Thank you for explaining the leaders and enders fabric! I've seen others using them on their videos and often wondered about them. Fun quilt top. Thanks for sharing. Plus your added graphics cracked me up.
This looks simple, easy, and fast. The results are beautiful. I have been cutting charms (5 inch squares) from my scraps when I'm not in pain or dizzy. I have a big box full now. This looks like a good project to use up many of those home made charms. Thank you.
Thank you for the shout-out. This quilt is my own design as are most of my tutorials. It is called Confetti. I'm glad you had fun making it. Much Love.💜
I’ve done a quilt in this fabric and really love the quilt it’s my favorite I did my by color and match color that were similar to do a color theme on the quilt.
This is so very cute. I love the lovely colors. The simplicity of the block is deceptive, it hides all the pinwheels s into a bright Patterns. I really want to try it. You are a great instructor. You explain and demonstrate very well. Huggles Always 🤗💖
Really enjoyed your video. Never knew about the leader square and will give that a go. Great tip. I have a group of charm pack and will give this a try. Thank you. Wonder how many I would need to make a Double Quilt.
We had a sunny day today in the Fraser Valley of BC. But the rain is back tomorrow. This pattern is cute. I thought of a baby quilt pretty much right away.
We've had very high winds the last two days here in the mountains. Supposed to be getting snow the next several days. The patterns is perfect for a baby. I agree. Thanks for watching, Kelley!

from Gerry- Your videos are so fun to watch! Love this quilt. I have saved charm squares for quite a while so I will definitely make this quilt. Have a blessed day!
You sure can do that if you want. You could also take a layer cake and cut the strips off of one block and sew them on another block. Thanks for watching, Jacqueline!
this is so pretty and you only used 1 charm pack - wonderful Melissa - now do you have any of the little ones - what are they called - Penny packs lol - i can't remember - i had bought several to make some Christmas Stockings for the mantel - blessings xx
Oh, I think those are called Mini Charms. 2.5" sized. I haven't bought any of them but I am collecting 2.5" squares. This was a big charm pack, it had 100 pieces in it. Love ya, Janet!
I was introduced to your channel a few weeks ago. I Subscribed to your channel. However, there has been anything new from you. I am worried about you. I hope you are on a nice vacation somewhere at this time. Thank you for this free pattern and video.
The "scant" comes into play because we sometimes forget that the width of the stitching line takes up space. If you are bound and determined to get EXACT measurements, then you need to account for the fraction of an inch that the seam line takes up. taking the math out of here, If we are making a king sized quilt, and we want it to be 120" wide, and there are 10 blocks in a row with no sashing and our seams are too generous by 1/8" each seam, that will add up quickly to make our quilt much smaller than the goal. The math would involve adding that 1/8" off of each seam in the block and then each seam in the row. The more pieces in your block the more your block will be off size. Thanks for watching, Stormy!
Oh Also love the Singer machine

Quick and easy! I am pretty sure the numbers on the ruler are for left handed cutting. I am a leftie.
I'm a lefty too. You might be right. I'm so used to doing things right handed cause there was no Lefty option growing up. Thanks for watching!
Oh, yes! Sorry, wasn't paying attention. It is so difficult to find left handed tools.
LOL, I've tried using lefty tools. I like some. I have a Martelli left hand rotary blade, used it for a while but went back to the regular one. I can't write righty but I can do most everything else righty.

Could I leave the 5 inch squares and sew a 2 1/2 inch strip on each one and do the same thing but it turned out?
You sure can do that if you want. You could also take a layer cake and cut the strips off of one block and sew them on another block. Thanks for watching, Jacqueline!
Use this design for a border on a panel or large piece of fabric

What is the reason to sew scant 1/4” seam?
The "scant" comes into play because we sometimes forget that the width of the stitching line takes up space.
