Don't be embarrassed, Peter. They probably thought you were filming for a documentary for the sake of documentation of history. Beautiful vistas from the hill. And your family's property with all the fruit trees and flower gardens is such a cute retreat. I'm glad you were able to get away for a few days.
Thank you 😊 Absolutely, a documentary for all you here on RUclips 😁 Luckily nowadays people record on their phones a lot and take pictures, so it's not totally out of place, but it still feels weird when we take out our camera and talk in English 😀
When Tommy’s little Princess started the yard tour, I thought it would take about a minute because it was small. The property is massive! Deceptive to the eyes, but very lovely and relaxing. I liked the castle minus the horrendous story. ❤❤
Peter, you often say that things are amazing. Your excitement and enthusiasm are amazing!!! We should call you Peter the Amazing!!! What a lovely retreat your family has. I enjoyed the tour and, as always, Tommy's wry comments. Yes, Tommy, Englishes are hard!!! 🤣🤣🤣Thanks to both of you for the fun video!!! ❤❤❤
Thank you for inviting us to see your marvelous retreat. I enjoyed your post so much. In the US, we call those Lounge Chairs. Someone posted that in the U.K. they are called Chaise Lounge. That’s a rather old fashioned term that we used when I was a boy in the 1960s. You guys are such a breath of fresh air. I love you both so much. Keep your videos coming to us. I’m watching you from Atlanta, Georgia in USA. ❤️
Thank you very much, makes us happy to hear that you enjoyed our video 😊 Other term for the chair from Britain is also 'sun bed' 😁 Greetings to Atlanta 😉
Very beautiful. Peter was certainly very happy, it showed. Tommy is always so cool, laid back and enjoying the day. And the chairs, in the US, they are called lounge chairs. You were very close Peter.
I really enjoyed seeing the small house and your of the gardens , something intrigued me , There didn't seem to be a toilet , I noticed next door another similar garden , the plots looked like allotments, very cute thought
Hi Thomas, there is an outhouse, an outdoor toilette (wooden). We showed it during the property tour 😉 There are more gardens in the surroundings, old orchards 😊
It's amazing to be able to have such a variety of fruit trees to just pluck fresh fruit when ripened. Glad you were able to hike an enjoy the countryside.
Wow I think that's the biggest cherry tree I've ever seen! The glass drawing of the former castle was cool to see and whoever thought of doing that gets a gold star but it was a very unsettling story. What a wonderful walk back to the cabin and it's so funny how you guys are like us, when we see people we try to go the other way. You guys are so sweet together and you always make me smile. Thanks again for sharing!
Sadly, we missed the cherry season there, but the tree is enormous. I noticed that I didn't align the glass drawing with the castle properly, but it is indeed a good idea and one can imagine how it once was 😊 Haha, absolutely, when there are people we go to the other side or just try to stay away as far as possible 😀 Thank you, glad you liked the video 😊
That was very interesting. The castle story was fairly gruesome. The garden was very good too. I'm glad you were able to have a rest for a change. Have a good trip back home.
I'd love to be frolicking around in the garden with Peter and Tommy. Those savory rolls would go great with some good sausages, sauteed onions and green peppers, and mustard. It all looks delicious.
What a great get away. I did wonder what would happen if you had to use the outhouse in the middle of the night. It was so far away. Loved the castle and the bloody story. Oh, here we call the recliner a lounge chair. So you were correct.
In the night we would use a flashlight on our phones and just go to the outhouse 😁 It's far but quite an adventure and you can watch stars along the way 😀💚 Glad you liked also the castle and its story. Thanks 😊
Wow guys...that's like their own personal little park....and we call those chairs 'sun loungers' So a combination of the two descriptions you used. The tiny house is brilliant. Everything you need for enjoying time at the property...and those Nutella rolls look amazing. I haven't seen them anywhere here sadly 😢 It's such a gift to be in beautiful places. We are in North Yorkshire in England with friends this weekend. It is such picturesque countryside.
Yes, it was a great weekend in the personal park 😊 Thank you 😉 Sounds great in the English countryside. We visited some areas in 2019 and as you say, it is very picturesque and cute 😊
Word of advice: Having an Orchard of Apple & Pear trees can be a slimy mess when they drop so much fruit, it rots.. this in turn attracts Yellow Jackets (wasps).
Yes, that's true. But that's how it is when having an orchard, it's not a big problem. You can tidy up and remove the fallen fruits or you can keep them and just let them rot. Depends on how much time you have and if it bothers you 😀 In our garden we often let them on the ground and it's fine, they disappear quite quickly and there are just a few wasps 😁
I enjoyed seeing your families' off-grid dacha in Slovakia. 1:53 Fox Glove 3:00 I'm on the US west coast and I would call them chaise lounges that rock, (which is almost from the french 'chaise longue' that translates to 'long chair') 7:35 Loud cheesy music 8:45 I love memory foam mattress toppers!
I absolutely fell in love with that place, that little cabin and all those fruit trees. Everything so neat. A little far away the toilette from the cabin, isn't it ? I don't want to imagine you in a "hurry" Lol. Just kidding. How creepy the story that took place in that castle!!! How someone who had the privilege of living in such a beautiful place with that amazing view could be so evil. It's difficult to judge the past with the eyes of the present but what is wrong is always wrong, I loved today's video guys. Congrats. Kisses.
Thank you, Liliana 😉 You have to calculate it correctly and not run at the last second to the toilette 😀 Yes, it is very scary what was happening in the castle, unbelievable. At least the Blood Countess was convicted in the end.
What a beautiful garden! Thanks so much for sharing these amazing things with us 🤗 Also kinda off topic but when are you guys bringing back Peter's sister Monika to your videos?! She's so much fun! As a fan of yours I also really look forward to seeing her again in your lovely videos 😉 Best wishes to y'all! ☺☺
O-M-G!!! It seems I’m back just in time to prevent an outbreak of Americanisms!!! 😳 There maybe several cultural claims on the names of those reclining seats, but the only acceptable one is also the only correct one: the British version: sun beds. Case closed. 😉 Otherwise, apart from avoiding a near cataclysmic cultural faux pas, this was an otherwise excellent video guys. Really loved your parents’ holiday cottage. Very homely and those mid-century sittingroom chairs were just gorgeous. Sorry I’ve not been around much of late, life has been very hectic. Though it seems I’ve arrived back just in time to see off some very suspect cultural incursions. Finally, wow - just wow - didn’t Tommy look so handsome at the end of that video with his glasses on. Swoon! 😀🔥❤️ Best wishes from your pal in Ireland, Stefan
Hi Stefan, thanks for your important input about the British version of the chairs. Sun beds sound very nice, haha 😁 We have had quite a hectic life too lately, so sorry for our slow replies 😉
My aunt told me she was visiting Slovakia, Czechia and a few other E. European countries, over the next few weeks. I told her about your channel, but only because she was calling Czechia Czechoslovakia, and I wanted her to understand the difference, these days. Anyways, in reviewing the map I saw how close Slovakia is to where some of my mom's side of the family came from, a long time ago. They are from Novy Targ, Poland, just over the boarder with Slovakia, in the Carpathians. I thought about this video, and wondered how close it is to Novy Targ, is it far? The world is such a small place sometimes.
Hi, that is so cool she will be visiting the area. Just tell her that it's Central Europe (not Eastern), people can be a bit touchy about that 😀 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central_Europe Czechoslovakia has been over since 1993, so for more than 30 years now, that's a long time. Novy Targ is close to the High Tatra mountains, the highest mountains in Slovakia and Poland. They are a small part of the whole Carpathian range, and they are so beautiful. Where we were in the video is elsewhere. More to the west, close to the borders with the Czech Republic, and the mountains are much lower there.
@@tommyandpeter ok, i will start using the term central more now, thank-you. Eastern europe is russia and all that boarder russia, or is it more complicated?

Beautiful world 🌍 life giving trees !!!!!!!!
Thanks Tommy and Peter love Colin
Sun beds I think Colin England
Thank you, Colin. A very beautiful orchard with organic produce. Similar to what we have in our garden 💚😊
When Tommy’s little Princess started the yard tour, I thought it would take about a minute because it was small. The property is massive! Deceptive to the eyes, but very lovely and relaxing. I liked the castle minus the horrendous story. ❤❤

What a nice retreat! I feel relaxed just watching.
Thank you, glad you liked it 😊
Thank you for showing us a little history - that little holiday house is perfect for anyone. Glad you had fun. Love you lots 💙💙💯
Thanks 😊 We definitely had a great stay at the little cabin 💚
I’m sure there is plenty of work waiting for you in your garden! This was an amazing experience! Thank you 🙏
There is, that's why we also need to rest from time to time 😁 Thanks 😉

Watching you always makes me smile when Peter is bouncing around like tiger in winnie the pooh 🤗❤ thank you , well filmed Tommy !
Haha, thank you Ineke 😊 I like to move a lot 😀
A lovely place but I would need indoor plumbing 😂
Who wouldn't? 😁😉
The tour of the castle was very interesting...thank you Tommy and Peter...as always...love, James ❤❤
