Oh boys, boys, boys...the pressure of trying to make interesting content every week takes its toll and you are obviously disappointed that the channel hasn't grown more. However, I for one have thoroughly enjoyed watching you live your lives. I have arrived late to your channel but have now watched every video you have made I think. You are good souls and your presence on RUclips and other platforms enriches our lives...and sends good energy into the universe. You must do what makes you happy but please know that you are both a force for good and that is such a beautiful and positive success. Please do not underestimate what you have achieved. You have gained so many friends that you have just not met yet...and probably never will but we really are here and wish only the best for you guys. Don't ever think that you have to be anything more than you are. You are more than enough!! ❤️❤️
Hi Jeff, thank you 😊 Making a video every week is a full-time job and we already have our own full-time jobs (plus taking care of the garden), so it's quite difficult and very time consuming. If the channel was bigger, we would earn some money from it (now it's like $60 a month), for the same amount of work. Oh well. Makes us happy that you like our videos, thank you for your kind words - it's rewarding to read such comments. We really appreciate it 😉 There will be new videos throughout the year, just less of them, so we don't feel so burnt out. See you then 😊
Your garden videos are my favorite ones. Of course, gardening is repetitive, but plant growth is constantly evolving. And that's the best part of it. Hoping to see you very soon, gentlemen !

Taking time for yourselves is important...but please know that many of us look very forward to your videos. If this is goodbye... then please take care and enjoy every day and experience with child-like wonder for their is joy all around you. Thank you for sharing so much of your life with us and allowing me to see, not only the homeland of my great grandparents but places in the world I will never visit. Thank you both for recapping all that you accomplished in 2023. I can see why you want to back off a little. Hopefully you won't stop completely sharing moments with your viewers. Your videos have given us viewers a chance to visit countries that we may never have the opportunity to visit. There has never been a video that I have fast-forwarded through because you have the gift of holding our interest. Enjoy your time away, but when you're up for it....share a little slice of your lives with your viewers again.

My husband and I watch you weekly and this is sad news. You two have been our thursday lunch date each week as we dine and watch your video. Things in life run cycles and it appears your cycle here needs to slow down but hopefully not end.

What a great year of travel and adventure you guys had! Cheers to a 2024 filled with more adventures, fun, love, joy and laughter! I love your videos! I do have to admit I have been out of touch with you for a while now, so sorry. No excuse other than life getting busy at times. With things hopefully settling down after the holidays, I will have to catch up on your videos. I could use a good dose of the Tommy and Peter adventurous, fun and relaxing country living life! You two have to do what is best for you and if that means cutting back on the number of videos you post, then so be it. I can only imagine how time consuming it is to put out these videos, keep up with your gardening and maintain your country home and city apartment all while working your daily jobs. I get exhausted just thinking about it! I truly have enjoyed your videos and will continue to do so. Take care! We will see you soon! Love and big hugs!

It would be easier if it were our full-time job, but oh well. We have our normal full-time jobs plus taking care of the garden. Having watched RUclips for over a decade I enjoy channels like yours. it helps make this big world a bit smaller, seeing how other people live in other parts of the world.
I have seen channels grow slowly, sometimes fast. Thank you for the time and effort you put into your videos!
And THANK YOU for sharing that you're stepping back a bit. (I have been frustrated by RUclipsrs who've asked for Likes and Subscribes then go away without a thought for the people left behind.)

Thank you 😊 Yes, RUclips can be too much sometimes, so we definitely need some resting periods. It's a full-time job (with no salaries for us) but we already have normal full-time jobs, so it's kinda overwhelming and there is no time for anything else 😁

It seems 2024 is an inflection point for many YTers. And I fully understand. Producing content can be a full time job, and many have discovered other things going on in their lives (like enjoying it) without having the pressure to record and share it. You owe us nothing. You’ve shared more than most of us.

Thank you for your comment, Frank 😉 You are right. Making videos is very time consuming and it's time to slow down at least a bit. There is work to be done in the garden, so we can't film everything or sit in front of the computer and edit videos the whole day. It's a bit different on vacations, because we like to capture the adventures also for ourselves 😊 Althoug it's true that we wouldn't film so much if it weren't for RUclips 😁

You need to stop and think for a moment. You start doning the videos for fun. Also, to share your lives with all of us 😊. Which I found so interesting and intriguing. You showed some of the world I may never see. So thank you. Also, this last year has been a rough one for me. Your blog helped me to recover when i was down. I know it's hard to make and edit your videos. So you take all the time you need. I, for one will be waiting on you guys.

Can I respectfully ask what part of the world are you planning to travel to , the right time to wander the world is whilst in ones younger years ,
personally I've been fortunate to of spent a great deal of time exploring foreign countries , mainly South-East-Asia and Australasia , I would highly recommend Laos ,

Thanks for the video. It was great to see you both. Its just fine to only do videos when you want to. You are both a wonderful example of a gay couple. But your clip of growing bananas etc is the same as where I live here in Queensland Australia. Its a sub-tropical climate and it never snows. In the first couple of days in January we received 254 ml of rain. It is unusual to get as much as that. Many areas were flooded, but I have been safe here, as I live close to the bay. Our summer is now and winter is in June/July. Lovely to see Johnny again. Another lovely guy. Hugs to you both.

I understand reducing your posts, although I may just wither away in between them 🤪. I think a lot of RUclips viewers in general don’t realize just how much work every week it takes to produce a video. I don’t know how the daily channels churn them out, even if they do it full time. Thank you for your feedback. We think that you are under the false impression that this is our full-time job. Creating videos is a time-consuming process. This year, we want to focus on enjoying our lives and garden more, rather than spending hours editing videos in front of the computer.
Oh, dear. I am so sad that you won't be posting every week. But I am sad for myself, not for you. I fear I have lived in a parasocial delusion with you guys, you spending all the effort (filming, editing, posting, and commenting) in maintaining a relationship and I, loving it, but just tuning in when it was convenient for me. Heavily one-sided as far as effort is concerned. Totally understand how you would finally want to back off from all that. Just know that I have loved all that effort and enjoyed getting to now you both over the last few years.
