The use of these 4 essential oils sound very refreshing I bought your 2 books and am very excited about trying your recipes and your rings are beautiful.
Thank you for your VERY informative videos! I really look forward to watching every new one when I receive your notifications. I've learned so much from you.
I can't wait to try this one! I literally just received my bottle of bergamot mint today, so perfect timing. I also received your book last week, and it's wonderful! It's really educational but also an enjoyable read. Thank you, Andrea!
I'm about to make this blend....i made a horrible scent 2 days ago thats still lingering... 4 drops rose 3 drops Jasmine 2 drops patchouli and 2 drops lemon.....it smelled like pee 😢😅 I can wait to try this one out.
rose and jasmine work with a bit of lemon perhaps or by themselves. But the patchouli is a very heavy deep smell that with the lemon just dont' work together. I can see that wouldn't smell great. But keep experimenting!
i love how my english teacher, who used these types of things, looks almost exactly like you. do all essential oil women have thick greyish hair? and wear lots of rings and turquoise

hello andrea awesome video as always. my question: where is the best places to put your diffuser for maximum spread in the home? like a central location that it would spread the aroma the best? thanks and have a blessed day
That is a great question, Tinyt2018-I like to put my diffuser as centrally located as possible. If you have an open floor plan the aroma will reach more rooms quickly. In the winter months, when the furnace might be running, the aroma is drawn into the vents so this helps to disperse it throughout the house too.
Why ceramic diffuser? Just curious, as I notice those are much more pricey. Is there a difference between diffusers besides the look or size? How do you recommend purchasing one? Or maybe you could do a video on diffusers if you have not done one already....thank you for your input and be blessed!
Paula Resendez I'm wondering that too because as I understand it the EO's break down plastic so I'm wondering if the ceramic prevents the breakdown of carcinogenic byproducts from being dispersed into the air
Thank you for reaching out! This diffuser is from Aromatics International. They have a wonderful selection. Here's a link: www.aromatics.com/search?q=diffuser
If you would like to try the blend before making it as a stock blend, you could use 3 drops Lemon essential oil (Citrus limon) 3 drops Bergamot Mint essential oil (Mentha citrata) 3 drops Bergamot essential oil (Citrus bergamia) 1 drop Peppermint essential oil (Mentha x piperita)
Hi,would like to use essential oils like for example the ones that you are using today for the house to smell fresh. I have a little dog at home would this be safe to for pets to breathe in too. Thanking you
Hi patricia gimay! At Aromahead, we don't teach the use of essential oils on animals. Our recommendation is not to use essential oils directly on the fur or skin of small animals. Animals are sensitive and it is good to be aware of that. Diffusing small amounts of oils in a well ventilated room making sure that the pet can leave the room if they choose is generally fine however we do recommend reaching out Kelly Holland Azzaroat Ashi Therapy to learn more where animals are concerned. www.ashitherapy.com/animalaromatherapy.htm
Hi andrea im back😉😉 i would like to know what blends well with bergamot, for a perfume. how would lemongrass or lemon do ? i love patchouli and bergamot eo and would like to know what you would blend with both of these? . your book is on my christmas list thank you
Lorrain Cassesso Since you love Patchouli I am sure you'll love my personal favorite perfume: blog.aromahead.com/make-essential-oil-perfume-nl I am sorry, I don't have a Bergamot perfume to suggest, but you may enjoy this diffuser blend: blog.aromahead.com/2016/05/30/diffusing-citrus-essential-oils-brighten-home
Hi, Andrea. I would want anyone who visit our office to also say, "Wow, what am I smelling? It smells amazing." But I read that some people are sensitive to Pappermint? Can I change it to Spearmint? It's kinda a softer Peppermint, right? Thanks!
Yes, Peppermint can be irritating if using too many drops in a topical blend, and it's best to avoid using Peppermint in topical blends for children under 5 years old. It's safe to diffuse, but Spearmint could be a great substitute if you're looking for a softer minty aroma. Spike Lavender (Lavandula latifolia) would also be lovely to use instead of Peppermint. 💜
Thanks so much for the quick response. I tried the link but it just took me to amazon.com with no specific product. Maybe they don’t sell that product anymore.
Aromahead Institute No problem at all, I’m thankful that you’re the type of RUclipsr that responds as some don’t. Anyway, that link actually took me to the product and I will make the purchase. I wish there was a way you could earn credit from the manufacturer for referring that product to me. Take care and Happy New Year!
This is an older video but I just stumbled across it in my search for what oils to use. I have a sensitive nose so I have to be careful. Many of these oils smell good but not coming out of the diffuser. I've tried several and have not yet discovered one or two that I can tolerate. I want to use my Diffusers 😔😕 any ideas. I'm the same with candles too..I can only tolerate about 2 scents.
Hi Gina! Have you tried diffusing Lavender (Lavendula angustifolia) and Lemon (Citrus limon)? This is a lovely combination of oils that offers airborne antimicrobial, immunostimulant, and CNS sedative properties and the aroma is well balanced between fresh citrus and sweet floral. 💜
Hi Andrea, I dont have a diffuser so I put hot water l into a glass jar and then added some peppermint oil. I feel it is such a waste to throw this out after one night. Is it safe to reheat this with the oil already in there in the microwave for another night? I appreciate your suggestions.
I should add white vinegar to it? I listened to your audio you did for Hay House Summit. I am Excited to make the scrub you provided. Glad I found you!
Because essential oils evaporate quickly when open to the air and from the hot water in your glass jar there is probably very little left ontop of the water. Reheating it the next day will likely cause what little essential oil remaining to evaporate completely.
Hi Andrea! I recently watched your woodsy perfume video from a few years back! I read through some of the comments and wondering if you still recommend same companies to purchase oils from? Top favorites? Thanks! Oh and this diffuser is on my amazon wish list!
Yes, I still recommend Aromatics.com for all of your aromatherapy blending needs, Peachtree-78. And I think you're really going to enjoy this diffuser.
Thank you, Laurie Ohall! If you don't have the bergamot mint you can always use more bergamot and peppermint in the blend to make up for the missing bergamot mint. I might use 1.5 mls of bergamot and 1 ml of peppermint in this case.
I've stopped using my diffuser for 2 weeks now bc we no longer smell the oils like in the beginning. So frustrating and i feel ripped off. Please help!
Oh no, Cherry Chapstick! You might want to refer to your owner's manual and try cleaning out the unit. The mechanism can sometimes get clogged up and a simple cleaning will do take care of the problem.
Good question. You would need to follow the recommendations of your diffuser's directions. Each unit can vary in how much water is necessary to add, Rachelle Parsons.
I don't sell essential oils, Ellen Zeltmann, but you can find all four of these oils at Aromatics.com and blend them together just like in the video or you can alter the recipe to your liking.
Divya DOFS it would be difficult to know for sure what could be happening and what we would suggest is to reach out to the company you purchased the diffuser from to see what they say.
Your personal use of essential oils is fine around animals. Diffusing is generally fine too, as long as the animal can leave the room if the aroma is too strong for them.
Bergamot Mint (Mentha citrata) is actually very similar to Lavender in chemistry, and despite its name, it has more of an herbal aroma. We can see how this oil might sound redundant in this blend though! Here's a link if you'd like to learn more about this lovely oil: www.aromatics.com/products/bergamot-mint-essential-oil

Hey Paula, I have many different diffusers. I do like to use this type and ones that allow me to diffuse thicker oils, like vetiver.
Sounds really good! Looking forward to trying it when I can get all the EO's I need for it.
Thank you Andrea, what a great video ❤️😊❤️ I’m excited to try it out!
