Rooney deserves SO much respect. Cristiano came and he was our best player. He never moaned or complained. Just got on with it. Then RVP came and was our best player. Rooney never complained. David Ojewumi. Agreed. I was happy for him when he got his move from Arsenal to play under arguably the greatest manager to ever take the reins of a club. I'm sure Fergie was the deciding factor in his firm decision to choose red>blue.
A player of his quality deserved so much more, but our - Arsenal's - unambitious butts held him back.

You see him play so different in a very attacking Belgium team and he's not the same player albeit with world class players like De Bruyne and Hazard around him, scoring is a piece of cake.
