He won us the league in 2010/2011. He had an amazing season! Scoring hat-tricks and also that 5 goal 5 star performance against Blackburn.

Because he wasn’t suitable for United style of play, the team had to adapt to accommodate him, still think that we should have made Tevez loan permanent rather than sign Dimi, Tevez was our pit bull was a shame how it ended
Zepher Gaming Yeah Berbatov joining is what made tevez leave ultimately. Tevez had the energetic work rate which complemented Ronaldo and Rooney. We would’ve played better in the CL final with tevez that’s for sure.
Ivaylo Yordanov i can see why fergie left him out. He just didn’t fit the style of play we had at the time. With Ronaldo, rooney x tevez on your team, the tempo of play is gonna be sky high. Berba was slow for that play and when your facing barca in a final, gotta go full guns blazing. Unfortunately that didn’t play out too well, shoulda played better x put tevez on tbh. Don’t get it twisted doe berba was a brilliant player especially on his best day👌🏾

Lukaku's a different type of player. He's vastly improved his 1v1 skills and link up play. Wish people would give him more credit for what he's great at and not moan about other things.

An army of pass oriented player behind him Nani, Valencia, Giggs, Evra, and even his strike partner is a great pass oriented player like rooney. Compared with lukaku whose surrounded by army of dribbler and cut inside plater like lingard, martial, alexis, rashford

He had the best first touch and ball control I've ever seen, when he had the ball he hardly ever lost it.
Still think he should have gotten better chances in Man Utd. Left out of Champions League Final squad against Barcelona even though he was United top scorer that season. Truly deserved better chances but nonetheless one of the best buys for United.

So much comparison between "lazy" Berbatov and the very energetic Tevez back then. Both were great strikers in their own way (although Berbatov would be my definite choice between the two as many of you would probably agree) and funnily enough, not many people know that Berbatov actually covered more distance on the field than Tevez, in spite of all that sprinting!
Exactly, because football is not just sprinting around, but also creating chances for your teammates, covering different parts of the field, etc.

Jake Boyle don't think Bergkamp was underrated. He was quite popular and known for what he does best. That goal against Argentina rocked the footballing world. Carrick was overlooked even for his national team.
Agreed. You see full games from 2006 to 2009 and Carrick was consistent and ran the United midfield. The moment United signed him in 2006 over Chelsea, we won the league for the first time in three years. His addition to the team was integral. He never got the due recognition because United had Ronaldo, Rooney, Tevez, Ferdinand, Vidic, etc grabbing the headlines.
