    Great video man! Very informative install, I’m looking forward to importing one!-------
    REMEMBER WHEN INSTALLING COILOVERS TO GREASE ALL THE THREADS SO IN THE FUTURE THEY DON’T SEIZE!!

    Hey mate, thanks for the video - it was a godsend when fitting BCs to my Z12 Cube! Gotta ask though, did you ever experience any knocking from the rear? I preloaded the springs and torqued all the bolts down to spec, but when hitting any sort of bumps on the road there is quite a lot of knocking coming from the rear.
    Car handles amazing, but the knocking is quite unsettling!

    I think you can still take out the perches in the rear if you wanna lower

    Nice job, mate ! I am currently waiting for my BC Coilovers to be delivered for my Cube, so your video is just perfect ! Could you please share your stiffness settings ? And for the height, did you stay at like 13 mm at the rear like in the video ? And what about the front ? Thanks !

    • @jordanlayt
      @jordanlayt  3 года назад +2

      Nice! My stiffness is currently 5 clicks from the stiffest setting on both front and rear. This may be too stiff for you so just try and change if you're not too happy with it.
      As for height I'd say to just try installing them and play with height after, then test and readjust as needed. You probably won't get it where you want straight away 🙂
      It's all pretty much trial and error to get it where it feels best for you. Also be sure to get a wheel alignment once you're happy with the height, it will make a huge difference.

    Nice vid. How's it been holding up?. I have rsr down springs on stock struts and it's horrible creaking and rough. Looking at these coilovers, do you get any creaks or noises from suspension with these
    Cheers

    • @jordanlayt
      @jordanlayt  2 года назад +1

      Thank you! Still going strong, haven't noticed any noises or anything. I did recently soften up the dampening on the struts, just for some extra comfort though. Would definitely recommend these coilovers over lowering springs on stock struts (I had a similar setup previously)

    How does this affect the handling? I've been wanting to make mine more responsive and tight. let me know!

    • @jordanlayt
      @jordanlayt  3 года назад

      Definitely tightened it up a bit. But as you know, the cube is not the most nimble/agile car so it's effect is limited haha! Still, much more confident in corners as I don't feel like I'm floating so much.

    • @jordanlayt

      As far as I'm aware they cannot. It would mount up differently and not line up with curves etc

    How wide are your wheels? 7 or 7.5"

    • @jordanlayt
      @jordanlayt  3 года назад +1

      These ones are 7.5" wide
      I'd suggest trying to go 7 instead as I've since lowered even more and scrub when turning
