Yeah. True, I hate to be put on a pedestal like with literally everyone else. It's creepy. But with Nathanos, it's the other extreme. And it's ridiculous and absurd to comical levels. Especially given the disconnect between being treated like a piece of shit by him, and like a demigod by the entire world.
@@ShadowTheHedgehogCZ It makes sense to me. I always felt that he viewed us as a threat. We are always referred to as the Horde's "Champion" and coming form Sylvanas "Our Champion" and "My Champion" has a very subtle difference. During the burning of teldrassil or Sylvanas warbringer if look at it carefully there's meaning to the beginning and ending part. Nathanos is an ass for sure, but he is interesting and amusing. Definately loyal to Slyvanas on more than an authoritarian/lich queen/faction-race leader level too. The two were not-so-secretly romantically and sexually involved when alive, as stated in the novels Dark Mirror and Before the Storm. So I do feel he is indeed, still quite in love with her deep down- even if his old dead heart has forgotten alot of those feelings. Slyvanas has shown affection for him too, well as much as someone like her does. I don't think she would let anyone else be her personal guard and right-hand man. NOW WE JUST NEED AN ON SCREEN KISS!

If Sylvanas were to die and could not be raised, would that not release Annhylde the caller from her pact? Also Nathanos is a sharp, cold, prick, but I actually like doing the quests he gives. I sense urgency in the demands as if something could happen to Sylvanas.
Thanks for this episode. However, you basically shared the *entire* plot to the book Warcraft: Before the Storm. Not sure what insight that brought to the story of Nathanos - other than revealing that for once, he was surprised by Sylvanas' actions. After all, those undead that she murdered were fleeing because they were overwhelmed with emotion at the reunion, not because they were betraying her. How long were they "not-alive" wondering about their living relatives? It's not a surprising reaction. Is Nathanos more alive than that empty hateful fear filled husk of a banshee?
Since the majority of the Forsaken are Undead humans, it would be fitting if their leader was also an undead human, which nathanos is. If they get rid of savanas and make nathanos the Forsaken leader I could see The Forsaken and the rest is the horde backing him.
I guess I'm a massive edge lord or whatever because Nathanos is one of my fav characters in wow, just the whole human ranger backround and his look is so amazing to me.

Nathanos has one serious problem: he comes across as Sylvanas' little bitch. And it can be solved so easily, just have him disobey one direct order. Like she orders him to attack a certain place, and Nathanos attacks somewhere else because it's a better tactical choice.
Nathanos is such a great character and perfect model design in wow. i love him and cant wait to see him in SL to show all his haters that once again he did what he wanted. (to die and go with Sylvanas and do the right thing)
I'd be more down to liking him if he showed some humanity at all. Maybe they'll have him be pushed to the point that his devotion is shattered and he shows true emotions for slyvanas as opposed to him just being her "bow holder." It would be cool/interesting to have him be the leader of the forsaken and more well rounded than having him grunt 24/7 and ask what slyvanas is doing all the time.
You realize why Nathanos talks down to you so much, right? You're also a champion of the Horde that the Banshee Queen calls on directly. You're the only person that threatens to take Nathanos' position, and he is NOT happy about that.
Sylvanas: I want my people and I to live for as long as possible. Delaryn: You have made life your enemy. Me: The fuck?!!! How does that make any sense?!!! Also me: Time to main Horde this expac. The Alliance have lost it.
You should have also mentioned the little speech he has on the Banshee Wail ship in the port when you click on his dialog option. He says that he is this zealous in fighting Alliance for his own reasons, not just his loyalty to Sylvanas. Which you didn't even hint on. It appears that you were presenting the opposite message, that he does all he does only for Sylvanas. Granted, his reason seems to be fabricated. He claims that Alliance turned on the Forsaken... but in fact, it was Sylvanas who decided to butcher the Alliance once they served their purpose in reclaiming ruins of Loarderon from the Dreadlords. Varimatras even commented on her being the same as demons in this regard. On the other hand, it's that while the humans didn't betray the Forsaken, they didn't offer them a very good deal either. Garithos basically said that the Forsaken will just help them reclaim Loarderon, and then they will just get the fuck out of there because they are filthy undead. I guess that could be reason why Nathanos hates humans... but you know, it's really funny that in his entire story, no interaction with any human after his raise to the undeath is ever mentioned. So it looks like he just made up his other motivation to not appear so grotesquely evil to his own people.
You know i've been a forsaken for a very long time and and from my expirience i can safely say that Sylvanas despite being Warchief she does whaever it takes to stay alive including killing her own people , betraying the horde, backstab her most loyal dog( Nethanos) because she's been there and thats a place she doesnt want to return and while personally i feel like story will tip the favor in Saurfang's side she will not go down easy so she will use every last ace up her undead sleve to reach her goal, all in the name of survival and also she's using the horde meat shields so she can create more forsaken and protect her amin.
I believe the some of night elf are doing unwilling. the warden is doing willing the other isn't. the warden has abandon Elune in alliance part because she won't protect dark shore
I think he will take a large part in Sylvanas redemption. To not have a new Garrosh scenario, he will stop the her going full haywire or even sacrifice himself
so how free are the forsaken really? if they are killed for "deserting" can they really be called free? seems more like sylvanas gave the forsaken the illusion of freedom, they are free as long as they serve her, if they don't serve her, then they are little more than scourge zombies on the lose.
They are free to not join Sylvanas, but when you join and then decide to betray and join the enemy, the fuck do you expect? Sylvanas just saying "I respect your choice, now go, tell our enemies literally every single weakness that could be exploited against us and expect zero repercussion because you have free will." Like, wouldn't the alliance kill anyone who defected to the horde? What you said makes exactly 0 sense
if you're noticing as many have, they're bringing much old content into this exp. they'e also seeming to be hellbent on killing off old faction leaders. i'm guessing for some reason the pantheon, and keepers will be involved sometime after n'zoth returns. by blizz repeating how an exp plays out, we'll be thinking nazjatar is the big prob, then we'll encounter the black empire, this exp version of argus. by then sylvanas will have joined up with them. the factions will once more unite against a world ending foe.
I wonder, with the ritual to restore Nathanos. What if some aspect of the Valkyr's power is inside him? Probably not, but if it were I could mean a couple things. He could either, give his life to save Sylvanas as the Valkyr do, or perhaps he has some deep seated power to raise undead himself. As a potential Forsaken leader to replace Sylvanas, that'd be quite valuable to be able to raise people yourself.

Am I wrong to have given up on wow but to love anything noble dose. If anyone can pull me back.. he is the way
Rockin' that Blood Elf Heritage Armor, eh Nobbel?
There goes going to sleep in time
please make a video between the connection between sylvanas, bwamsambi, helya, and lich king please
As much as I LOVE your lore videos, having Dracula narrate them was an interesting choice.....
I have not played in years, but love keeping up to date with you. He is pretty interesting :0)
I think he will take a large part in Sylvanas redemption. To not have a new Garrosh scenario, he will stop the her going full haywire or even sacrifice himself
With these night elves becoming dark ranger, I wish we will have dark rangers as a class for both factions.
ooooo! I like that idea!
Yay more elves
@@Autipsy can never have enough elves ;)
updated video on what we learn from shadowlands in a bit?
WoW graphics these days is stunning!
he will either be killed in a major war quest on the alliance side or during the raid that kills Sylvanas.
so how free are the forsaken really? if they are killed for "deserting" can they really be called free? seems more like sylvanas gave the forsaken the illusion of freedom, they are free as long as they serve her, if they don't serve her, then they are little more than scourge zombies on the lose.
Do you think the alliance would not do the same to soldiers that deserted? If so you are a fool
Thanks for the video, caught me up on his lore.
Hey what armor is that your Bloodelf is wearing?
Is it ingame soundtrack 1:30? Sounds kinda like halo 👍
How powerful are the val'kyrs? They buff Nathanos and he can beat Tyrande in her night-warrior state?
No, he still lost.
Thanks for the videos, very informative and intersting 😁
i haven’t played to much battle for Azeroth yet is Nathanos still alive and were is he now and what is he doing
if you're noticing as many have, they're bringing much old content into this exp. they'e also seeming to be hellbent on killing off old faction leaders. i'm guessing for some reason the pantheon, and keepers will be involved sometime after n'zoth returns. by blizz repeating how an exp plays out, we'll be thinking nazjatar is the big prob, then we'll encounter the black empire, this exp version of argus. by then sylvanas will have joined up with them. the factions will once more unite against a world ending foe.
Is that Blood Elf Heritage armor you wear in video?
Awesome! Love these videos you do!
One of my top favorite characters... I don't know what it is, but I like him. If he was a bit less spineless with Sylvanas I'd like him even more
Anybody knows what sword transmog he is using on the Bloodelf Paladin?
Wow, thats very interesting and good told!
And big thanks goes out to that eng subtitle because accustic i cannotr understand so much
Where the hell do I get that blood elf pally transmog
She gonna fight Eonar i tell you that " Not when there are still beings out there with the power to stop death" 1:40
part 2 of Nathanos 'edgy' Blightcaller
Champion of the xXDaRk_LaDyXx
i love sylvanas but honestly blizzard is probably gonna kill her off and have nathanos as the new leader. i'm really gonna miss her
I wonder, with the ritual to restore Nathanos.
The only thing that interests me about Nathanos is what's the name of his coat and where can I get it.
Hahaha look at Nathanos pissing his pants... Or wait, can he? 3:36
You gonna do a lore video on Kadgarth Bladefist?
I gotta know what transmog you use in this video!
Nathanos, The banshee queen personal white knight.
