- This time we want to stay warm, and so we're heading to the southwest of Gran Canaria where it's supposed to be sunnier and less windy. The main objective is to find a nice beach for us while exploring another part of the island. Will we succeed?

Now this is more like it guys...a sunshiny day and hardly any wind 😊. I absolutely loved to see and hear the frogs having fun in the water. I'm stupidly afraid of frogs though, so I'm not sure how close I would go 😳. Lovely views away from the touristy areas. So interesting ❤
Yes, we agree 😊 We were glad the sun showed up on the beach too and we could enjoy our beach day 😁 Noo, frogs are lovely, no need to be afraid of them, they don't bite 😁

Yes, it really wasn't that bad. That is until we reached the terrible point with cliffs everywhere around us. That was definitely the right time to turn back 😯😊
I was pleased to see the trail which I think I could even do! The dry desert landscape is mesmerizing there just like it is where I am now in Southern California. Thanks for sharing Tommy and Peter!🩷
But not farther on the cliffs, that trail got quite dangerous quickly 🤨We usually like lush green areas better, but this was very beautiful, we were pleasantly surprised 😊
Tommy, you looked like a swimsuit model when you were standing up on the rocks in your suit and sunglasses. Beautiful rock formations, too, that Peter pointed out. Thanks, guys, you were both daring to go in the cold Atlantic. As Peter would say, "Yay!"
Tommy is totally a model. He knows how to strike a pose 😁 Luckily the Atlantic wasn't that cold, it was kinda ok. Yay 😁

The frogs scare me but listening to them croaking int that little puddle, gives me tenderness. Besides, they are very useful because they are natural predators of mosquitoes ( Here we are going through a dengue epidemic right now). Then, should I adopt a frog? Ha Ha.
You also found the secret beach and had your swim in the Atlantic Ocean, how cool guys.

But the dry landscape here was also very beautiful 😊 Liliana, you are the second person in the comments that is scared of frogs. How is that possible? They are quite lovely 😁 You should adopt one. Some of the earliest settlers in San Antonio, Texas came from Gran Canaria.
So interesting, we had no idea. And we would love to move to Gran Canaria, haha 😊 Canary Islands seem like a great place to live, mainly in winter 😁
