Wow good you uploaded this video! I’m gonna be taking this flight in about 3-2 weeks just the other way around. and I’m uploading a trip report about it, so I will be very happy if I could get a shout-out!
Good report. So SAS offers "It's this or nothing" meals service, and you have to pay for alcohol? I guess that's because SAS is Scandinavian and a beer is $10 a spoonful. My no-fly list is expanding. So far I'm down to Air Koryo. OK, their route network is a bit limited but the catering seem on-par. 😊😊 On the plus side, they do have Business Class window seats that are actually next to a window! Take that Finnair, British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, et al!
It’s quiet interesting that quick change to A330. This aircraft SE-RSB is in Stockholm grounded since 3rd of February. Either demand dropped or they are doing some maintenance work. Overall very few SAS A350 are seen flying nowadays.
Did I miss the part about leg room and seat comfort? I'm considering flying SAS soon on the same route but I've read horrible reports on comfort and leg room. Maybe it's just me...
Hi! I actually mentioned in the report that seat comfort and legroom is sort of unacceptable in such a long flight. I don’t recommend flying their A350 in Economy (same goes with their A320Neo and CRj900) unless you are not siting in emergency exit row. I had my return flight on their A330 which actually was much better in terms of legroom compared to their A350.
@@Boardingstartssoon Thanks. appreciate the reply. What are your thoughts on the best trans-atlantic coach seat airline? I'm a big guy and my go to airline (Virgin) doesn't work this time.
I would recommend Finnair as they are good in terms of legroom. SAS’s A330 is also not bad, 52H is a good seat as you have some more extra space in between your seat and window from the right side.
gotta love the A350 trip report with SAS. Im mostly curious of their SAS Plus service and the safety video's music is just so good (is it just me or it's too short cuz I saw the longer video even tho i haven't flown them)
Hi there, may I ask if you need to pay for the meal? We're planning to fly soon but it said that meal is not included (also Economy Go Light) Thanks for the review!
Hi! Thank you for your comment! Lunch or dinner is included in the ticket price (including one soft drink) plus light meal or breakfast is also served before landing.
Great vid! Haven't traveled for a while. Did the airline asked you for a PCR/Cov document at the beginning of your journey, before arriving Copenhagen? Or did you only had to show it in LA (LAX)?
Hi Ivette, Thank you so much! Only during check in (in Stockholm, as it was the starting point) they checked the covid documentation. I didn’t show it while boarding either in LAX, but they might randomly check it. Hope you get to fly soon✈️
Hi! From what I understood you are required to fill in a paper regarding to your covid vaccination and test results confirming that you are vaccinated or has tested negative and that the proof you show is true, etc. It is just a bit confusing the way you need to fill it, I believe this is a requirement not from the airline but the United States. SAS stuff didn’t care what or how you gonna fill that paper, but the last page which needs to have your name and signature so they can take it before boarding. To my question for assistance one of SAS’s worker very rudely told me that it doesn’t matter what/how you write, they just gonna throw these papers away in two years.
There is a link to it in your reservation online enabling you to print and fill it in before you arrive at the airport. If you are vaccinated you basically tick the box in page 1 or 2 and then you sign on page 7. The rest of the pages are if you are not vaccinated and need to select the right reason for exception.
Hi, awesome video but i have question. You say the leg room is bad, but how tall are you? Because as a 6"1 guy (185cm) I am wondering how this will go. Thanks!
Could I ask how tall you are? Im on the shorter side (5’8”) but im the tallest one in my whole traveling group and we’re possibly flying this exact route in reverse later this year, so Im trying to get an idea if we’re going to be cramped on this flight. I flew Turkish in economy from Istanbul to LA (14 hours! 😖) and that was perfectly fine for me.
thank you for your report but SAS economy class service its really poor you should try premium economy or business on the return way try to upgrade to premium or business class
Thank you for watching Robert! I am taking the A330 of SAS back to Copenhagen. I would definitely love to try the premium and business product of SAS, in the future! I will give it a try to A330 economy to see the difference between their A350 and A330.

Awesome trip report. Love flying in/out of the Tom Bradley terminal
Thank you!✈️
Nice to see CPH again and hear a bit of Danish or Swedish ✈️
Great job 👍 We will soon be flying with SAS only in the other direction Oslo - Stockholm
I love flying from Denmark to LA then home to Arizona especially in the winter, such a weather shock.
It's wonderful to see people flying across the world again. Hope you enjoyed your staying in L.A. 😌
Thank you Marcello!

SAS 💙☀️👍
So sad they took the A350 off this route at the beginning of February. I was so looking forward to flying on it.

@Boarding starts soon I wonder if they are seeing the same problem Qatar Airlines was seeing. They have the A330 scheduled into late March right now.
That might be the case, but there is no announcement yet.
@@Boardingstartssoon I think they don't want the contentious relationship with Airbus that Qatar got.
Where is the opendoor terrace?
Hmmm. At the announcement of a ten hour flight, and the views of the seat, I got a flash of claustrophobia.
I will make the same trip on November 2, 2023. I hope I find myself well, thanks for your contribution
I'm doing the opposite mid-May! LAX to Copenhagen. It'll be my first time flying SAS. I will be going on to Manchester, England.
Hi Jann,
That’s great to hear! Enjoy the trip!✈️
Hopefully it goes well, Im hoping to take SAS from LAX to Copenhagen to Heathrow later this year!

Only one piece of meal? No pre arrival Snack?
Hi, there has been a light pre arrival meal. Check 16:24 .
When was this video taken?

I am 182cm. I think if you manage to get the A330 of SAS back from LA, you should be fine.
