This is a great, classic, 1960's 'company is coming', fancy meatloaf recipe! My mom used to make this in the 🇺🇸1960's! It's delicious! Hightime it's brought back! Thanks for sharing it 😋
That looks amazing! So many recipes from the '60s have gotten lost. My favorite is Turkey Divan my mom made when I was a kid back in '70s and early '80s from her red and white 1960s Betty Crocker cookbook. I am definitely going to try your recipe next! My wife and I both love mushrooms and cheese and everything that goes into your recipe. Excellent presentation! So calming and fun to watch! Raleigh, North Carolina, USA

Honey is the only thing in the "glaze" (it's not a marinade!) that is particularly hi-carb.. you could just leave it out. The other ingredients are very low-carb, and unless you're going to eat the whole "roulade" yourself you should be ok!
@@trudygreer2491 Thank you, Trudy: I'm sure there is a suitable substitute or, as you say, just leave it out. Oh, to be able to eat anything again. I've got this saved so that I can't forget. Two tablespoons isn't much for an entire meatloaf.

It’s a very common cheese here in Europe. However, it is rather sweet so it is not for those who like more savory cheeses. If you don’t like it, I imagine you can use a more natural tasting cheese like Edam or something a little more savory like young cheddar.
@@Gemzzzyyy thank you! I think I might ask my local grocery store "Publix" to have a chees tasting Saturday, they usually do that for all kinds of food stuffs but I'll have to make sure they carry that cheese, lol! ❤
