I have traveled from LAX to Stockholm on SAS international flights years before the pandemic with my parents. The menu was really good. They have the best food and alcohol drinks including their best Swedish whiskey. The service was excellent with flight attendants asking me if I needed anything. The inflight snack bar was fantastic.

I’ve flown on the A350 and I LOVED IT!! ❤❤ we fly a lot in between Copenhagen and Newark, which is usually on the Airbus A330-343. I was born in Sweden, so we go back every year to visit. Beautiful country!!
The E-pier is primarily a replacement for the C-piers bus gates C1-C7 (schengen) and C15-C19 (non-schengen). CPH need the space formerly used by those gates to expand the baggage reclaim area.
Watched this the day you posted. Had an Egypt trip planned and just today, 6 days after your post, got a note that airline changed from 747 to 350-900! Watching again before I select seat. BUT, 2-2-2 configuration?! They must be cheapening Business. Lufthansa. Thanks Dan!

Thanks for the detailed review. I disagree with you however on the expectations part. If I pay for a premium class ticket, let alone Business Class ticket I expect a world class service. Although you show ways of getting tickets for cheap, bear in mind not everyone has an access to these promotions, so some pay a lot of money for these tickets. Simply put, serving such a meal in a transatlantic Business Class flight, is simply a disgrace.
Agreed, looks pretty embarrasing. Used to be really good with SAS Business.
It is interesting for the entry & exit records within Shengen during pandemic. For example, if you fly from Göteborg to Copenhagen, you will not pass through immigration but when you land at CPH, you will be in the non-Schengen zone due to covid boder control. There you directly transfer to the flight to New York and you never literally *leave* the Schengen zone. Don't know if this will cause trouble for the next entry.

I'd love to try the A350, but it looks like SAS will start using 321LR for ARN-EWR and ARN-ORD in the coming weeks. Looking forward to your review of Y on these flights :)

Remember 10 years ago, then in business class the chef comes with the breakfast trolley full of different styles of egg, bacon, omelette......and ask you what you prefer for breakfast. It’s by far the best breakfast I’ve ever gotten in business class.

You feel the same way toward SAS as I (a Canadian) feel about Air Canada. It’s always been just ok but it’s really gone downhill during the pandemic. Service cuts on everything and prices are not even competitive. I wish these airlines would realize that their own countrymen and women are their best ambassadors!

How have you booked transatlantic biz for just 36,000 points? For me it's 60,000 on any route, including CPH - EWR (or 50,000 each way when booking a round trip)
12:17 TAP also offer similar seats in their Business on transatlantic flight
Scandinavian crews can be loud in the galley, but the language is delightful and it just makes me smile.

Can the premium economy and economy people come use the restrooms in between business rows 8 and 9? If so, that would make the two business rows in the back a poor choice as you'd constantly have people walking past you to use those two restrooms.
Wish I knew you were in newark I'm so close by we could have gone out on the town on me ofcourse and I could even show you the museum here on long island and the old Roosevelt Field air field check out the history of it you will be blown away since your an angel like me

Sir, I had traveled from Islamabad to London on Qatar Airways and on the way I had a layover in Doha ... so I got two boarding passes from Islamabad, that's fine. But if I get my ticket I book from Islamabad to London and also from multiple airlines. For example, on the way from Islamabad to London, I have a layover and after this layover, my airline also changes, ie I go from Islamabad to London in Qatar Airways. On the way from Islamabad to London, I have a layover in Doha. Me and after that my airline changes and my journey from Doha to London is on British Airways. Okay ... have I got two boarding passes from Islamabad or the next boarding pass from Doha? I will get ... I have a ticket book in multiple airlines from Islamabad to London ... so explain to me the issue of boarding pass of multiple airlines, you will be very kind ........

Dan you should try the new KLM 787 business class from Amsterdam to Toronto its good in my opinion. And then air canada business class from Toronto to London and then SAS London to Stockholm.
