- SAS recently acquired the first of many Airbus A350-900 aircraft and seeing the opportunity, I jumped on for an Atlantic crossing in business class from Chicago O'hare to Copenhagen. It was a pleasantly surprising experience both in the seat and the service, with a well-designed seat/bed combo, and fun crew.

It's the reshaping of these objects and traditions that make them unique. I mean Mardi gras and Fastelavn may have the same roots but you cannot doubt that they're quite different with their own identities today

As a rather tall Scandinavian I can confirm that the leg space is usually a big problem on most flights. Even if the seat in front of you is upright.
Your videos are always so beautiful to watch and so well done. It must take a lot of time to make them but we, your subscribers, really appreciate it. Please take your time and don't feel pressured to upload, I always get excited when you have a new video out because I know how much love and attention goes into them.

The SAS flight attendants are very polite and welcoming. If I have the chance to fly with them, I would just because of how nice and friendly the flight attendants are.

BA is run by bean counters. I feel for their flight crew who try their best despite their system being set to squeeze and irritate as much money out of passengers.

i found your channel while looking around for a new travel channel. Your subtle humor and your informative videos are refreshing. I find myself chuckling frequently while viewing. As a nurse for almost 40 years, I want to let you know that you will be a breath of fresh air to the nurses especially if you keep up your humor when speaking to them. Nurses are known for their warped sense of humor and I think youre going to fit right in lol. SAS abroad = luxury! SAS in Norway = 30 years old plane, which barerly flyes u from Oslo to Tromsø.
SAS intereurope: Cancels June flight in November and doesn't notify their passengers at all. I wish I was kidding but this is the reality we live in.

The cabin crew seemed so so friendly!!! I’ve never flown on SAS before but it seems like they treat their employees well as it is evident in the way they treat their passengers.
Sounds so sarcastic. I'm from Denmark. My impression is the exact opposite.
The International Terminal used to be where T1 used to be. When it was decided to create a new international terminal, UA took over T1 and the International Terminal 4 moved to the lower level of the parking structure behind the O’Hare Hilton. When T5 was built, they closed T4 and that is why it’s the way it is now.

Hong Kong Flying Sam Chui is a massive disappointment. His earlier videos were great, critical and informative. As he got more famous he just became a yes man. I’ve watched videos he’s done where the airline looks garbage and he’ll give it a good review. Dennis is still a legend!

I just discovered the channel this weekend, and I'm blown away by the reports. I've been hesitant about flying SK on transatlantic legs, normally flying UA or LH, but this video has definitely swung this (only) 1K MM to try SK when I can get back in the air. It’s now grounded, and SAS announced this afternoon that they’re sending 10,000 employees on indefinite unpaid leave (that’s 90% of their staff) with immediate effect, and slashing their routes to a bare minimum. People are staying at home because of the virus and SAS have been hit hard, sadly😳👎🏻✈️

I flew SAS in 1999 and the crew back then were just as friendly and happy to be there as the crew on your 2020 flight. SAS seems to know how to treat their employees well and that happiness shows!

Great Video! And thank you so much for doing a review of the lounges at ORD. I have Priority Pass lounge access, and have flown through Chicago a lot. Although I have never been to any of the ORD Priority Pass lounges, I was very happy to see your review of the them. It's such a pain in the ass to even attempt to make it to Terminal 5, then back to Terminal 1-3, that, even with a 2-3 hour layover, I just don't think it's worth the hassle. Glad to see that I am not missing anything special.

Really detailed flight review! SAS seems to be a model that United and Air Canada can learn for.
I hope so.
They're one of those old companies that used the hub and spoke approach to flying to make a profit with few and big planes making all the profit back in the days.
They where struggling a lot with making money back when the low cost airlines started showing up, ending up with older planes and higher wages then a lot of other planes (nordic labor laws and unions etc).
The goverment was keeping them afloat though and there's been a few changes in management.
I haven't read up on them in recent years though so I hope they're making a profit now.
