- After purchasing my wife's Cube I noticed the dust boot on the strut was broken so I decided to order a new one and install it. An easy $25 job to prolong your shock absorber's.
I totally got caught out by the third bolt by the bonnet hinge, thought I needed to take the bonnet off first but you managed without!
YES NO ONE DOES VIDEOS OF THE CUBE!
well done mate, love your work
Awesome vid mate how long did the job take you?
Thanks for the video. I have a 2013 nissan cube... only has 60k miles... but I am buying new tires... and figure might as well replace struts. Can I ask why you did not just also replace the strut since you went through the work or removing it and taking it apart from the spring ? I am not sure to go with KYB or Monroe.
What is that? What you took the nut off of at 1:07 in the video please?
Possibly a 14mm socket
Johnney's Garage I know it's a 14mm but I found out. I just wanted to make sure that was the stabilizer lonk. Thanks
Oh I see what you mean, glad you have it sorted.
what size are the strut bolt heads? are they different from the bolt to the nut?
Was wondering what year of Cube you are working on? Have a 2011 but am unable to locate the third bolt that secures the strut assembly. This model does not have the removable cap option.
You can find the 3rd bolt right next to the wiper blade, there is a little square plastic you have to removed.
Yes, mind too🤔
I prefer videos like this withOUT all that stupid chatter
