John. Good stuff, l always putt FIRST with no intention but to get the speed, often just a few one handed putts. Keeps me away from thinking of form or even putting at a target (the cup). Better prepares me for speeedd
Thank you. I'm well and alive and will have a new video up next week. I've entered a political race here locally in Clark County/Las Vegas Nevada area and had no idea it would consume my time 15 hours a day. www.johnevans4recorder.com. That said, I have a long list of ideas to record video and new content is coming soon.
Love your channel. Have you made a video how to pick your gamer putter? I have 3 favorites putters, one has a better alighted aid than other, one has the best feel, one has the best roll. Do you have any criteria or how do you pick your gamer putter from your collection?
Hi I’m a new subscriber to your channel I was looking for some help with my woeful putting, I have two questions for you (1) is it better to make a practice stroke from behind the ball or along side the ball (2) I tend to stand over the ball too long almost freezing over it, how do you speed up your routine
Hi Darren. With regards to the practice stroke it really is a personal preference, I do mine from behind because I like to walk straight up the line from behind the ball into my set up...feel this helps me set up to start the ball on my intended line versus a practice stroke from the side. With regard to speeding up your routine: Try writing down the steps in order from the time it's your turn to putt. Focus on continuing to the next step. Practice it that way. I haven't done a video on this but I actually have mine paced out to a verse from my favorite Rolling Stones song. I've practiced it so much that I know which word in the song matches which step in my routine. (Putter always strikes the ball on the phrase "in Memphis". My time over each putt ends up being almost exactly the same. By the way my final step in my routine is see the ball go in the hole or on short putts "hear the ball" go in the hole...this helps me keep my eyes on the point of contact and not look up to watch until after the stroke. Hope this helps
Very practical and useful tips. I especially love the "three speeds at a ghost hole" tip. I've never thought of doing that!
Dave, it is a great one...forces me to think very specifically about speed and why...
Thanks for addressing my question. I love the quick warm up game plan!
Many thanks.I really love the tips to warm up depending on the time you have

Thank you this is great
Why are you not posting video anymore? I hope you are still well and alive :(

I haven't but I like this idea...will play with it and see what I can come up with.
Great lesson.

Great videos. What your opinion on “heads up putting” by Sasha McKenzie. It sort of makes a lot of sense. Thanks
I like the concept and it does make lots of sense. I think it works well for some people and not for others.
Grand Lesson!
Any other topics you'd like to see covered?
Love your videos, Mr. One Putt. Can you please do one on reading break when you are putting up or down an angled hill?
If a golfer is worried about a 40 foot put on the first or second green, tee off on the third hole. lol
Is this channel still active?
Yes...I've been very busy running for local political office and haven't posted any new content in several months...more is coming soon.
