Great video! Getaway Today is the best. I always get a kick out of you when you hesitate to mention the toilet. Of course, we all use it! Imagine what it would be like if we didn't! Don't fear the toilet. It is your friend!
My Family and I moved out of California in 2000. I was 5. The last time i was in Disneyland was a year before we moved. I remember that there was only one park. My family wants to go back to not only visit Disneyland, but also Knott's, visit other family and friends and of visit our old home in LA. These hotel videos really help us. Thanks 😀👍
We (six of us) just stayed two nights at the Cambria Hotel. Really loved their Suite and we felt like we were in a mini resort. Relaxing at the pool after a day at the parks was great.
Thank you very much for this! We (6 adults and 2 babies) are staying at the Residence Inn Marriott in Dec. I feel so much better that it was PPP approved. Seeing the rooms easied my mind.
We love staying at this residence inn! We always get the bigger suite with 2 bedrooms (1 King, 2 Queens). Perfect for a big group of friends and family!
Yay! I'm glad you covered the Delta Hotel by Marriot. We stayed there a few years ago and liked it so well we booked it again for our trip later this year
Thank you so much for the hotel tours Chris! I love them. Please, please, please include handicap accessible rooms in your next hotel video🙏🏼🙏🏼. For example bigger bathrooms, roll-in showers, wider doorways. Please and thank you 😊!
Your hotel tours is why I started following PPP. I really enjoy your all of your videos. I like yelllow apples to snack on, green to dip in caramel, and red to cook with. Out of all of these, Cambria appeals to me the most. I love the double showers.
One question I have is which of these hotels have airport shuttles? That’s also a nice benefit so car rental is not required. Love this information! Thank you!
Get away today has a deal with Karmel for shuttle services to and from the airports to Disneyland area hotels. I think it was $250 roundtrip. All California shuttles, Ubers, etc require you to bring a car seat if it's needed.
Thanks for the info regarding the Disneyland area hotel. My husband and I were just at Disneyland last week and we stayed at the Viv hotel which was amazing. We used the ART buses to get around. We thought this was a fantastic service the drivers were so friendly and helpful. Can you do a video of the ART service? They even told us they go to Knots too. I think it would be helpful to people staying close to Disney who don’t want to walk to the parks. Thanks for all your park tips…. We followed them and had great time 😊
I’m so glad your room this place because I’m gonna be there on October 8 and I’ve never stayed there before we got a room with a balcony so I’m really hoping it’s all it’s cracked up to be
You missed my favorite one! The Wyndham was so great when I went to Disneyland for the first time back in 2021. It’s a short walk to the park, the pool and hot tub are so nice and on-site parking is free! Plus a bar, a Starbucks for a quick bite in the morning and a small store where you can buy things like beef jerky, cereal, medicine and beverages. Staff was amazing, rooms were clean and I had such a great stay.
Totally agree! I just got back from a stay there for D23 expo and that was the third time I've stayed there. I've stayed at three other hotels by Disneyland in 2022 and from that experience, other than what you already said above, I can also add that the Wyndham has a much larger fridge than the standard hotel, the parking is underground so it feels more secure, the room comes with a Keurig machine, and they give you two free bottles of water. The staff there are also the best, especially Stacy. She recognized us by name after the second day, though my sister and I wore matching outfits when we went to the parks so I guess we were more recognizable. The only downside I would say is if you had a room facing the street, it's definitely louder than if you got an inside room. The AC or heater would block out the noise but if you're a light sleeper, that's something to keep in mind.
Wyndham is amazing!!! Stayed twice within the past year and will be staying again in two weeks. Everything you mentioned is exactly why we love staying there and I cannot say enough good things about the staff. ALSO- we’re a family of 6 and the queen deluxe fits us perfectly!
Thank you Chris for braving the heat and sore feet to bring us this video. I so appreciate it to help me navigate where I want to stay in Disneyland❤️🥵🥰You’re the best😘
Great video! Thanks for making it! Very professional staying out of most mirrors. I like Chris' reaction when he sees himself in the workout room mirror. These hotels and rooms are nice. I love the bended shower bars! The hotel that looks like it's outside but it's inside is super cool. I love that picture above the bed at 16:55! Chris always has cartoons on when the TV is on. Showing off the shoes again, multiple times! I love them! Ludovic playing basketball in the background would have been hilarious. Free breakfast is super nice! I believe that all hotels should have complimentary shuttles.
Ohmygod, holy cow... Chris, I have so much I want to say! (I hope I don't forget anything) First off, holy smokes, all of those hotels - every single one of them - looks amazing. Absolutely amazing! Every time you walked into to a new hotel, I think my mind just went, wow, this is so nice! When you showed off the lobby of the Hyatt hotel - ohmygod. That indoor/outdoor thing is so cool! I have never seen anything like that with a hotel! So unique and omg, so beautiful too! I would definitely love to stay there someday! But then, omg Chris, when you showed off the Embassy hotel and said that it had 14 floors, and then showed off the view from the very top floor... holy cow did that ever look cool! And palm trees INSIDE the lobby? What?! It just had a really unique and of course, absolutely beautiful feel! And on a quick side note, I think it's hilarious when you say "I don't know if you guys use those or not" when you're showing off the bathrooms. XD And omg, I literally said "Whaaat?" out loud when I saw that bluetooth mirror in that very last hotel! What a cool idea!! Great job showing all of these amazing hotels in just one day! Would love to see more videos like this!
I love this!! I always look for hotels within a short walking distance, but it was so so nice to see first hand what further hotels have to offer! And I could just do the shuttle. I’ve never truly considered doing it until this video! And I love hearing your words of kind encouragement. It makes me feel cared about and it lifts my spirits. ❤️😊
You’re heartfelt message just for me in every video really means so much and hits me right in the feels. I really appreciate you Chris, and the hard work and effort you put into all your content. Thank you! You are valued and loved! 🫶🏼Byw, our family is staying at The Embassy suites during our next visit to Disneyland and booked it through Getaway Today 👏🏼
Aw Chris I know you were just poking fun @ 30:26 but you are absolutely amazing and anyone would be so incredibly lucky to be your friend 🥺 My boyfriend is a cast member, he works at Trader Sam’s and we go to the parks frequently. Every time we go I always tell him I hope we see Chris from provost park pass!! ❤️
I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn about 10 years ago and they were really great to us. Loved their swimming pool. Great location. Great quality. Great value. Love that it’s not some monstrous hotel with hundreds of rooms. It’s very comfortable. I’m so glad that they haven’t lost any quality in 10 years.
Thank you so much Chris for showing us all the hotels. More options. I've shy away from these hotels because of the distance but now after showing us I might have to book one in the future. Thank you
Thank you. When I lived in Riverside we could just drive to the park and drive home...but now it's an overnight stay. So I appreciate the information. I was really sad to recently hear that there is no "magic morning" any more unless you are staying at the Disney Resort hotels itself. Still haven't been back since before covid.
14:15 great job mentioning the huuuuge benefit of staying at the hotels near Target. There’s nothing like being able to quickly run to Target for soda, water, snacks, sunscreen, aloe vera, medicine or anything else you need and not get ripped off. Marriott Anaheim Suites has been our favorite and consistently best value.
The Embassy Suites gives a full complimentary breakfast to anyone, NOT just for booking through Getaway. When I stayed there we booked through AAA and got the free breakfast.
Love the hotel videos. Just for fun, we priced the 2 room suite at disneyland hotel (1,500.00) a night for 2 nights. I am hoping that could be done cheaper, but I will definitely shop around!
Thank you so much for your videos! I love how much you care about "us" and get a little teary when you "take a moment" to tell us how awesome we are. :) Oh and why did the melons have a church wedding? Because they can't elope.
Thank you for the Hotel Reviews! One thing we would like to see is a quick look at the mini-fridge. Due to allergies, we need freezer packs, so it would be great to see which hotels have freezer sections in the mini-fridge. Thanks!
Thanks for great hotel reviews. I think you need to stay at these hotels and tell us how the beds are! We stayed at the Cambria this summer (your previous hotel video helped us decide) and it was great, but the pull out couch was miserable. We would not have been able to sleep on it if we hadn’t asked for an extra mattress. So please stay at all these hotels and review them as an actual guest.
We wanted to stay as close to the park as possible, so we stayed at the Best Western Park Place Inn. It is right across the street from the entrance. It also had a free hot breakfast included; with a family of 5, this was a huge plus. It was not as fancy as some of the others and showed some age, but the location and free breakfast was worth it for us.
Chris thank you so much for showing us a ton of options to stay at. My wife and I are looking into going to Disneyland in 2024 and it’s nice to know what options there are with you showing us how everything looks and the amenities that are at the hotels. We would love to see more. Thank you for being you, you’re doing awesome! Hopefully we get to meet you in California or Disneyland Paris one day.
Hey Chris, thanks for all of your amazing videos. We stayed at the Cambria about a month ago and it was fantastic. The pool and waterside are perfect for the family. One thing that wasn't mentioned about the bunk beds is that there is a third mattress that pulls out from the bottom! This was perfect for our family of 5.
Chris, we love you & your videos, thanks for all your positive comments. When doing room tours with sofa beds, would it be possible to pull them out so we can see the mattress thickness, I want my teenage daughter to be comfortable.
The one hotel on your list I’ve stayed at and would not stay at again is Embassy Suites. It’s too large. The enclosed courtyard means the courtyard noise echoes and amplifies. The upper floors stay quite hot all night long. They usually only run half of the elevators so getting outside from a high floor can take 10-20 minutes. A ridiculous anount of time. The breakfast buffet in the central lobby is a loud & overcrowded zoo. I definitely recommend the Marriott Suites and Hilton Garden Inn instead. The Doubletrees and Holiday Inns are better than Embassy Suites too.
My family and I are planning our first ever trip too Disneyland, so this is great. I'm going to use your video to suggest we need to switch to one of these!
Thank you for this but I was wondering if you can just walk up to any Disneyland hotel the day of, and get a room for a night or two? Of course with reservation already made. Thank you in advance.
Hi Chris & Amanda- Can you show us what Club Level at the Grand Californian is like sometime? I'd like to see what the food in the Veranda looks like and also the rooms. Thanks!
Great video! Getaway Today is the best. I always get a kick out of you when you hesitate to mention the toilet. Of course, we all use it! Imagine what it would be like if we didn't! Don't fear the toilet. It is your friend!
I dont think you mentioned it, but I think its a pretty important thing to note that a lot of these hotels charge for parking.
Thanks 😀👍
le
I stayed at an Embassy Suites in Lynnwood, WA when I attended the Pacific Northwest Mouse Meet a couple months ago. Great hotel!
I appreciate this so much. This is the very first time I am planning a vacation out of state and his is so helpful. ❤
Thanks for the Homewood Suites mention. We are staying there soon! And the info on the ART Shuttle. Great videos!
It was fun giving you that tour at the Embassy Suites, and hunting for those turtles, hope to see you some more next time!
I love the Marriott suites !!
We stayed at Holiday Inn, only 10 minute walk to Disneyland, they also got Art Shuttle, complimentary breakfast.
Awesome tips! Thanks for the tours. Love them 👍🏽
We love staying at this residence inn! We always get the bigger suite with 2 bedrooms (1 King, 2 Queens). Perfect for a big group of friends and family!
Yay! I'm glad you covered the Delta Hotel by Marriot. We stayed there a few years ago and liked it so well we booked it again for our trip later this year

I was going to post the same request 🙂
Yes, please!
And accessible path of travel - this would be very helpful.
Your hotel tours is why I started following PPP. I really enjoy your all of your videos. I like yelllow apples to snack on, green to dip in caramel, and red to cook with. Out of all of these, Cambria appeals to me the most. I love the double showers.
Great work ❤️
We loooove savings❤️
Anything to get us to Disney right
One question I have is which of these hotels have airport shuttles? That’s also a nice benefit so car rental is not required.

Get away today has a deal with Karmel for shuttle services to and from the airports to Disneyland area hotels. I think it was $250 roundtrip.
All California shuttles, Ubers, etc require you to bring a car seat if it's needed.
To help be more specific, no hotel in Orange County has free airport shuttles from either LAX, BUR, or SNA. (John Wayne)
Thanks for the info regarding the Disneyland area hotel. My husband and I were just at Disneyland last week and we stayed at the Viv hotel which was amazing. We used the ART buses to get around. I appreciate all the hotels you showed. I wish you would have included the courtyard by Marriott Anaheim with the Waterpark though.
Love the Cambria. That is our go to when we family a family Disneyland vacation.
Thanks for giving us the best way to afford Disneyland!!
You missed my favorite one! The Wyndham was so great when I went to Disneyland for the first time back in 2021. They are all amazing hotels! Thank you for the great reviews. Chris, You are the BEST!
Thank you Chris for braving the heat and sore feet to bring us this video. I so appreciate it to help me navigate where I want to stay in Disneyland❤️🥵🥰You’re the best😘
Your walking hotel tours are so much fun!!!
The Anaheim Hotel? Grand Legacy? Those are better, closer, and cheaper options than most of the ones listed! :)
Thank you so much for this video!!!! It was so helpful in choosing our hotel for our vacation! 🙏🏼❤️ Blessings to you and your channel!
Thank you for this. Stayed at Paradise Pier last time..well now Pixar lol, but love to see what other options are available. The wallet thanks you 😀
We did our last stay in October '21. Ursula stole the show. Hands down best hotel I've ever used.
Thank you! Watching your videos always make me smile
You should review the Park Vue Inn. It’s literally right across the street from Disneyland
Great video! Thanks for making it! Very professional staying out of most mirrors. I like Chris' reaction when he sees himself in the workout room mirror. These hotels and rooms are nice. I love those shoes too. I would never be able to wear them. I would overheat! Sandals all summer for me.
Love these! I love shopping to find the perfect place
This is a super helpful video! Thank you for all the info. We are planning a family trip for August, first timers to DL and super excited but newbies!

This is going to come in sooo handy when I plan my trip for Dapper Day! Thanks so much! :)
Thank you so much for this, just what we needed, perfect! 😊

Thanks for another great video Chris.
Can you do something similar for hotels near by universal..
this is amazing
So glad about this I mean. I did get to stay in the Disneyland hotel last time but that can’t happen every time
This video was so informative! Thanks for providing all the different options!
Incredibly helpful vlog for travelers!!
I am a WDW girl, and I'm so nervos about planning Disneyland pretty shortly, this has been so helpful! Thank you!
I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn about 10 years ago and they were really great to us. Loved their swimming pool. Great location. Great quality. Great value. Thanks for this video, booked our trip to Delta by Marriott in November. Thanks, used your promo code as well!!!
I love living in a time where you can research EVERYTHING before you go. Thanks PPP!
Thank you. When I lived in Riverside we could just drive to the park and drive home...but now it's an overnight stay. So I appreciate the information. Great video! Can you do this with the three Disney resorts?
Thank you!!! We’re planning a February trip and this is SO helpful. I’m going to call getaway today for all those deals!
Hey Chris, can you do a video of surrounding restaurants near Disneyland? Thank you.
I sleep on my side also. Usually hotels don’t have enough for pillows for me. Your video was great thanks.
Thanks so much for this video! It is SO helpful for planning my vacation next year! You’re amazing ✨🙌🏽💖
Thank you so much for your videos! I love how much you care about "us" and get a little teary when you "take a moment" to tell us how awesome we are. :) Oh and why did the melons have a church wedding? Because they can't elope.
Can you please film the bus stop area at Disneyland. It will show signs as to which hotels pick up at which locations. Thank you.
Marriott colors are pretty!!
Thank you for showing the suites with kitchens. As a family of six with food allergies, we need to travel with food.
Fugi is my favorite kind of apple for snacking. It just has to be firm and crisp. For making pies and Carmel apples I only use Granny Smith.
Cosmic Crist!
Great info. Thanks
Very helpful planning tool
Thank you Chris! OUTstanding!
Thank you for doing more hotel tours! Very helpful. Thanks for including distance in this series. Would love to see you use the Art shuttle too.
Thank you so much for the information can we get one for Universal Hollywood
Chris, I know your apple song!!!! ha ha that took me way back to 4th grade! Thank you for that. :)
What happened to your video on the Walt Disney Studios tour?
Helpful vid I’ll have remember this for later!😁

Love watching the motel videos, from Australia
Team Pink Lady Apple :D

Thank you in advance.
So helpful!
This is really useful, could you do a similar tour of the hotels around Universal Hollywood please.
Thank you Chris your amazing
Hi Chris & Amanda- Can you show us what Club Level at the Grand Californian is like sometime? I'd like to see what the food in the Veranda looks like and also the rooms. Thanks!
Thanks for the views, rest those doggies!
The best apples are golden delicious(yellow). I like knowing my apple will always be sweet.
We always stay across the street on Harbour BLVD. Maybe some reviews for those hotels? Thanks.
Would love to see a video about getting an ECV at Disneyland. Places to rent one and the process.
Hi Chris what time does the shuttle stop from Disneyland to the Hilton?
