Desert Tech, keep innovating. Keep improving, keep challenging the industry. But always, build quality and never rest on your reputation like some competitors have.
Monopoding that magazine looks like it'd be nearly as stable as using sandbags. We need a stock to go with it, that holds a second qmag horizontally for 106 rounds on the gun, grab and go. This and your mdrx are one of the few really innovative things coming out. Hope the economy doesn't tank before I get a chance to buy them!

Desert Tech should split the MDR family into large and small frame.
A combat reliable 5.56 (and .300blk) size bullpup. No fancy ejection, no .308 size and weight, no magazine inserts.
Just a lightweight, compact, reliable bullpup with a precision trigger. The gun the AUG and Tavor and L85 always wanted to be.
16" and 12" (and 8" 300blk) options. A little less modularity. Just reliable, compact and lightweight. Actually military ready technology.
Oh, and maybe an improved trigger pack. Maybe even work with Triggertech or Hiperfire. We would absolutely pay for even better triggers.
And then the big boy rifle for .308, 6.5creed and nowadays 8.6blackout.
The trigger is already provided by a precision trigger company. Could they refine it more? Possibly.
I would love to see a complete Trek-22 rifle as the gen2. Maybe work with Fletcher and their open top 11/22 to make it easier to clean, plus a metal rail for a more rugged zero.
I would love for them to ship the Quattro-15 I ordered two months ago.

@@jamesgraham8386 I got mine about that same time period... Aside from the poor communications throughout the waiting period, the final product was everything I had hoped for... I have since sourced 2 more from dealers that had inventory delivered within a few days. Hopefully DT will find a way to offer multiple caliber compatability within the qmag framework at some point in the future. A speed loader would be nice for range trips too. The adapter plates work wonderfully in the interim... And the ambi controls are well implemented. All in all, quite pleased with the end result.

got a 12.5 san tan pillar lite upper on this lower 0 malfunctions and the mags fit my mag pouch on my plate carrier
My OCD just wishes they'd made it standard length and it would be a 60 rounder. 53 rounds just seems odd for a little saving on length. And 60 is such a nice number😂

This may be dumb..But Id love to see a Quattro-15 magwell for the Bren 805..1 punch out 1 pin and it separates from the pistol grip..Also not a serialized part..

Will deserttech sell a complete semi auto Quattro 15 rifle with piston system?
Love the innovation but would like to see some 60 and 75 round options too. I appreciate the point of the 53 rounder is to allow for common stanag pouches, and lower prone shooting, but if you made a mag that fit in double stack ak pouches well that would allow for ease of carry, and a continued expansion of its goal: more capacity.
They even mention in their video that it will fit in a “dark age” double 30 round magazine pouch, but it doesn’t fit 60 rounds like a “dark age” double magazine pouch. I agree and say since it’s already shorter than your standard 30 round why not make one that’s a little bit longer since it’s taking up the space that I could have fit 60 or even 80 rounds in. Most mag pouches are open top and maybe come with bungee retention so if you really wanted to you could fit 2 40 round mags in there. Or just a regular 60 rounder!
@@anthonyruiz9906 yeah I do think it's weird they made it shorter. I wonder if the suppressor friendly gas venting sides remove some of the capacity as well. I think they should standardize overall size around the USMC double single mag pouch from eagle industries. As far as I know it's still being issued, they're available as new surplus for $10 to civilians, and more chest rigs like the Onward Research and T Rex Arms are about the same size, if not the exact same.

Users state the 300 blk is working flawlessly for them but we focused the design around the 5.56 so we aren’t guaranteeing 300 blk with them.

It would make more sense in 6 arc since the max right now is 25 rounds and it has full size power in short barrel and better bc than 308. With just 5.56 ppl will stick to d60s

@@printingwithpeek4897 there are more people are using 6 arc now than they were using 300 blk when it first came around the numbers don’t lie more power than 5.56 and better flight than 308. With proper support it can replace both
@hearts5846 Yes.....because there's more media exposure than when 300 whisper was started by SSK in the 90s. They said the same thing about other cartridges and while this isn't necessarily a wildcat, it's not a mainstream cartridge that a ton of people are using. There's absolutely more people running 6.5 Grendel.

Rest assured, the QUATTRO is shipping! Our email was to reiterate the timelines for delivery we initially outlined at launch. The plan from our initial ship date of November 6th, 2023 was to fulfill preorders and backlog by January 2024. We are still on track to meet that deadline.
