my aunt passed away 2 months ago and i'm driving her Cube now. i fully understand why she loved this car so much. 2011 57K miles👍🏻 miss you aunt Cindy💚✝️
@@ryandesormeaux5 The Cube is just a A to B car with great room and very practical. If you're 16 yo is after something fast and take corners like a sports car no way, its no designed for that at all. On the city streets its fine for keeping up with traffic but on the freeway its kind of slow. I am very happy with mine and I would buy another one if Nissan made it again.
I have the same car, It is awesome no problems at all 140 000 miles runs like new. I flush all the fluids, change all filters, changed all spark plugs and spark plug wires. Ceramic brake pads. Go to a great mechanic and have them do a 3 step fuel fuel injection cleaning service. Make sure they use BG products. It gets rid of all carbon build up The car roars now. Also use royal purple engine oil it is better then mobil 1 one oil. It drives like a race car now!!!! Also use Trico Titan wipers they work the best. ALso buy the royal purple oil filter and change serpentine belt every 80 000 miles to be safe.
Cube is The most quirky, interesting and cute car since 1963 Renault Dauphine. I got one and I LOVE it!! But wished it not come with annoying CVT, I would rather have the 6spd manual(very rare) . Who ever said the Cube is ugly is the kind of generic people who lacks imagination and artistic thought.
have a 2010 with a 6 speed that now has 190,000 miles. it's been great with only changing normal wear items and I stiffened up the suspension a little. you can still feel every little wind though.
I love my Cube so much. Definitely stands out. Always wave to the other cubes I see and almost always get a response. I'm not familiar with the cvt transmission issues as mine is the 6 speed manual.
As far as mine !! The idea of the corner cup holder is pure genius. In the summer it keeps my cold drink cold And in the winter my coffee hot!!!! Well acceleration. Mine will get you a ticket It gets there quickly. And moves on down the road. I did put bigger tires on it and it drives even smoother . I love mine I call it My Betty Boop car it’s decked out with the Betty Boop floor Mats , steering wheel cover I even have Betty Boop tool bags and carry organizers plus more. But in my side window is A Betty Boop bobble head sitting in the (wrap window side ) With red flower clings in the window.I also trimmed out the doors with trim and it stopped the clunck sound
It's a bit hipster - but the 'second' smaller corner cupholder is for Red Bull size cans specifically. Although I'll admit - red bull and audio books are a real help with crossing vast western states, so I can't complain.
i love my cube, i do wish it were 6 speed but i still love it. it’s been having trouble here recently with starting but the guy who had it before me put a gps tracker on it and i think that’s what’s causing my battery to die faster and my car not to start. it’s got a red line wrap going down the left-centerish top of the car. it’s got a magna flow exhaust pipe, an entertainment screen, rear-view camera, RGB lights under the dash, black rims, skirts, a front and back bumper lip, and yellow fog lights. tbh it looks really cool, especially with the black rims. sometimes i feel like there’s a hidden turbo in my car ngl. i handle that thing like ive been driving it my whole life but in reality ive only had it for less than a year.
I don't know about yours but my cube is fast stock. I've never made any modifications to it... it's original, and it's hella fast for a four-cylinder vehicle.
What part under the steering column to the left is referred to as a pigtail? The part is discontinued and I was told they all have a different number so finding the right one is like finding a needle in a haystack.
Had to have another motor put in. Only one that could be found was a 2010. My car is a 2009. So everything doesn’t quite match up. Had an electrical issue after that, that’s why this pigtail is rigged, now the car won’t run consistently.
I loved my Nissan cube it was my mom 2009 unfortunately I don't have it no longer due to a jerk totally it. 😢 But otherwise it was my first car and I loved it. Now I have a 2016 used KiA Soul it similar to the cube but a little longer and still good on gas..
You have to change the 2 filter and oil transmission every 30,000 miles i just replaced my transmission. I'm keeping the car engine is great. No problem 😊
@@elizzbethjiminez4817 ooo - ty for reminding me - I just passed 30k miles this week. I'll make sure the CVT gets some love at the dealer next month. (yep - took over 12.5 years to log that many miles - it went up the coast to the Pacific NW and back to AZ, and to New Mexico, but I have a home office so no daily long commutes - just the occasional excursion to the high desert).
Might just benefit from charging your ac if it brow hot air. Can be done with a pressure gaiguand refrigerant bought from Walmart and do it yourself for under $30
My friend's mom had a cube and it was perfectly fine for us on the highway, it definitely passed trucks on the highway better then my Nissan Sentra. But the best part about the cube or most Japanese cars at that is they are customizable so if you want more power out of it u can get cold air intakes, ecu tunes, turbo kit, JDM parts straight from Japan, ECT. The reason I like this car is because this is probably the most Japanese styled car we ever got here in the states for In Japan most of their vehicles are tall boxy small little hatchbacks, very traditional in Japan vs something like a Camry for example. So I'm actually glad they brought the last generation cube to the states.

Words cannot describe how much I love this car
@Brittain Boswell Its just a quirky looking car. I just bought one last week. Like it so far.
I am on my 5th years with the Cube and love it, so comfortable and easy to get in and out of. Mine is an 09 with 90k and zero issues.
Thinking of getting my 16 year old a Green Moss 09 Cube. Think she will be happy?

Just bought the 6 speed last night. Only has 82K miles on it.

@@Slavic_Boer , good 😊 , but Nissan cvt suck ass, Toyota Cvt no problems.

Love my 2009 Cube! 140k miles and still going strong. ❤
Thanks! Today I bought a 2009 Cube with only 40K miles on it. I love it! Your review answered quite a few questions I had.
How does it drive on on interstates

I’m getting one of these for my 16th birthday
very very true, people either love my cube or hate it, there is no in-between !
I have the same and I love it. She's adorable 🚘

I love my 2012 Nissan cube. I don’t worry about parking space, a reliable little car.
If they sell it again, I will buy it again! Love my Krom!
I just bought a 2009 in 2024!!!

Cube for life!
You forgot to mention, it competed with the Scion xB!
I’ll be honest, it’s because I forgot about the xB!

this gets the edge compared to the [kia] soul which rides just too harshly over anything rougher than glass-smooth pavement.
I don’t know how to connect my Bluetooth to the car it only connects to phone calls but can’t connect to music
I have this car in green and named her Hazel
Please tell me how I can fix my Ac on my 2009 Nissan cube I press start button but it does nothing could it be a fuse?
How can you clean the headlight covers?

Last segment he is in South Bend!
I’m actually in Bloomington! Not far from the IU campus.
Looks identical to an underpass in South Bend!
Really want one, but heard cvt transmission goes out.
Then get a warranty duh...
Buy one with a manual transmission like I did. Makes it way more fun to drive anyway (unless ur lazy)

What is VDC OFF button above fuel filler cap release handle?
Vehicle Dynamic Control. Or, Traction Control. That button turns it off and on.
