@@jesvarghese966 depends on the noodle sizes. If it is fine size then soak 10-15 mins, then submerge in hot or boiling water and should be good to eat. If it is thicker and bigger noodle then will probably soak 20-30 mins b4 submerge in hot water.
@@EverythingHmong thank you for your quick responses. One last question. If I'm making it now but want to eat tomorrow, do I still soak the noodles in cold and hot water? Or just cold water now and hot water before I want to eat?
@@jesvarghese966 you can keep the soaked noodle in the fridge and submerge it in hot water before you eat or add broth. Or start from the beginning. I like to keep leftover soaked noodle in the fridge, that way I don't have to wait.
Grandma didn't use any measurement. 0.5-1lbs of fresh beef, 3-4 c of water (2 servings) 1-2 tbsp salt and fish sauce, add little first and modify broth to your liking. You may also use beef flavored. Lemongrass, ginger, and coriander stems/seeds are optional. If you don't have it, it is ok. To me, chili sauce is a must for this pho and other pho.

How are you soaking the rice noodles? In cold water or boiling water?
Soak in room temp water first. When soften, blench in hot or boiling water then pour in broth. I hope that help. Thanks for watching.
@@EverythingHmong for how long in room temp water and boiling water?

@@EverythingHmong I don’t live in MN 😢 I was hoping maybe if I know the plant name I could try to find the seeds to plant it 😭

The noodles are thin, just blanch it. Thanks for watching.
