- Ingredients required:
1. Channa dal ( 1 tablespoon )
2. Urad dal ( 1 tablespoon )
3. Red chillies ( 5 to 6 pieces)
4. Hing powder ( 1 teaspoon)
5. Tomatoes ( 3 medium size )
6. Curry leaves
7. Salt as required
8. Turmeric ( 1 teaspoon)
9. Jaggery as required
10. Tamarind paste as required
11. Gingerly oil

I don't understand why we should fry everything separately and then add it together later. Instead, how different it is when I fry dhall to brown, chillis, tomatoes, tamarind paste, hing, coriander, turmeric together and then grind it in a mixie after the mixture is cooled down.. In the end, can just spatter fried mustard seeds.. Would this give different outcome? I hope not. Thank you for the receipe anyways..
