What an amazing trip report man! Loving how you covered every detail of SQ’s economy service on a nice longhaul flight from Singapore all the way to Los Angeles! I throughly enjoyed every detail of this tripreport, and felt like as if I was onboard the aircraft myself! Looking forward to more reports like this! And thanks for the shoutout at 6:35 man! Really appreciate it! 🔥 🛩
A very nice trip report, crisp video, simple yet entertaining, and love the zoom in view to the wingtip with the background view.... excellent, you got a subscriber.
Stunning video man! I’ll be flying this exact route (SIN-NRT) at the end of the year. Cool to check out what i’ll be experiencing in a few months’ time! Keep up the great work! :D
I took this exact same flight too like I also landed and took off on the same runways, same time, same meals, same gates and same views and crazily we also hit the wake turbulence of the exact same JAL 777-300 flight! but just the date was different. The 777-300ER is my favorite aircraft but these were the only 2 flights I have ever flown own that aircraft for. SIN-NRT was 6.5 hours and NRT-LAX was a bit over 11 hours... I really want to fly this route the other way around because it was just such a cool experience.
good flight review. thanks. i love the "flaparon" on the 777. it looks like it has a mind of it's own! such an ingenious control surface. what was up with the red "mood lighting?" kind of jarring if you ask me. why not something more subtle, SQ?
I FLEW this exact same route on June 11 2022 But the flight was actually 10hrs and 10min for the second flight. I had excellent service with Singapore airlines. Food was same for this review except for breakfast. Thanks
Good video - I enjoyed it. I’ve never flown with Singapore Airlines, although I have been to Singapore several times. But from Manchester (UK) the best option (and cheapest, until this year) was with Emirates - about 17 hours including 2 or 3 in Dubai. But recently Emirates prices have gone crazy, Singapore’s haven’t, so this October my wife and I will be flying direct from Heathrow to Changi with Singapore Airlines (economy). We’re looking forward to it.
Just come back yesterday to Manchester, shocking service,13hrs 15 minutes ,2 equivelant Tesco value meals ,no drink service, have to ask for everything, and these are the world's best?never fly with them again, back to Emirates without doubt ,far superior product ,food, leg room and by far entertainment system
Yep, Japan is the land of the 787 aircraft, Singapore is the a350, the middle east is the a380, and the US is pretty much the land of everything XD, excellent video!
How did you know all the destinations of the planes! Wah Lau man,you sure very good at Aviation. But when me,my son and my wife flew to Kuala Lumpur with Singapore Airlines to see my wife family,we flew on the Boeing 777-300ER.
The shot stop in NRT is actually benefited to all passengers. Imagine sitting in coach seat for long 18 hours. The legs will went to sleep, very painful.when I fly on nonstops to HKG 14 1/2 hour from LA.. It is painful enough. Good luck on nonstop flight from LA to SIN.
This is just so sad. The last time I flew with SQ their economy class meals had an appetizer, cheese, & crackers! & breakfast also included a side of cereals! This was 2014.
Took the non-stop flight SIN-LAX-SIN last month and I swear never again LOL. I wish I could take the NRT route, but it was fully booked at that time. Hopefully can travel via this route in the future. Anyway great video!
I have taken SQ12 once or twice a year for the last 7 years. The process at Narita has always been a mess. For the last two years cabin service on SIA has been not good. Bring your own snacks. It’s even worse on the SIA SQ 37 and 38(nonstop on from SIN to LAX-15+ hours with two small meals).
Good review. But when I fly with flight SQ 12 just like you, the flight is departing from Changi Airport Terminal 3 Instead of Terminal 1 and when my flight arrived at Tokyo its already a little bit dark at Tokyo
Amazing trip report. I am flying SQ in December from SFO to Chennai via SIN and my SFO-SIN and SIN-SFO flight is on a 77W. Booked 45A on one of these legs which I am expecting a view like this. Lets see if the 77W scheduled from SFO to SIN via HKG holds up
I thought you can just ask for snacks? Like I did that for my Melbourne flight i ask for Ikan Bilis bun and they showered me with a lot of snacks ahahaha. Though or you mean like a light meal before landing as I remembered they use to have that on both SQ and Emirates. I think they removed it as 1)Not enough Cabin crew per flight, 2) Airplane Caterers are now struggling to hire more as demand suddenly surges.
Good gawd that screaming baby was just like my ANA flight from kul to Narita on June 13th ...and onwards from Narita to Vancouver with Air Canada...the crying is still ringing in my ears a week later 😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫
Thanks for the video! Thinking of booking this flight with transit & your video was informative. Just a question though, did you manage to check the shops whilst waiting in transit or at least a quick purchase at the convenience shop?
Always wanted to fly to my destination in daylight but can never seem to find an affordable rate either than red eye, flying over Tokyo looks amazing, the farmlands from above is so picturesque. 😊
Great video! Let me give you my take on SQ and the 777 regardless if it's the 200 or 300 er series. It's a great aircraft but anything more than a 6 hrs flight I go nuts. It's freaking noisy as hell when compared to the a350 and the air quality too. If you think narita is great next time try Haneda if u can and esp if you are stopping in Tokyo.. it's closer to the City. Also SQ has cut costs so much they have taken the salad away and even the biscuits and cheese. I fly often in my days to the USA and I have to say when compared to airlines like Korean and EVA they are better in some ways. Also when hkg opens it's always better to fly via hkg it's slightly shorter and if you can try EVA and at times one can get their premium economy for the same price as SQ economy! Not sure if you know SQ now uses the reason for sustainability to take away all menus and on flights less than 4hrs only boxed meals and no silverware. Yes cost cutting is important but I feel we may lose our unique branding! ❤️🇸🇬
I'm currently in training to be a Load Control Officer. So far, I've only seen the SIN-KUL flight having no meals, only refreshments. Not sure if it's the same for SIN-PEN, but for the -KNO, -HYD, -COK and -CCU flights (>4h) there are meals on board 😊
Singapore have 3-3-3 on the 777-300er and a width of 19( not explained in this video), much better than many airlines that have 17 of width on the 350, when is was supposed to be 18. But yes, is more older than the 350, but still very comfortable to fly.
Do you think the changes are just temporary until the customer base is back to normal, or is it possible it might be permanent? If so, SQ will quickly lose standing as one of the airlines with best service and food.
Plan on taking this trip to get to Pattaya beach Thailand for my 59th birthday and my tourist visit to both nations my us navy ship docked in during first Lebanon war. My ship Afs4 docked in both nations many times so looking forward to seeing my old stomping grounds my first two yrs of duty in us navy
I find your videos pretty decent and your charisma had me subscribing to your channel at first chance. I have but one problem with them: we can't read that fast. We either watch it, or glimpse at many of your enormous messages. Don't get me wrong, they're great! But keep them longer on screen. Finally, try arriving at Tom F.ing Bradley early in the morning and you soon realize it's THE worst International Arrivals Air Terminal in the US...
Great video, thanks for sharing. This route is my usual when traveling to west coast. Passenger traffic on your flight looks to have picked up quite a bit. That noodle meal didn’t look too appetising though…. Edited: just to add that the transit in Japan looks so bad, I think after watching this I’ll be doing the full direct vs Sq11/12. :(
My flight to London Heathrow from Singapore 14hrs 15 mins. Really crazy with babies crying for few hours after one and another. But still I love flying with SQ. 4 times a year ‘my routine always with Singapore Airlines no matter what.
I find it amazing you can identify at Narita each departing planes destination on each runway as viewed from the window, unless you were given access to apps telling you the exact information you described on the video. lastly video navigational screen showed a global earth, could you show footage of the curvature of the earths sphere. it looked rather flat considering you were flying at 13km altitudes above the tiny clouds
Perhaps the minor snafus, no snacks on the first leg, bit of disorganization in Japan, are due to airlines and travel scaling back up. Probably needs a little time for everyone to start hitting their marks again.
We have done Chicago to Hong Kong a few times ant its 15.5 hrs non stop and that is significantly different because it is non stop. I dont think I could do it again other than in Premium Economy. Cant imagine flights longer but they are up to 19 hrs now. Singapore to NYC. The most a non stop lfight can go is 24 hrs which is one half way around the world. Again, this is too much to be in ordinary economy as far as Im concerned.
What an amazing trip report man! Loving how you covered every detail of SQ’s economy service on a nice longhaul flight from Singapore all the way to Los Angeles! Loved this review. Great camera quality and edited very well! Subbed.
A very nice trip report, crisp video, simple yet entertaining, and love the zoom in view to the wingtip with the background view.... excellent, you got a subscriber.
Please leave subtitles on just a few seconds longer. Thanks!
Stunning video man! I’ll be flying this exact route (SIN-NRT) at the end of the year. Cool to check out what i’ll be experiencing in a few months’ time! Keep up the great work! :D
Take off position and babies crying is a classic moment in economy class😊
True! 😂😂😂
And I was one of em hahah
Ahhh don't you love it? Babies crying, people kicking your seat and taking off their stinky shoes. That's the dream❤️
😆😆
not for me lol
Outstanding trip report. That's amazing economy class service from SQ. Both the landings were very good
I really wish they won't turn it into 3-4-3 config in the future. I will travel on SQ12 soon, and the reason I choose SQ is the 3-3-3 config.
omg that baby will be an opera singer when he / she grows up, cried to no end for hours!

LOVE your channel, I like how you mix in planespotting
I FLEW this exact same route on June 11 2022
But the flight was actually 10hrs and 10min for the second flight. I had excellent service with Singapore airlines. Food was same for this review except for breakfast.
Thanks

flying sq11 and 12 soon on 777, any suggestions?
New subscriber here! Awesome channel!
I love the Singapore Airlines. You cannot feel the take off and landing. Very safe airline. 👍
Wow!!!!!!! Looks like a great smooth landing.
Awesome video! I’m looking forward to seeing more of your content 👍
From the plane window at Narita, how do you know which aircraft you saw goes to where?
Hey thanks. I love your content and I’ve been this route several times but I’m curious how you know the destinations of all the other planes ? Thanks
Online flight trackers
Nice video, the text is also really easy to read :)
Thanks for your information, i hope one day i could fly with singapore airlines, one of the best fligh in the world.
Nice ride dude. Keep up the good work.
Love love LOVE this music❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hello.. thanks for the information. Please advise how is the legroom on 777-300er economy seat for standard person. Thanks
This looks great. I’ve given up on Qantas. I’ll be using Singapore from now on
Hi where they strict on the baggage allowance of 23kg. Did they allow few kg over.
When you transfer at nrt do you need tp bring your carry on with you or do you leave it in the same plane?
Great video! Flew that route January 1981 on a SQ 747-200. Bradley didn’t exist, instead we cleared CIQ at LAX in an inflatable building.
How did you know all the destinations of the planes! Wah Lau man,you sure very good at Aviation. But when me,my son and my wife flew to Kuala Lumpur with Singapore Airlines to see my wife family,we flew on the Boeing 777-300ER.
Nice flight and great video. Did you have a lot of turbulence from japan to LA
amazing quality, subscribed

They provide blanket and pillow?
fantastic video! I love that it was shot on an iphone but it didn't look that way.
Beautiful video,, great take off
What amenities kit is given on SingaporeAir in economy? Can anyone advise? Thanks
Took the non-stop flight SIN-LAX-SIN last month and I swear never again LOL. I wish I could take the NRT route, but it was fully booked at that time. Hopefully can travel via this route in the future. Anyway great video!
I like this chanel 👍👍👍❤❤❤
Great trip report. Just curious, how did you know where all these planes were heading to and coming from?
I was wondering the same
I know 🤔
What camera do you use?
Was PCR test required for layover in NRT?
No, unless you need to transfer between NRT and HND, or have an overnight layover.
Which one do you prefer? SIN-NRT-LAX or SIN-LAX?
With the more than necessary ads and the fact that your comments are not left on long enough to read, I am foregoing subscribing to you.
How much time did it take to reach your next plane to LAX in 1 hour of layoff
I have taken SQ12 once or twice a year for the last 7 years. The process at Narita has always been a mess. For the last two years cabin service on SIA has been not good. Bring your own snacks. It’s even worse on the SIA SQ 37 and 38(nonstop on from SIN to LAX-15+ hours with two small meals).
Amazing nice capture Good job
What the meaning of red light is back ?
would there be any shops available during transit?
I'll be flying To LAX From SIN on 25th June soon! My stop is at Seoul....
Guys Guys!! spotted another plane at 25:18 😘😘
Good review. But when I fly with flight SQ 12 just like you, the flight is departing from Changi Airport Terminal 3 Instead of Terminal 1 and when my flight arrived at Tokyo its already a little bit dark at Tokyo
Awesome report, i very much enjouyed it, SQ never disappoints
18 hrs in economy is brutal
Amazing trip report. I am flying SQ in December from SFO to Chennai via SIN and my SFO-SIN and SIN-SFO flight is on a 77W. Booked 45A on one of these legs which I am expecting a view like this. Lets see if the 77W scheduled from SFO to SIN via HKG holds up
One question is 45A a forward zone seat free to select even 48 hrs before departure?
are there any headphones provided?
Am I required to have a transit visa for Japan for this same flight?
No -- you basically just get off the plane and right back on after a security check, without ever going through any customs.
I thought you can just ask for snacks? Like I did that for my Melbourne flight i ask for Ikan Bilis bun and they showered me with a lot of snacks ahahaha.

Very good video
Informative
Very very glad found you all on my cel
Hope food good in that long flight if we get any?
Singapore my second favorite Asian nation
Thailand Numero uno.
18 hours seems a long time for Singapore to LA ?
Thanks for the video! Thinking of booking this flight with transit & your video was informative. Just a question though, did you manage to check the shops whilst waiting in transit or at least a quick purchase at the convenience shop?
OMG how long did that baby cry during the flight? Thank god for noise cancelling headphones.
Hi, new subscriber here 🖐🏻😄
Singapore to day❤❤❤
Always wanted to fly to my destination in daylight but can never seem to find an affordable rate either than red eye, flying over Tokyo looks amazing, the farmlands from above is so picturesque. 😊
Wow, areal cutlery, at this age?

So this was a transit flight right, looks like you re-boarded the same Boeing 777 again?
Just how curious what will that cost me price wise?
Nice vid!
We go to the same process in Korea aboard KAL going to and from LAX TO MNL ..a second security check also in Hk which is absurd.
That kid howling starting around take off on an 18 hour flight in Economy? ??!
One of us ain't coming home.
Is wifi available on board?
Did they land on 24 or 25
Omg that crying baby 😫😵😵💫
Plan on taking this trip to get to Pattaya beach Thailand for my 59th birthday and my tourist visit to both nations my us navy ship docked in during first Lebanon war.

SQ is just fantastic!
Great video..thnxx

What a long take-off roll from SIN to NRT!
lots of fuel...heavy bird
SQ A350 also nice aircraft

If you want more thumbs up, you need to narrate your vids. Don't worry about your Singlish, it's part of the experience you provide on your channel.
