Lol when you panned to the menu of Salt & Straw I was like “ooh, honey lavender!” then you were immediately like “you might be turned off by some of the names; I mean really, honey lavender?” 😂😂 I’ll have you know, that flavor is fantastic!
@@savannah4439 I’m sure it is or it wouldn’t be on the menu. 🤣 But lavender does not sound like a good ice cream flavor. I had a Mac and Cheese one there once. Now that was strange. 😂
We used to always split special treats like smoothies between our two boys when they were little, it's a great money saving hack. And although my boys are 18 and 20 now, we still take trailmix and our home made sandwiches into the park and save the splurge for a Crazy Shake. Lots of changes to DTD since our visit last Spring, thanks for the updates!
Traver, Goofy's Kitchen has also increased their prices. They are $10.00 higher now than what you showed. Some great new places I'll need to put on my list to try. I absolutely loved this video/vlog. So much useful planning information!
I just love the beignets from Mint Julep…the ones from WDW were kinda disappointing 😢 Please be safe out there, praying for all those affected by the fires. Thank you for the video 😊
WoW!!! I was literally looking for a 2025 downtown Disney food guide this morning (for our trip to Disneyland next month). Thanks for this great video 🤩
Everything has changed so much, since I was last there. Food looks great, but incredibly expensive. I think Trader Sam’s may be a must on our next get away. Thank you!!
We LOVED Salt and Straw on our most recent visit. I also got the (vegan) pb one like Amy. Loved it! Sampled a lot of flavors but wish we had done more, especially the unique flavors. I could eat at Din Tai Fung every week! Miss that place already! Another awesome video. You're "woo'ing" me to come back! Ha!
@SoCalDisneyDad If I were a rich man, I'd be an annual pass holder and fly in monthly! I feel like whenever is next it will probably be World, but when I look at it, the list of rides, everything...just, my heart is in Cali.
I've done the character dining at all the locations in Disneyland: Minnie Mouse and Friends at Plaza Inn, Mickey's Tales of adventure in Grand Californian, Disney Princess breakfast adventure at Napa Rose GC, and Goofy's Kitchen at Disneyland hotel. Out of all of them, Goofy's kitchen was by far the worst out of all of them. We arrived right on time and had to wait an additional 50 minutes before being seated. And the food did not taste fresh at all despite going for breakfast at 9am. The price is similar to Minnie's and Mickey's character dining, but those seemed to work out better in timing and food quality being so much better. But the best by far in terms of quality, interaction of characters, timeliness, and attentiveness was Princess Adventure. That was expensive but I have never had such an amazing experience before, and it was all due to the staff treating everyone in my party like VIP (memorizing all of our names and catering to every specific need we asked for and anticipating needs we didn't even think to ask for). Hope this can help other people who may be trying to decide which one is worth it. As for Goofy's, my husband and I both thought it wasn't worth it, especially when there are better character dining options for similar pricing.
Another great video! 😁 Not sure if you already know, but there are now two additional places to get food at the Disneyland Hotel that weren’t in your video….The Palm Breeze Bar and The Broken Spell Lounge. They both serve food. The Palm Breeze serves lunch and dinner from 11am - 8 pm and The Broken Spell serves dinner from 4-midnight.
@@misskelleymarie I went by and grabbed footage, but decided not to cover places where the primary purpose is alcohol. The one exception being Trader Sam’s.
Love 💕 Jamba Juice 🥤 so delicious 😋 my favorite is the razzmatazz so good and fruity too downtown Disney has some amazing dining definitely going to check them out next time I visit Disney
I absolutely love it. I just wish it were more affordable. I miss the Berry Pom I used to get at Orange Julius, too. But the nearest one to us is at a mall I don't really visit all that often.
I finally got an indoor reservation at Trader Sam’s in December - it was a lot of fun! My tip for snagging a reservation is to look a lot earlier than the other reservations come online - about 2 hours before. But you’re right about walk-up: we waited a while for our table, but it was not full and people were getting in for a late lunch at 3pm.
@@jackieshaw9256 I’ve heard walk up is harder the longer you wait. That’s why we did right when it opened. It also seems like no parties larger than 4 people. They’ll have to be split. They might have a 6 seater or two outside, but nothing inside. It’s too tight.
Could you do a video on off Disneyland property eating locations that you can walk to that are not so overpriced? Like maybe Gardenwalk or places along Harbor?
@@JordanWestridge No. It’s not anywhere near Disneyland. At least not near enough to have any effect. I’m not actually sure how far away they are. But I’d guess an hour or more.
And more coming, too. At least 3 that we know of, if you include the new Earl of Sandwich location, though it may end up selling the same stuff as the current Tavern, so maybe not. And then the news that ESPN Zone is being split into 3 tenants might indicate the possibility for more food there, though who really knows what it will be.
@ oh yeah I forgot about the ESPN zone. That seems super boring and somewhere I don’t want to go 😆😆 but I know there a lot of sports fans and will attract a different demographic than most of the current offerings
@@kristenhoskin5822 It won’t be ESPN Zone anymore. It’s just the building being utilized for something else. We just don’t know what yet. Could be 3 stores. Who knows.

Great info! I don’t always spend as much time exploring Downtown Disney as I’d like so this was really helpful for our next visit.
