand dollars more. Good job on converting your ultra classic. You can always go back to a full touring bike if you want.
Those are custom dynamics fillerz. I still have them, I’m trying to figure out a way to change the chrome to black without it looking like crap so I can put it on my Roadglide
You are correct, you will also need to replace the tail light which you’ll see in my new video. Otherwise the light window points up instead of down onto the license plate
Sorry, I don’t agree. After using it for a while it was driving me batty with the distorted view. Just like Adam , I ended up going with freedom shield
question i am in the middle of doing this my self and the only license plate relocation bracket i can find "unless i get the whole kit from Harley" is the same as yours, How do you like up the plate, as the tail light has the clear part on top? for the tour pack? or do you just not worry about it ?
The license plate relocation was a Custom Dynamics piece and cost about $50, In a later video, I replace the tail light with a custom dynamics turn signal tail light with the license plate window on the bottom. Thanks for watching feel free to hit me up if you have any questions
My question is when you installed those AWSOME rear directional light was it plug and play or did you modifie the wiring some people put the stock roadking tails on
I’m thinking about going the other way. By a street glide and buy tour pack and lowers for long distance. Or just a luggage rack and back rest for me and the wife. Instead of buying an ultra. Which way is cheaper you thinker?
I did the Street Glide 115th Anniversary, added the matching big tour with after market locks. Went with the soft lowers because I don’t like lowers all the time. But when it is cold or raining hard, pop them on. Bought the big heated hammock seat for when I have the tour pack on or plan on over 300 miles that day. Love the versatility it all gives me, but the coolest thing is the Harley garage door opener. Never miss a beat and just ride right into a waiting garage every time. Keep the rubber side down.
To be honest, the difference between the vents open and closed is negligible. I’ll be riding tomorrow to work and I’ll let you know if I notice a difference in buffeting
They are custom dynamics fillers. I also added a new tail light that has turn signals built-in. The fillers aren’t real visible during the day if you’re not behind me because they sit inside the saddlebag area. Look for an upcoming video where I show the solution

I hate my heel shifter on my Road King but I can't break the lug loose. Hate it even more on my 03 Ultra classic because of the size of the floor boards. Gotta take those off.
What about your brake light lens? The clear part is to shine on your tag. Now is is pointing up and your tag is under the light? Cops will stop you for not having a tag light.
That is correct, I have added a brake light/turn signal combo that has the window for the license plate light in the right direction now. Thank you for watching and noticing
I’ve seen so many street glides on RUclips and the owners go an add the three lights on the front, heated grips, large tour pack, more comfortable seat……. And I always thought, why not get the ultra for a couple extra thousand and save all that money from upgrading the street glide?
@@rosyrosenblum9823 awesome man I will keep an eye out. I was even thinking, buy the ultra and add the street glide saddle bags to that… then it will really be looking like a street glide
Personally I would definitely get the street glide. If it’s thousands more for an ultra then it’s not worth it. You can add a tour pack for less than $1000 painted from the aftermarket. Lowers are about 600 painted. Other than that they are the same basic motorcycle
Buy a Indian Roadmaster dark horse . for same price as a Harley ultra limited. they have a detachable trunk that comes off in a minute , remote saddlebags and trunk locks , heated and cooling seat, bigger engine and horse power, power windshield , and radio and info system that blows away the ultra limited .
