It looks really cute to see it in my garage in-between my wifes Murano and my s14 Silvia. And for all the haters out there get a life cuz it ain't no ones fault that you can't look good in this ride!!! Nissan for life!!!
We've owned a 2009 Cube since Sept 2010. Both MDH and I love it. Besides the cool styling, it has a lot of techie features our old care didn't have. The CVT is just fine, and it is comfortable to drive. It stabilizes itself on wet, snowy, slushy surfaces. Them ileage is good, and the sound system is great! Oh yeah, people stare at it because they are still a bit rare in the midwest.
me and my boyfriend just got our cube last night! It's amazing. So cute and perfect for the new york streets. I love the looks people give us as we drive by, standing out is a great thing with this car
I have to admit, when I first saw it I made fun of it. I looked inside of one and although I never would drive one, the car itself is very practical and I think there will be a lot of people that fall in love with this model.
Cubes are good cars. Gas mile good, safety features good, style good, . Drives well, handles great. Will get you from point A to point B. Nice little car. For those who laugh at it, make fun of it, or just can’t get one of there own, shame on you. Ask yourself does your car have the bells and whistles that the cube has? If not, shut the hell up!!!
i heard that teh seats are kind of uncomfortable? is that true? I'm trying to decide whether to buy a Cube or Soul. lol. the only problem i have with teh Cube is the way the trunk opens. kind of sucks when you live in the city and a car is parked behind you.

I have the shag carpet and the rippled rugs but im realizing I didnt get the bungees- HMMM i think I need to ask about that- anyway- I LOVE this car- awesome upgrade from my cramped Chevy HHR!!!!!

I like this car. Not saying i would buy it and i would do my best never to drive it but i do like how it pushes the boundaries modern conventional design.
Kinda like the element or the Scion XB when they first came out, nobody really liked them at first, but after awhile the grow on you, myself I prefer the Scion

Why not? Well, it's not common, but not unheard of either. Smaller engines tend to have narrower powerbands thus benefiting from that one extra gear. There are now and then some smaller cars on the market with a 6 speed manual. At least here in europe. Then again, the cube has a 1.8 liter engine, which isn't _that_ small, so I guess it would have done just fine with 5 too...

I was surprised and a bit confused at first, but once I drove it I fell in love with it. the Cube is the car of the 21st century. get with it, fools.
This car is ugly. But, for some reason it's a tolerable ugly. Almost an appreciative ugly. My wife and I went to test drive a white SL model today with a CVT transmission. It's slow, but I don't expect it to be anywhere near the speed of my 1993 Mazda RX-7. It's comfortable and has an abundance of cupholders. I don't think you will ever be without a cupholder ever again in one of these. Not a bad car, and I think it'll grow on me.
The shag dash thing is to wipe suction rings from the windshield so your GPS doesnt get stolen. Sorry but Ill save my $200+ and get one for $10 at AutoZone
Can't drive that car over speed bumps or through the truck munching pot holes in Houston Texas! You need curb clearance in that thing sometimes we have to drive over the medians during redirect traffic.. i can barely do that in my sentra now!
i really like it because its different...especially the wrap around window.. i think its cool. I really want one but I dont think my credit is good enough : (
I drive one of these professionally, great inside room, comfortable, windows reflect images on the inside and can be distracting. On the highways it gets gets blown all over the road when windy, feels far too twitchy in snowy/icy conditions. if you want to buzz around town though in the summer its great.
I found out this CUBE with the base model you're getting jack...none of the cool features u hear them brags about. All the cool stuff you get bumps up to 18K plus which cost more than what an XB offers for a less price.
I do believe this will be a great car for nissan, just like the original scion xb. no one like them but they grow on you. this isn't a sports car but an eco car, which i rather have my mpgs then getting 14 to a gallon. as I always say, test drive a car before you make an a crap comment on it, most times you will be surprised when you drive a car you think don't like the looks of.
im my country they dont offer a 1,8L 122hp whe dutch people get a 1,6L with 110hp (probably from the PSA factory) and the cheapest version we can get is €19K. i think this car is a tad overpriced and i think the kia soul looks nicer (my opinion)
@liennto I agree with you. It seems that car fans will look girlie if they like a car like Cube. They have to like Mustangs and Corvettes. The Cube is an awesome car. My next car, without a doubt. Of course, qith the Shag Dash Topper.

Yeh 5 speed would definitely be more open. It's so old school :D 1.8 liter engine..what does it push only 122 horsepower and they're fitting 6 speeds in it..awesome how Nismo stays TRUE Nissan ALWAYS has a clutch and stardard gearbox option :D I just never seen a standard yet, Miami sucks donkey balls

The front, especially that front overhang and rear skirts or wtf they're called just made the cube worse, I loved the 2nd generation cube, the 3rd one looked grand, a tiny bit too ugly compared to weired and awesome or the car, but this specific one.....

I just bought a red cube on Dec 18th ... I LOVE IT !!! it is original, comfortable, fast and quiet.

Shag dash would be useful to put wallets and alike whilst you're driving as there'd be friction to hold it in place through turns.

Yes the HHR feels like a coffin compared to a cube or xb.
Rims, sound system, exhaust.... I'm sure there's a supercharger/turbocharger out there somewhere this things pretty popular in Japan.

You're wrong because Cube is much older than Scion xb. Cube had become such a kind of exterior design by 2002.

I like everything about it, except for the taillights being so low to earth. Maybe is they were like the Murano's, then I would like it even more. =P
